the jedi order should have seen him as an example of what a jedi truly was. he rejected the dark side instead viewed it as necessary and that the truth was balance. light and dark both as one. the force itself is neither light nor dark but also is light and dark at the same time. in reality the force is what it deems necessary to be and these are why force nexuses exist, often they all prove to be great teachers. a darkside nexus is a place teeming with life and the dark side both and they all often prove to be great teachers for powerful jedi. Yoda's cave being one of Luke's greatest lessons and this planet in the comic is Qui-gon's greatest lesson. the force does not create dark side nexuses for no reason at all, every one of them was always a powerful lesson if one opens themself to it and willing to learn. the force may create many other dark side nexuses for force sensitives or jedi to find who are probably fated to create massive ripples in the universe. if Qui-gon didn't find this nexus he probably wouldn't later search for the whills and learn to manifest his consciousness in the force after death

This is really nice. Balance. I think dark side greatly respected Qui-Gon to. And that means something. Qui-Gon is a true Jedi. May the Force be with you too😊
Qui-gon is concerned on how people view the Jedi, He wasn't in the living force yet he was a force ghost, being closely connected to those he cares about, his natural side is bothered on how others view himself and the rest of the jedi, he wants the people know what the Jedi really are(Guardians of peace) are strong protectors, yet the people of that galaxy only know that they protect, do negotiations, yet more rare amount of people know what the real Jedi supposed to be based on actions. Anything safe and natural plantlife growing is sharing life, the beautiful part of the planet found it's way in the "canvas" a new planet that I never knew existed.
A few jedi who tried to study it was what caused the first great divide between the order in turn creating the sith order, so I seriously doubt they would ever try doing this
Perhaps he did some research about the sith in his time despite some things in their library that are on the forbidden list. The Jedi should see knowledge about how to be ready to deal with the dark side. To quote Odin from Marvel " A wise King never seeks War, but he must always be ready for it"
I love Qui-Gonn. He was a true servant of The Force. Also… he followed his own heart & path. Master Qui-Gonn would’ve been the perfect father figure & Master for Anakin.
Awesome story! Was not familiar with this one. The implications are profound if he had lived to be Anakin's master. That would be an outstanding "What if?", in light of this story.
Probably a terrible way to put this but I feel like Yoda may have actually been one of the biggest detriments to the Jedi overall. He was strong in the ways of the light side of the force but his focus was pretty narrow and he tended to project that on both those he taught and the Jedi as a whole. And the fact that he was so respected and well thought of as being the "Ideal" Jedi, seemed to reinforce the rigidity that the Jedi had started to find themselves wallowing in. It's honestly surprising how many famous Jedi that he taught or was close to became Dark side users or just outright went bad. That being said, I still like the tiny monk and think he really did show Luke a good foundation once he had reached the end of his days and was able to properly reflect on life. Also, Qui-Gon is who definitely should have had the most hand in training Anakin. The Sith really blew that one.
He stayed in control of the order for too long and couldn’t see that the galaxy, the jedi, and how the Jedi were perceived was changing in a negative way. He so bound by the traditions of old that he failed to see the real problems that right in front of them for too long. Such as the fact the Jedi order had a very unhealthy attachment to the Republic, not the Force in itself
04:00 The coordinates the force gave him then crashed him into a tower next to its twin. Allahuakbar one must believe in the force Hadji Muhammed Jinn🤲
The Stupendous wave what if Anakin Skywalker was reborn with all his memories, powers, and abilities it all starts after he dies on the Death Star the force itself takes him to the world between worlds and give him a chance to rectify and undo everything he did He is dead reborn as his young self on episode one with all his memories, powers and abilities, and uses if we’re good to save qui gon his mother and others what do you think?
I hate the whole idea of grey Jedi. Is the light side and the Darkside that's it that's the way Lucas planned it. Qui-Gon Jinn is the epitome of what all Jedi should be! He and Darth Maul on my two favorite characters in the entire Saga episodes 1 through 6. The Phantom Menace holds a very special place in my heart.
Im assuming to be considered a grey you would use both sides of the force which Qui-Gon doesn't, im interested to hear what other people think about that
I think Qui-Gon is the real chosen one. He’s the one that found and brought Anakin to the Jedi, which ultimately brought him to the sith. Qui-Gon delivered balance to the force.
as yoda learned in season 6 of star wars the clone wars there is no light without dark and there is no dark without light and that we percive as the dark side and all its corruption is simply one's own dark side and darksiders pollute the force by putting anger and hate into it. in truth the force is neither light nor dark but it is balanced except for the fact those who peruse the dark side and those who peruse the light tip the balance. when light and dark side nexuses are found, it is all to often they are places those sensitive with the force can learn greater lessons though what these lessons are is up to the individual.
That fear of hyperspace is kind of nonsense. Youre infinitely more likely to hit absolutely nothing. You're not going to end up in a star or crashing into a black hole.. (backwards?)
Assuming quigon was actually a grey jedi what color would his lightsaber be? Unless im missing something and green is inherently a grey color to begin with all along.
I think grey Jedi sabres are white not 100% tho, cause to be a grey Jedi means touching both the light and dark, white sabers are made from “purified” red crystals so maybe on the way to become a grey Jedi you bleed your crystal red than heal it signifying balance? Someone please offer better explanation I’m going off of knowledge I had years ago idk what’s new and canon or wtf
Most people forget the true origins of the jedi and sith orders. Tython is the home of a order of force users calling themselves jedii. They practice balance between light and dark sides of the. It was when they were invaded by another civilisation strong in the darkside of the force that things would begin to change. Eventually the first schism happened and what would eventually go on to become the jedi and sith orders respectively began. However my knowledge is somewhat limited so my advice is to seek knowledge and understanding from as many sources as possible if you want to be as informed as possible. Kind regards from Daniel Harman.
Have you done a proper video on balance in the force? Because I legitimately don't understand it. Why would the light ever want balance with the dark? The dark is bad, the dark corrupts so how can you find balance with it? It was always my understanding that the 'light side' was the force and dark side was just a perversion of the natural force.
I think the idea is that either side of the force can corrupt you. Finding balance is about allowing yourself to feel the full range of emotions, whilst also remaining disciplined enough to show restraint.
@@Lolstupidity how does the light corrupt? The word corruption in and of itself has negative connotations. And even if it does corrupt is that a bad thing? Star wars is still very light is good dark is bad so taking that into account I'm trying to figure out why anyone would want to not be 100% good. And of course I'm not saying that everyone that utilizes the light side is an untouchable paragon of goodness, I'm simply saying that the light in and of itself is good and all the powers and benefits it provides are beneficial and selfless whereas the dark side is selfish and power hungry
@@CelticShaman. you can see how the light corrupts by looking at the Jedi of the prequel trilogy. They were so disciplined and restrained, that they refused to acknowledge their emotions. This also resulted in them refusing to help those in need, simply because it went against the Jedi code, or the wishes of the Republic senate.
@@CelticShaman. I think the narrator put it best. QGJ didn't go to the dark side, but he was aware of it, to the point of understanding it has a place/function/existence. The 100% full jedi were so caught up in their rules and traditions, they missed the dark right in front of them, literally in the same room. The Force showed QGJ things because he sought them out, and trusted the Force. The Jedi were religious zealots that were trying to make the Force serve them. Yoda realized this, eventually, as we see when he is training Luke.
@@jaythor70 but the Jedi were full of themselves specifically because they were not following the will of the force. That didn't have anything to do with being too full of the light. In fact had they been more full of the light things might not have gone down the way they did. But they did not listen to the force and only listened to themselves which I think doesn't answer my original question. The reason the Jedi of the clone wars failed is not because they were corrupted by the light but because they lacked it to begin with.
I’m always guarded when I hear canon. Disney continues to make up stories to explain things without understanding. Like how did Leia know her mother was beautiful? Duh she thought her adoptive mother was her real mother.
What if Darth Vader went back to the time of the ancient sith and eventually went back to his own time with the ancient sith knowledge to kill Lord sidouse
Quite hyprocritical for the Jedi to judge one another regarding approaching the dark side when two of the best Jedi that ever lived (Yoda, Qui-Gon) actually did explore de dark side...
I disagree. This comic is not about Qui-Gon learning from the dark side or combining both the light side and the dark side. Rather, it illustrates that in the pursuit of fighting the dark side, a Jedi can commit terrible acts that may cause them to fall to the dark side themselves. Jedi must avoid becoming warriors and instead follow the will of the Force, as Qui-Gon did. The dark side of the Force can be destroyed not only through battle but also through compassion, enabling those who have fallen to the dark side to return to balance and the light side. This is symbolized by the beautiful red flower that blooms from plants cured of the corruption of the dark side.

Obi-wan is the perfect jedi always following the code exactly
Anything safe and natural plantlife growing is sharing life, the beautiful part of the planet found it's way in the "canvas"
a new planet that I never knew existed.
The Jedi Order were too busy fighting the Dark side when they should've just studied it in to know Balance.
A few jedi who tried to study it was what caused the first great divide between the order in turn creating the sith order, so I seriously doubt they would ever try doing this
One of the greatest back stories and philosophy’s I’ve heard
This guy should've never been killed. He's the only that understands the nature of the force and how one should conduct themselves.
Absolutely FANTASTIC! Video. Incredibly insightful.
Qui Gon studied the dark side to learn from it.. while the other Jedi tried to suppress it
Well done on this.
Perhaps he did some research about the sith in his time despite some things in their library that are on the forbidden list. The Jedi should see knowledge about how to be ready to deal with the dark side.
To quote Odin from Marvel " A wise King never seeks War, but he must always be ready for it"
Qui Gon Jinn is the definition of what it means to be a jedi
I've never beat a 5 minute mark on one of these videos before! 🎉
There can be no creation without destruction. There can be no destruction without creation.
You can learn from both sides but don't trade your soul for materialistic things

Interesting idea. Perhaps find a Star Wars what if channel and ask them to do it. This channel is a lore channel.
This is so cool! I love Qui Gon Jinn
Excellent video.
Thank you very much!
Has been my brothers favorite char. Since the prequels xD hes an oldie
Im assuming to be considered a grey you would use both sides of the force which Qui-Gon doesn't, im interested to hear what other people think about that
There is a place for Darkness as in service to Light.
id say more "human" than grey, he had a great humanity to him.
Qui Gon was a gray Jedi
Stupendous Wave please resume making What if Qui Gon Jinn trained Anakin Part 3 🙏
If there ever was or is a human version of the Bando. Master Jinn fits the mold.
It is the will of the force of this, I have no doubt.
You can't win, Darth. Julian, the electrical interferer, doesn't give a f*** about your energy.
Is there any info about shmi skywalker connection to the force
to have the chosen one be born into slavery It seems interesting Like what did it want anakin to learn from that life?
Qui could have stopped palps.
Qui-Gon was in Schindlers list
I need to close my eyes and type in the winning numbers to the next lottery.
8:00 Did they steal that from Star Trek?
Why wouldn't he have told yoda what he learned on that planet? The fact he discovered a new planet?
Qui Gone bye bye👋🏾
That must be the flower yoda was talkin about if u know you know
I think Qui-Gon is the real chosen one. He’s the one that found and brought Anakin to the Jedi, which ultimately brought him to the sith. Qui-Gon delivered balance to the force.
I wonder what it's like to be a force ghost. What do they do all day.
Ayahuasca is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural...
WHAT...
THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS
as yoda learned in season 6 of star wars the clone wars there is no light without dark and there is no dark without light and that we percive as the dark side and all its corruption is simply one's own dark side and darksiders pollute the force by putting anger and hate into it.
in truth the force is neither light nor dark but it is balanced except for the fact those who peruse the dark side and those who peruse the light tip the balance. when light and dark side nexuses are found, it is all to often they are places those sensitive with the force can learn greater lessons though what these lessons are is up to the individual.
Day 363 of asking for a part 3 of what if anakin was trained by qui gon
Qui-Gon is very much what I would be as a Jedi. However,I wouldn't join Jedi or Sith.
That fear of hyperspace is kind of nonsense. Youre infinitely more likely to hit absolutely nothing. You're not going to end up in a star or crashing into a black hole.. (backwards?)
Dark matter
Hard headed yoda was 😂 the Jeti couldn’t see there ancestors did things a certain way with good reason
Who would be the dark-side version of Qui-Gon?
Darth Revan, possibly.
Darth king lord plagues wise is alive he in new movie grandfather skywalker vs palpatine skywalker family it coming to end full circle
I’m always guarded when I hear canon. Disney continues to make up stories to explain things without understanding. Like how did Leia know her mother was beautiful? Duh she thought her adoptive mother was her real mother.
Wassup everyone
When removing invasive knotweed, one must balance the long term ecological benefits, with the immediate risk of erosion
What if Darth Vader went back to the time of the ancient sith and eventually went back to his own time with the ancient sith knowledge to kill Lord sidouse
Qui Gon is one of my faves. Its its trash they killed him
I hate fucking ads
Vinally
Quite hyprocritical for the Jedi to judge one another regarding approaching the dark side when two of the best Jedi that ever lived (Yoda, Qui-Gon) actually did explore de dark side...
imo qui gon is the best jedi of all time. not the most powerful, but i think he is the jedi in the best form
That was Han who said that lol
I think because he want known why dark site and all sith created
Imma say this so some nerd don't say first.
