That GT4 is being wasted in his hands. If he can't get it round corners, sell it to someone who can.
@@consideredthoughts1791 Accurate comment.
To be fair, the Porsche was being held up by traffic for most of the lap. At the end where it wasn't being held up by traffic there was a decent gap between the Porsche and the Yaris.
I totally believe this. Spent a track day with the local Porsche club- virtually none of those guys could drive. One guy was a real flier but the rest were pretty much posers. Money can buy speed but doesn't necessarily make you a fast driver.
loved the video! great experience and 2k experience is amazing its just like real life
Great lap, thought with ESP completely off would be better (you had it in expert mode and seemed to intervene plenty of times)
The light flashes but I didn't notice anything. It's mainly over bumps where there is a wheel loosing traction on its own 👍
3 cylinder beast... 👍
This track stuff looks amazing and fun! And well done!
Also, seeing the revs, I don't feel bad now for spanking my 2000 Ford Fiesta 1.4 engine to try compensate for no guts in city driving! 😂
As many others have said. This is a clear case of the driver makes the car. That being said, the GR Yaris is very impressive. It looks like it handles the edge of grip well, and has plenty of power to be competitive with most vehicles.
That vauxhall/Opel Nova had a fair bit of poke on the straights considering its age.💯
Very smooth yaris driver👍
Excellent driving! Watching that Porsche was as boring as driving an automatic on a bright sunny day 🤡😂
Thank you 🙏
Or like driving a manual on a cold, rainy day.
@@name5293 cold is when the boost kicks in, rainy makes for some slides. Sounds like a good time to me
@@name5293 You can slide an old power-less car on a rainy day with a manual...I wouldnt say thats boring :D throwing out the rear end is never boring.
They cannot stand that a Japanese hatchback gets over them, that's it!
Driving toyota in germany is people making crazy especially fast one
A very nice onboard, very good quality. Can you write down the exact parameters with which cameras were you shooting it?
Sure. GoPro 10, ProTune high bitrate, flat color, with medium sharpen. Color corrected in post, and I added a bit of sharpness because it felt soft. 5k 60FPS.
@@GreatMotors Thank you. The camera with the image directed at the clocks is also the same?
@@GONISMO ah no, that's a very old but reliable GoPro Hero 3+ Black. 1080p, 60fps, ProTune, Medium Sharp, Flat color.
@@GreatMotorsHow is the self-leveling and vibration-free image achieved? Gimbal mount?
@@VictorKhong88 GoPro stabilization. But actually I like it better without. I find that the stabilization dampers the sense of speed.
Excellent driving. Drove safely at all times while pushing hard.
I really admire your cool head man. I was racing ages ago a lancer evo 6, was 580hp strong but honestly : i just could stay so nice like you for so long.. Probably I had knocked in on the Porsche's bumper long long ago :)
Cayman driver may have never looked in his/her mirror's the entire lap, anything possible😅
Worrisome 🫣
He is ashamed of getting overtaken by yaris gr
@@jetonbalisha5400 could be worse, like getting overtaken by a VW Up!
Porsche Fahrer machen keinen Platz. Soll er am Abend beim Bier zugeben, daß er von einem Toyota Yaris versägt wurde ?
718 GT4 High performance car, low performance driver
I love the German guy talking about that turn having a lot of crashes
Portuguese guy trying to talk German 😅. Schwedenkreuz is tricky with all the weight transfer.
@@GreatMotors 😂 sounds great even then
Hätte nicht gedacht, dass der Yaris dermassen abgeht. Respekt ! Well done...
Danke dir 🤘
Typical BMW driver …. 🙄
Best Nordshleife dash cam I've seen. Great lines too!
For a guy driving that car so damn slowly, they sure didn't want to get outta the way! Every mechanical advantage on the track, and yet.
GR Yaris getting it. Good driving and without the passenger and stickier rubber maybe you wouldn't have had to work so hard but you earned that.
Thank you 🙏
Great feeling watching this video!
🫶
Somehow not surprised..
That Yaris is a beast.
And the cornering......
Again not surprised
💪 yaris is mega!
Looked like so much fun staying right on him like a cat & mouse run!
Nice racing
Great driving you're impressive, as is your car. Thanks for the video !
Love the sound of the Toyota tuned gr engine.. Good job Toyota.. Your can probably take my money( at the right time)!!!!!
Glad to see respectful driver, everyone has the right to drive slow or fast as they want.
After all.... we all love cars and just want to have fun.
