Amazing Grace--Beautiful song was written in 1772 by John Newton. "Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me, I once was lost but now I'm found, was blind but now I see." This was written because of living a sinful life, but as he read his Bible & reached out to God, he was no longer blind, but could see the Light of Jesus in his life. He did become a pastor.
