He may be eluding to price for treatment alone. Cost of repair would be far higher

I had termites in my new restaurant down in the South of France, we bought an old building and then discovered it was attacked by termites. We did a thorough treatment while doing it up but one year we had in the big dining room a swarm of winged termites coming out of a major supporting beam. Had to do a proper job with a specialist to get rid of them. Cost us 5,000 euros 30 years ago!

Presence Of a Few Swarmers Alone Does Not Mean a Infestation.

Why call out a professional when we learned how to do a self check from Dan The Bug Man? They're just going to do the hard sell on Sentricon, something that DTBM said was a scam.

This guy is known across the pest management industry to be a total joke.
He typically has absolutely not clue what he's doing, and what's worse is he's just doing what others have taught him.
Sentricon and Trelona are solid products that kill off colonies around your home. Dan is an idiot.

In this case, what should home owner do ? Wait for soil liquid chemical work(eliminate the whole colony) and repair the house after that? btw, Your videos have been really really helpful for me, thanks from South Korea !

So, if I have drywoid termites & similar baseboard issues, should I inject fripinol foam in the base boards then caulk the hole to get rid of them, then replace base boards once the termite takes poison to the colony if I have only drywood termites? Also, before installing base boards, can I spray Bora Care to the new base boards then paint them? I dont have mud colonies or subterranean according to Hulette, but I will still use Taurus Sc in a trench around the entire house. I plan on getting my tent November 1st when the mating season ends, but I want to treat the rotten base boards & trench the house before November. What do you think Dan & family?

Dan the bug man typically has no clue what he's talking about.
Don't use SC, use Termidor HE. You're on the right track.

Hoping you can help me. I’m having a termite issue and am getting mixed responses from pest control companies. There’s no mud tubes at all, activity is in a bathroom and closet right next to each other. The last two quotes I was given- one said the problem is in the pipes underground, he will drill the floor and flood it with the treatment solution. The other said they will spot treat by doing a trench and using foam in the affected walls. I just don’t know what the best option is, hoping you can please advise me.

Usually home owners don’t call professionals because professionals, lie. A friend of mine’s who just purchased the house had to get there home inspected. The company he hired said that his house had mites which we both knew it didn’t. We got a second opinion and of course there was no signs of termites.

Lucky that’s regular eastern subterranean if it were Formosan termites in that timespan the whole house would be gone they can do that damage in months
