This is one of my all time favourite songs, with excellent lyrics, and the great Johnny McEvoy sings a wonderful version. The backing music is top class also. Johnny McEvoy comes from County Offaly, Ireland, and is a legend of Irish music. He has been entertaining audiences in Ireland & abroad since the mid sixties.
