With all the $$$ he saves not paying rent & utilities, he could actually stay in a motel with a kitchenette once a week (if he wanted) to get a really good soak in the tub & an absolutely quiet sleeping time & prepare some healthy meals to fill his mini-fridge for the upcoming week.
I do that with house sitting. My dog and I live out of my PT cruiser on the days/weeks I’m not booked, and use my time during my seats to clean out the car, enjoy some good showers (hopefully a hot tub too) and prepare for the next jaunt. It’s great.

Bob, This video is a real winner ! You're such a wonderfully concerned person trying to help so many people find a way to survive in today's world. I THINK I'M VOTING BOB WELLS FOR PRESIDENT !!!!
I want to thank bob Wells for video - it is life saving from homelessness for so many poople who have a car, but cannot afford an accommodation. Yes, it is possible to live in a car, have a comfortable sleep and eat well. Smallesr vehicles means less petrol costs and less parking place and this is a huge advantage. Again, huge appreciation to Bob who helps people to survive on much lower incomes. Thank you many times!
Bob, i can’t thank you enough for this video. My 89yo father gave me his Toyota Vitz ( same as the Yaris but imported from Japan). This New Zealand summer I’m test driving van /car life - I’m taking 4 months off work to travel NZ & live in my car - this is exactly what I will do. Thank you 🙏
I got a toyota echo, same as yaris but maybe smaller. I took all seats out and need to tint windows its not stealth but with a 1000w converter I can watch tv in bed. Its not bad : / a fancy cotton rug and makes the area look nice.
One thing I think which would make this build even better is to leave the hole on the right hand side of the bench seat empty so that you can sit upright with your feet down there. It also makes getting into the car through that door easier. There would still have to be a panel to close it off when sleeping. You'd lose some storage space but it is nice to be able to sit upright in a chair type of position. Perhaps allowing one of those floor panels to be propped up to form a backrest when sitting at that spot could be a nice addition too.
I am so ready to pitch my 2nd row seats of my Sienna after watching this. 3rd row is stow-and-go so what do I need those 2nd row seats for? I'm inspired.
I used to have a honda odyssey and my seats, except the front ones were gone. Love it but, when it broke down wow it really cost a lot to fix. That van came with practically all the bells and whistles.
I had to live in my car for a while and the biggest problem was not being able to lay flat and stretch my legs. This video shows how to make that possible. Excellent video and great solution to the economic situation for a lot of people these days.
Yes, the economy is going bankrupt and a lot more people are going to need to live out of their cars because that is all they may have as homes are outrageously priced because the US government allows the rich corporations and elites of the whole world to come over here and buy up our houses and apartments and farmlands and then gauge Americans rent. Americans need to demand that Congress pass laws making it illegal for foreigners and foreign corporations to buy American real property or corporations.
I love love love this. I find myself constantly being more and more drawn to the most simplistic things and constantly down sizing. From a house, to a big aptmt, to a really tiny one (apx 200sqft). Now my high top cargo van is coming in a few days but I'm more and more thinking I'll just build it out (for the fun of the build as I adore building stuff), sell it, and get something much much smaller for myself. This was awesome to watch. Just awesome. I think I just found my future "rig". ❤
This build inspired me to do something similar With my Prius Wagon. I removed all the seats and inserted covered plywood on the floor that I used as a platform for a bed. The tailgate area was converted in to a kitchen and behind the driver's seat was my fridge. Worked great. 👍
I had a two yaris before and they are more roomy than they look form the outside, even with seats in :). My friend borrowed my 18 model 2 years ago and picked up family in nearby town. Full car 5 people where one sit in baby seat, one teen and one between, no issue :). He loved to drive that car he said. ;) Swapped to Nissan Quashqai now to tow my old camper. :D
Well done! I have been living out of my Hyundai Accent for two months now. I took my seats out and have a Kodiak tent broken down where the front seat was. I also have plywood for a bed when I am between campsites. I am still tweaking it, but I am so grateful to have a viable living solution!
Jan, what did you do with the airbag sensor when you removed your front passenger seat? I tried this with my '19 Kia Soul and computer would not allow car to start with front seat airbag disconnected.
@@adventuresofsoulmanandlitt4573 I had no troubles with my car. Red airbag alert icon is always on but that's the only thing that's happened with removing my seat. By the way I'm still going strong almost one year into being a car and tent nomad.
@@nonya68 there are loads of tutorials on TH-cam. Just look up boondocking and finding camp sites. As far as the barking dog problem goes, that's a big negative for you. I would suggest you do some behavioral training and you can look that up on TH-cam as well ☺️
No I didn’t . I would put the steering wheel up then take the head rest off my driver seat , ( used that seat just in case I needed to take off fast) scoot it all the way forward and lay the seat flat . Just used a couple small pillows to kinda even it out and a blanket .
Bob you’re so sweet, I love your enthusiasm for tiny living and your upbeat explanations, nothing is ever so bad if you’re showing us what to do. You’re a real gem.😁xx.
Bob, I love that you got out the tape measure. As someone who is taller (6'1) when I watch a small car or minivan demonstration I always want to know the interior width, floor length, and floor to ceiling height. Thanks again for another informative video.
I'm 6'1 as well and honestly don't feel like I'm super tall but literally every time I see someone make a video like this they're always like well I'm 5'7 and I fit perfectly that 6 in can make a big difference
On man, I have a 2015 Honda Fit and even with the seats just folded down it's a shocking amount of room. I've camped with my 55lb dog in it comfortably and moved insane amounts of stuff in it! The Honda Fit has some great hooks too. This was a great video! Thank you!
I've seen this video many times. I just love how everything is so organized and has minimal clutter. Very cool. If some day I decide to live in my car, I'd love to build it like that.
That's great to have a bed area, that one lady that has her own channel and has a SUV but sleeps in drivers seat needs to do something like this. I think sleeping with your legs down like that could cause blood clots, at least that is what they tell you about flying. I think no matter what, make a bed in your vehicle!!!
this gives me some hope, I have been living with my family but once my sibling is old enough I have to move out but can't afford an RV or to rent a space, this is possible
MsCheapchick.. Start to prepare from now. Save where you can and what you can, no matter how small. Look at storage solutions and other necessary items and try to catch sales. If necessary, hide them away so no one gets nosy and starts to figure out what you are up to, in case you want to keep your plans to yourself. May God bless you abundantly. 🙏
Because of this video, I had my nephew do a build like this in my Nissan Cube. I'm not traveling until September but am now getting everything to organize it.
I thought I’d need something I could stand up in, but cleaning out my rav last week reminded me how much room I already have. I love the idea of removing seats!
Wow! Amazing build! A very creative and completely viable option for those with a small hatchback. The clever storage ideas alone can carry over to nomads across the board. It ALWAYS a great idea to make the most of the space we have and to keep the overall weight as light as possible to save on fuel consumption. Very impressive. BTW, if you haven’t heard it in a while, Bob, you are certainly making a huge difference for so many sharing all of these great ideas.
I would go insane in such a small place. Even a minivan is too small for more then a weekend trip. I'll give him this, he made the most of what he had.
I'm fascinated by making tiny spaces work. It really makes you have to be creative and use your problem solving skills. Good video Bob. 😊 Michele, Pittsburgh
I have a 2019 Chevy Spark. I'm 62 and can get social security now for over $1,000 a month. I also have VA medical. No debts except the $224 car payment for another five years. I now just have to draw up my design for my build. This video gives me confidence.
Your friend's small home is extremely functional and comfortable for his needs, both personally and professionally. I liked hearing the measurements of his space. Oftentimes camera angles don't display the true nature of reality-based space but hearing or measuring 4ft or 7ft is much more relatable to me. Big Thank You for that! Until now I had no idea how a small car could be so practical for anyone to live in. It certainly seems to work well for your friend. Safe Travels to you both.
I never thought about taking the seats out. I have a minivan and if I took the back and far back seats I would have 4 deep pockets. I just need to even the floor like he did. I wouldn't even need an RV. That saved me some money and space. Thank you.
One thing i have been seeing more of these days is a luggage rack, on top of cars for more storage or for carrying your spare tire in, giving you more storage inside the vehicle
I took the seats out of a 1996 Ford Escort Wagon and did a very similar build. I had a lot more space but filled it up! I did a 6,500 mile tour in the States over a 4 month period in the rig. I did carry a tent though for cooking, body essentials, and changing clothes. It was almost impossible to change clothes in the car. I averaged 43mpg on that trip and was very comfortable.
I had a ‘95 Tracer wagon 5 speed. Was the best car I’ve ever owned. I was always amazed at how much cargo space it had for such a little car. Ford really knew what they were doing when those were built.
I love the table, I got mine while in recovery from cancer treatments. Awesome as the top rotates from flat to the perfect angle to view movies on my tablet and wont slide off!
My Prius v wagon has over 7' with the front seat forward, and much more space/height than a regular Prius. The front seats pulled forward lay back w/out headrest to the all the way back rear seats that recline.... instant lounge chairs!. The "v" is for versatile. MPG low to mid 40's, and battery power 24/7. Just don't try to go down any really rough roads; ground clearance is not it's thing. Thanks for the video, Bob!
I just rented a corrola (ice version) for a cross country sprint... and it got between 44 and 48 consistantly combined through mountains with a stellar 55 Mpg on one leg. I'd imagine the hybrid version though more of a slug with the 1.6 v the 1.8 should beat that especially in combined city driving. and yeah it's got a very low profile the front of the car cant even clear a typical parking block so you can pull all the way into a parking space.
I've recently removed the rear seats from my car, it's a Nissan Note & converted it into a camper-car. No building & nothing is fixed to the car. I used plywood to create a level floor & glued some insulation to the underside (I live in the UK lol) then carpet on top of the wood. I use a foam chair-bed to sleep & sit on. I have a camping toilet, cooking area, chill out area & still plenty of creative storage space. It all works perfectly well & love it. I don't live in it, I use it for camping as I can't use a tent. I also just bought a second hand roof box from facebook marketplace to store my outdoor chair & table, firewood, BBQ & the usual car stuff that I don't need all the time. It's brilliant & barely cost me anything at all as most of the things I already had at home, it was only the wood & the roof box that I had to buy & I enjoyed the whole process.
Now that is pretty darn amazing. Anyone could create something like this. Great fuel saving, touring vehicle, easy to park anywhere. Use this kind of setup to get between workaway projects and never stop touring North America!
If you only seen my excited face and body as you were doing this, I have already done it to my little car, minus the solar, and it has worked like a charm. I sleep in my hammock when camping with friends in private lands but on my own I'm in my vehicle just like this and my car was mentioned in the list. It was as if you tooted my own accomplishments in how I made do with what works. After many surgery's and rehab and no longer in wheelchair I'm blessed beyond words and Bob you are a grand inspiration to us all.
Hi bob! I am planning to buy a small car like this size and make a similar build like this, but i would only make the sleeping platform and keep the area behind the driver seat a bit free. So i can sit on the bed platform facing the left side and make something like a desk / kitchen on the left side, but keep some space for my legs. This way, i can make a bucket size hole in the bed platform with a lid, so i can hang a bucket with a plastic bag underneath the bed, creating a toilet system in the car. The bed platform wil be able to recline upwards to be able to lounge as well. It is still an idea, but i want to buy a cheap old car for this to try and test it out. 😁
FINALLY! a sub compact car build like I have (I own a Chevy Spark). Im only gonna camp out of it part time, but its still nice to know I can do it with this type of space.
How cool!!!! Thank you. My dad had a book that had things like this that people were doing back in the 1950s that I used to look at. Then we got a converted bus when I was a kid and we went all over in that, sometimes with my grandma, so 4 kids, mom, dad and grandma! We went to the bathroom on a thing that had a seat and garbage bag under it, or just outside sometimes. Easy-peasy.
I have a Mini Cooper & that of doing just that, but have never seen it accomplished. Great build & very smart move with housing as crazy as it is now. Comments to the owner, he understands many things.
I had a vauxhall Opel estate 7 seater- took middle seats out - and then sat in drivers side read seat in the day with 6ft off legroom ( I am 5.ft 4) and then I had a camp bed on the passenger side which I could stretch out in and had storage underneath. Roof Box with solar and electrics in and also storage. Lived in that for a few months then got a van but boy was it comfortable! (blacked out windows too and a black out curtain for the front seats.
That's awesome.I lived in a 97 Honda passport for about 9 months.but now I've gotten my self a GMC VANDURA, very happy with it now especially now that I'll be traveling with a 90 lb pit bull. She takes up more room than me just about. Your friends car looks awesome.
I have an SUV, when I got bump on my front end, I was the 6th victim of a young lady. So I decided to take out the back double seat. Gave me lots of room on one side to sleep and room for two coolers one for food one for clutter. Clothes in a hanging closet bag. Kept the sleeping area on the floor with padding. Still allows for 2 passengers. When I go to the lake at a camp ground I put up a 2 man tent but still usually sleep in the car. I usually feel safer when alone. If your over 65 you can camp with a state park pass or national park pass for 1/2 price. Can have up to 5 other people at your site, great fun with the grand kids.
I have a 2018 Toyota Yaris ia. I'm 5'2". Last Summer I had a few people decide to vandalize my home while I was going through chemo and radiation treatments. It got so bad I camped in my car for a few weeks in a friend's orchard. I can put the front seat down in the lowest position and sleep ok. I used 2 clothes baskets and a popcorn bowl to store what I needed. Clothes, toiletries and water in 1. The other my cast iron griddle and skillet, food, a few bowls with lids, utensils and silverware. The bowl I put ice in and used it for yogurt. I have an older 1 gallon thermos jug I've used for years to put ice in and store cut veg like carrots. The area I camped has plenty of local produce. I was ok with canned meat, veg and fruit. It can be done.
KUDOS!!! I've watched a ton of these conversion videos and this one BY FAR's the best. I LOVE the fact Bob actually gives real measurements - so many others just say they bought various items and "cut them down to size." - these are real measurements that tell you how much space you have to work with and that makes a real tangible difference. He may have just sold me on trading my Honda Accord for something that'll work better for me along with exponentially better MPG!
This is great even a dog could fit in this small home. He's really organized and has his food and cold place for sweet tea and he can even get a microwave to put on top of cooler to heat up food he has. No stove but that's ok. I have one but use my microwave a lot. I am so proud of him for making the change and all your help to show us. God bless you all and stay safe and warm this winter.
Really liked how innovative this is. As a young adult who is about to be kicked out, this is a great way to live! Great video! Love how much respectful his words were.
This is great. If you are looking to do short term camping in an XA you don’t need to remove the seats. You can drop the passenger seat back and make a cheap platform. I use a milk crate and very cheap desktop from ikea as a base with a camping pad. Great little cars.
Bob! Long time fan, your channel inspired me to do this to my car before I had even seen any tiny car conversions. Will be car living full time soon, this video has some great tips. Thanks again as always
Am I the only one that has noticed Bob’s beautiful skin? It’s been awhile since I have caught his videos. But I’m just noticing he has some pretty fabulous skin.🌸🌺
I'm in a ford.focus hatchback. Nothing has been removed! In daytime driving mode you can't see a thing except the top of the chest fridge sitting behind the passenger seat on the floor (though you don't know what it is), the front seat organizers (which are very neat and plain), the 4 lb dog's small puff pillow and the solar panels on the top of the car which you assume are part of the hybrid alternative fuel system. No one would ever guess this car is lived in 24/7.
It doesn't seem right that a surplus of Billionaires are struggling to become Trillionaires while the rest of us are learning to live in a car. But I'm not complaining. Great video Bob.
The economy isn’t a zero sum game where there is X amount of pie to divide up. Millionaires and billionaires create jobs and wealth, most millionaires are 1st generation. The government taking from producers and promising to give it to the masses just makes the producers take their marbles and go home.
My HHR folds down all the way up to the passenger front seat. No seats need to be taken out and you get around 8 ft of space. I camp out in the back woods in the summer ! I camp out closer to home where I can run electric heater in the winter! Stealth camping is my future goal!
Thank your friend for sharing his genius build. I recently had to travel and sleep in my Dodge Charger for a family emergency. The seats are bulky and don't fold. It was miserable. I'm pulling the seats out A.S.A.P..
I know this video was 2.5 years ago, but it really helped me. I want to get a minivan to travel, But it's unfortunately not feasible right now so I'm looking at doing little trips In my Hyundai accent hatchback… All the ideas here have helped so much in my planning! Thanks Bob and the person who made this design!
CONGRATS !! REALLY OFFERS COMFORT. I am brought: to BE this. Just days away from starting my - Build, living, camping and road tripping!! Thanks again, Inspired To BE Outside. Opportunity continues.
Great, great video, Bob. While I'd sure never buy a car this small, the concept is certainly adaptable to larger vehicles of all sorts. What an outstanding "idea factory" this video is! All the best from Ohio. -Greg
I was thinking of a Toyota Yaris as a great car to live out of next, and this nails it. I really like how taking seats out allows storage to keep center of gravity lower than if car is packed with the seats in. Lived in my 2013 Camry for 18 months while working with seats, and that was my biggest issue. Use those cloth containers too. Much obliged
That is pretty spacious. I like the trunk box because it looks a little rigid. Take care Bob. The money people can save by doing this in this economy has to be good. I bought my 2012, 40K mile Transit and hope to be in Arizona this summer. My husband always wanted to take me to the Grand Canyon, but I lost him and this has always been my dream even when he was alive. Thanks to him, I can do this while keeping my home and having my dogs cared for, all but one. Bella goes with me. Son and brother live with me, now need to keep doing research on where to camp. Those channel is my go to guy.
I am about to become homeless and have a car similar to this one. With the stress of no job or home coming at me, I could not think on how to convert it into a small camper until I found this build. Thank you for documenting this video. I now have an idea of how I can convert my car simply. Hopefully, it will be a short term issue and I will be able to find a job.
Full sized outdoor lounge chair pads make a nice bed, especially if firmer is okay. Then it can fold into a chair position also. Needs support for the back rest but it works great!
The plastic in those flex panels, especially the cheap over-rated ones, just really decomposes fast in UV light: it becomes both brittle and easily breakable and the surface of the plastic becomes more opaque and the sunlight has more trouble getting through. I had a small one, about 10 watts (falsely rated at 20 or 25 watts) and it didn't last more than a year used fairly intermittantly in Northern California sunshine. The more expensive flex panels probably aren't worth it either. I like the bi-facial panels because the backing can't fail because it doesn't have backing and if you have a metallic or white paint surface under the panel you will get more solar energy in less space. I don't know how heavy bi-facial are though, if weight is an issue. (This is a great build! It is fantastic how much room is in small cars when you take out all the seats.)
I've been pondering several ideas for my Fiat 500 convertable; this is better than any of mine; thank-you. Little Fiat you are about to be transformed.
I would leave the front passenger seat bottom piece there. And store the top piece under the bed area storage. That way you always have a front seat to assemble in case . Keep that front seat in the car. I think 🤔
I've seen few videos from this channel and can say Bob is very very helpful in giving his ideas about living in cars Vans etc also I find his videos are very informative for anyone planning this life style. I will definitely share his videos too. Again, thanks Bob your great videos. 👌👍🙏😊
Hi Bob! Thanks for showing this car build. Another great video! Thanks for showing the car empty then with everything inside. Alot of great info. This guy is such a natural on camera. Probably because there's no vanity, no ego, he's just talking to his mates; us.
That’s a good idea!
I do that with house sitting. My dog and I live out of my PT cruiser on the days/weeks I’m not booked, and use my time during my seats to clean out the car, enjoy some good showers (hopefully a hot tub too) and prepare for the next jaunt.
It’s great.

Just discovered him, I wholeheartedly agree, this guy is great.
It doesn't hurt that he looks like Santa. lol
Ok, Santa maybe but slimmer & much better looking!
That was the most cleanest, organized, awesome small car conversion EVER!
Bob, just in case you've not been told this lately, you are an angel.
Hope you have a safe and amazing adventure. I would LOVE to do the same. Hubby thinks I'm nuts because I keep asking to move to NZ. 😎
@mrsbutterkup3849 going to New Zealand is a must. You would love it there. I did live in the Bay of Islands for 7yrs and thinking of going back.
Good idea! But make it a flex space. Store stuff while driving or sleeping but move it to sit up with your feet down in the well.
Very awesome idea!!
Well done. I have a mini van with the seats removed. It is spacious. I call it my Condo-minimum.

We need a video of your Prius build!
@@a.wilcox5690oh definitely
I never thought I’d hear “enormous amount of space” in the same video as a Yaris!
Lol yes you did.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
i live in my hyundai accent its just as small, they can be big
I had a two yaris before and they are more roomy than they look form the outside, even with seats in :). My friend borrowed my 18 model 2 years ago and picked up family in nearby town. Full car 5 people where one sit in baby seat, one teen and one between, no issue :). He loved to drive that car he said. ;) Swapped to Nissan Quashqai now to tow my old camper. :D
I'm super impressed by people that create a living space in their own car.
@@jancross516 how do I find the campsites. I have 2 small dogs that will bark at everything. I need to stay close but far away from foot traffic.
@@nonya68 there are loads of tutorials on TH-cam. Just look up boondocking and finding camp sites. As far as the barking dog problem goes, that's a big negative for you. I would suggest you do some behavioral training and you can look that up on TH-cam as well ☺️
@@adventuresofsoulmanandlitt4573
Cut the air bag out of the passenger seat and leave it under the new bed platform [connected] that you will build.
I lived for almost a year in my Honda Fit and let me tell you that it super roomy , don’t let the small size deceive you
I have a Fit, interesting. Did you take out the front passenger seat?
No I didn’t . I would put the steering wheel up then take the head rest off my driver seat , ( used that seat just in case I needed to take off fast) scoot it all the way forward and lay the seat flat . Just used a couple small pillows to kinda even it out and a blanket .
@@aquagirl5149 Thanks!
Thank you!
Honda Fits are Great Cars/Lots of room and run forever/I have 166K on my 07 and as strong as day one....
Did you take out the front passenger seat?
I hv one also...I bought the blow up mattress bed and once I drop the backseats i fit perfectly
I've seen this video many times. I just love how everything is so organized and has minimal clutter. Very cool. If some day I decide to live in my car, I'd love to build it like that.
Bob, I love how you present someone’s home (that happens to be in a car) with such dignity.
That's great to have a bed area, that one lady that has her own channel and has a SUV but sleeps in drivers seat needs to do something like this. I think sleeping with your legs down like that could cause blood clots, at least that is what they tell you about flying. I think no matter what, make a bed in your vehicle!!!
I didn't have blood clots, but my feet swelled up due to circulation issues when sleeping in my front seat.
Bob Wells you are the man. You changed my way of pondering. Rv will be my new life.
this gives me some hope, I have been living with my family but once my sibling is old enough I have to move out but can't afford an RV or to rent a space, this is possible
What's a sibling?)
@@fredzag2452 It means a brother or sister.
You can do it... it's a mind set
I was going to live in a RAV too
amazing build well planned..he deserves the CheapRVliving Gold Star.
Genius!!! Not only a tech guy but an engineer! I would not have thought it was possible! Makes my Subaru OUtback look like it could be a mansion!
He’s made his build EXTREMELY efficient!
As someone who lives part-time in an old Subie Outback, I am blown away by this build. Thank you for showcasing it. Awesome set up!
This is a very thought out build! I love the lightweight cubes and the finger holes in the plywood floor. Thanks for sharing!
I have a 20 year old station wagon. I'm going to attempt this leaving the front passenger seat in place. Thanks Bob.
I never thought about taking the seats out. I have a minivan and if I took the back and far back seats I would have 4 deep pockets. I just need to even the floor like he did. I wouldn't even need an RV. That saved me some money and space. Thank you.
I'm always amazed that people can have a refrigerator & also cook in their vehicles!!
For a given footprint, a wagon can't be beat VS sedan or crossover in terms of efficiency, space/volume, and driving performance.
My first car was 1998 for escort wagon I still loved that car
Ive seen on this channel a 350lb woman change clothes\ go to the bathroom in a bucket and clean hersel! In a Prius!
Just goes to show people these days are under the impression that we need loads of stuff to survive, we really don't, thanks Bob
I converted my Mazda 6 removing the seats, I got even a bmx bicycle and painter's tools including a 6 ft ladder!
This is a great and imaginative build. Quite amazing how much room he recovered by removing the seats.
God bless you! These builds can help people on a fixed income stay mobile housed.
People amaze me how creative they can be.
Would LOVE to see something like this in a bigger car. This was a great one, Bob. Loved it!
Jealous?
Here we are, 4 years later and things are about to get really worse for the most of us! WTF did we get here! 😳 I hope I am overreacting!
Great little project, well described and a positive spin for those being forced to adjust. Could prove to be actually liberating in some ways
Thank your friend for sharing his genius build. I recently had to travel and sleep in my Dodge Charger for a family emergency. The seats are bulky and don't fold. It was miserable. I'm pulling the seats out A.S.A.P..
I'm loving this man's system and I'm blown away with his organization items.
Question: does he feel the need to insulate for temperature control?
I know this video was 2.5 years ago, but it really helped me. I want to get a minivan to travel, But it's unfortunately not feasible right now so I'm looking at doing little trips In my Hyundai accent hatchback… All the ideas here have helped so much in my planning! Thanks Bob and the person who made this design!

This is a wonderful ideal for my veteran disabled hubby can travel 960 miles to see his father and still be able to rest in a car
Great, great video, Bob. While I'd sure never buy a car this small, the concept is certainly adaptable to larger vehicles of all sorts. What an outstanding "idea factory" this video is! All the best from Ohio. -Greg
Please thank your friend for sharing his creative ideas with us!
I am planning to convert my mitsubishi outlander into a seasonal home and love watching these car conversions. This video is one of my favourites.
I see & hear your genuine care & kindness u share to help people have a better life. Thanks
Another incredible build! Thanks again Bob for bringing fresh ideas, and insight to the adventure!
Amazing the space you can get out of a small vehicle if you remove all the unnecessary stuff, well done.
Those channel is my go to guy.
the best you have ever done. it lets people get a newer dependable cheaper way to go.
Wishing you good luck in the future...
Absolutely brilliant Bob, food for thought. Thanks from an old friend. Jack.
Full sized outdoor lounge chair pads make a nice bed, especially if firmer is okay. Then it can fold into a chair position also. Needs support for the back rest but it works great!
Yes, this does give me hope as to what's possible and that I can have a decent lifestyle regardless of challenges I'm dealing with, thank you Bob!
Friend is very organized. Good space use and layout.
Hi Bob! Thanks for showing this car build. Another great video! Thanks for showing the car empty then with everything inside. Alot of great info. As you know with the '08 Recession and now Covid19 causing millions to lose their jobs, these videos are life savers. I'm sure you've gotten a lot more people coming to you for help. Glad to see you're in good health and keep doing what you do.💕
