- The next instalment of the week is “House Of The Rising Sun”, a traditional folk song made popular by The Animals in 1964.
“This for me was the easiest choice of trad arr songs to pick, an absolute classic and a belter. A vocal you can really sink your teeth into without giving it all away too soon. A throwback to what my dad brought me up listening to and the great era of music that was the 60s when The Animals released this hit”
George Murphy is a singer-songwriter from Dublin, Ireland. He has been in the industry for over 15 years and will be releasing new music very soon with the band “George Murphy and The Rising Sons”.
