    hi. very cool! congratz, maybe you already answer this but... what porpouse has the hole in the middle of the bottom of the base?

      it as two purpose first is to oxygen the fire and second to recuperates the senders in the box below, put a grill over the hole to keep the charcoal in the BBq

    Awesome BBQ man. No welding either! How is the steel rod held in place? It’s so smooth and quiet, really great job man.

      Old comment but at 4:59 you can see a pin inserted through the rod. Just need two of those. You can also maybe use a tap and die, and thread the rod on the far end enough for you to install two nuts on the end opposite the wheel. Could also adjust tightness that way.

    Where exactly did you get the 40 inch blocks? I've looked at Home Depot and Lowe's and can't find them. What are they called?

      About 500$ Can. two or three grill long, begin with the grill and built around it.
