Absolutely loved the guest for obvious reasons. Respect and admire his commitment. Also the interviewer was really fun and engaging. Really brought out the best energy from the guest. Officially subd!
I think larnells drumming is second best part of him. Dude seems like a very loving and kind person. Emotional intelligence is very high with him. To me that is something to look up to as much as his playing.
Man! This guy is a pure genius! “I can start again” and that pro tools metaphor… That’s so wise and peaceful deep down inside… Thank you for inviting him!
Larnell is such a beautiful soul. I've met him a handful of times, and he just exudes class and grace. Who'd have thought he could transform into such a monster on the kit
So that's Larnell playing with the phenomenal Rich Brown!!!! Larnell is obviously extremely intelligent, gifted, skilled, disciplined, prepared, positive, and confident in his abilities!!!! A very impressive interview!!!
Thank you for this great interview! What a beautiful set of people. As a drummer it answered many questions. Everything really resonates about being in the moment, having that expanded awareness to act on what you feel and interpret all the signs that are flying around when playing together. He feels so centered and put together, a one track mind without distractions. What a great lesson to work on mindset. Thank you!
Wooow! What a precious interview. Massive gratitude to both you guys for creating space for this conversation, really helped with a lil life-rut I feel I've been in 😅 Much love to everyoje, keep playing and being amazing people 🙏
26:54 Just another great Toronto player. He's reminding me of Oscar Peterson...❤❤❤ Larnell is a young giant. Love his work. Oh and "We Like It Here"...is the Larnell Lewis album...👏👏👏👏❤😊

Great interview except for the AI question. He rephrased the question perfectly. But still kind of dumb having to answer it. If I have to explain it to you I doubt your going to understand. We just do what we do..And AI is sitting with a big question mark...IMHO😊

Agreed! Been inspired by him since the day we did this interview
And humility! Folks who've been in school with him all say he knew his greatness yet was always humble
