I'm actually sad about the entire Kang/Majors situation. To me it was the perfect segue to displaying how variants in different universes and meeting them can be sad, terrifying, impacting, redeeming, and most importantly, world changing.
@@westside9032 I slightly disagree. Kang was one of the top 5 villains in the comics, though he was the lowest tier of them (as I would put Thanos, Galactus, Dr Doom, and Apocalypse in front of him). It's just that Kang being stripped away is disappointing especially because he began the peak of multiversal stories in the comics as well. I would have loved to have seen all of these multiverse characters fight against him.

Doom and Tony technically have the same motives Tony wants to protect the world from evil where’s Doom wants to rule the world so that humanity doesn’t destroy themselves
Dr. Doom always saw himself as a protector of the world. Doom and Tony are very similar in a lot of ideals, the only dividing line is their morals in the end.
Personally for me Doom is a great villain but they already introduced all the Kang variants. Don’t know why they wouldn’t just cast a different actor and say “this is the most dangerous Kang variant!” Could’ve easily kept the story going.

Wild take, but i think Thor is actually the Anchor Being of MCU, Kang remembering and Deadpool dying in his arms kinda gave me the vibe that Thor is still that important to this timeline
Personally I really wish they stuck with the Kang story, even if they recasted that would’ve been ok but as someone who followed the trial from beginning to end I feel majors didn’t deserve to be sidelined like that especially looking at the past of a lot of other MCU actors, but I hope maybe they could bring him back
them keeping Alioth and the void canon has me thinking they have some plan for kang. It could be that they kill him off within 20 minutes of Doomsday, like they did 616 thanos in endgame

Nathaniel Richards should definitely be reintroduced once Fantastic Four, X-Men, Avengers, etc. are all in the same universe. Just so much in there, it should not be wasted.
I think they are moving too fast. This should be cosmic phase saga with Galactus as the main villain in the end. AND THEN, after Galactus they should start with the multiverse, and go through Kang to Doom and Secret Wars, resetting the universe in the end. And then start movie version of "What If..."
I'm not sure they should have changed the MCU just because one actor was a goofball; I know this isn't exactly a hot take, but I mean...Rhodey. While certainly early on the the series, that alone proved you can change actors without putting a whole plot line in the dumpster. Frankly, I kinda wanted to see where the Kang storyline went.
I think the problem was that they goofed it by including Kang in Quantumania and pretty screwing him over by showing how 1 "lesser" hero could take him on. Not to mention the storyline up until then was not great.
While I wont argue about the storyline as it sits, I think that it had the potential to have a lot of great stories in the future. I will fight you about Loki being a 'lesser' hero; I mean, he's always been a god by default, now he's a major diety.

I've been an Avengers comic book fan since the late 90s, with Kurt Busiek's transformative run on the title. Losing Kang Dynasty at the 11th hour has is literally 25 years of fandom down the drain. I don't care about seeing Doctor Doom for the fourth time, or the desperate ploy of casting RD Jr as the character. This is the Avengers 5 we deserved, not the crap we're getting.
Don't get me wrong I am excited for Avengers Doomsday but I would be living through my teeth if I said I wasn't looking forward to Avengers The Kang Dynasty.

Don't like RDJ coming back as Doom at all. Waters down a killer character like Doom just to get RDJ back because they've lost track and need a quick boost from RDJ's popularity.
I hope Jonathan majors gets cast as Kang again sometime in the future. The idea of kang being the weakest kang in his debut but then years later becoming even stronger as a result of that place he was trapped in is cool
When it comes to Cinema, it usually never happens. Unless you're rebooting that character yes but to pick up where someone left off, doesn't usually happen because it usually doesn't work.
@@AngelBoria Well I was talking about main characters in a series rather then supporting casts. Mark Ruffalo's role was very very small role in the infinity saga. That's why they never replaced Chadwick Boseman. They knew it can't be that simple like in comic books. Plus Majors case is negativity tied to Kang so it was probably best to completely move on from that character. Maybe in a decade they can bring Kang back

AND THEN, after Galactus they should start with the multiverse, and go through Kang to Doom and Secret Wars, resetting the universe in the end. And then start movie version of "What If..."

I would have loved to see the Kang Dynasty story, I was just wishing they changed the writer but kept the actor and story bits
I'm not sure they should have changed the MCU just because one actor was a goofball; I know this isn't exactly a hot take, but I mean...Rhodey. While certainly early on the the series, that alone proved you can change actors without putting a whole plot line in the dumpster.
Frankly, I kinda wanted to see where the Kang storyline went.
I think the problem was that they goofed it by including Kang in Quantumania and pretty screwing him over by showing how 1 "lesser" hero could take him on. Not to mention the storyline up until then was not great.
While I wont argue about the storyline as it sits, I think that it had the potential to have a lot of great stories in the future. I will fight you about Loki being a 'lesser' hero; I mean, he's always been a god by default, now he's a major diety.

I've been an Avengers comic book fan since the late 90s, with Kurt Busiek's transformative run on the title. Losing Kang Dynasty at the 11th hour has is literally 25 years of fandom down the drain. I don't care about seeing Doctor Doom for the fourth time, or the desperate ploy of casting RD Jr as the character. This is the Avengers 5 we deserved, not the crap we're getting.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss you and your family suffered. We lost our three remaining uncles around Christmas time.. Each day is slightly better than at least one before it, even on days when it feels as though grief laid an ambush. I can only imagine how much worse losing a parent is.

When it comes to Cinema, it usually never happens. Unless you're rebooting that character yes but to pick up where someone left off, doesn't usually happen because it usually doesn't work.

@@AngelBoria Well I was talking about main characters in a series rather then supporting casts. Mark Ruffalo's role was very very small role in the infinity saga. That's why they never replaced Chadwick Boseman. They knew it can't be that simple like in comic books. Plus Majors case is negativity tied to Kang so it was probably best to completely move on from that character. Maybe in a decade they can bring Kang back
I don't care what people say, but Majors had some of the best monologuing in the MCU.
