Good work. Unfortunately, the AAA guy we hired (recommended per our realtor) for our home inspection found a mud tube but checked off the box "non-active" and signed off on our roof with hail strike damage and simple repair recommendations for both. Unfortunately, the house came with live termites and needs a new roof. 😕 I wish our AAA had been more thorough.

Ok as far as termites we can only report what we see at the time. If we did an inspection and live termites are found later we will usually treat it for free for you. All you have to do is let us know. As far as a roof having hail damage that is absolutely not something we inspect. That has nothing to do with us. We only do Wood Destroying Insect reports. We are very thorough and stand by our work.

Our home (I think built around 1999-2001) is built with what I would call "Holly-wood".
Our family didn't really wall our basement, but you can see the quality of the build and wood that were used.
Most of the wood that were used are damaged (our house is treated with termidor (fipronil) by a pest co. so its not and I hope not termite damage), some questionable accidental cuts here and there, and every time I go to the basement,
I always think its a miracle that the house didn't come crashing down.
Even the air conditioner guys thinks its a miracle when they saw our attic.

Moisture, mold, termites, powderpost beetles, missing pier, wood destroying fungus, structural damage - this one checks all the bad boxes. It'd be awesome if someone followed up on this house. I wonder how the repair & preventive work was done. I imagine the fee for the work was heart-attack inducing.

That beam was supposed to carry a portion of the floor above. But with that kind of damage, that beam can collapse at any time and a portion of that floor can crush you. Dangerous job!

Hanging dryer vent hose in the background-putting moisture in the crawlspace.

How often would you recommend a home be inspected for termites?

Mwhitehouse99 thank you. I was told by someone you wanna wait until you notice park of your structure about ready to fall down before getting an inspection done and that didn’t make sense to me. Thanks again!
