If you ever upgrade the tiny house you could buy a toilet which has a small basin built in on top of the flush system. That way no need to use the kitchen sink after toilet use and therefore more hygienic.

Can’t say the idea of washing my hands on top of the toilet excites me. You would definitely want to close the lid on the commode when you flush. Microscopic droplets can fly when you flush and easily land in and around the sink. ICK!!! It’s not a surprise to hear people end up with
      E. Coli in their system and wonder why. Sanitary would be washing your hands in the kitchen although barely . Raw chicken rinsed in the sink is an invitation for Salmonella germs to be on hard surfaces. Just keeps getting better and better!!

Taking stuff out would be easier to rest on the counter beside it, than placing above on the other; especially if taking out multiple items. The rent cost was half that of a normal 1 bedroom, so it was perfect for a poor, single student. Being less than 5 feet tall was also to my advantage when living in such a small space. I had a lofted bed with a 2 person sofa underneath. My table/desk was a small Korean table that I could put away when not in use. I even had a small washing machine, so I didn't even have to use a coin laundry.

I really like the place. As someone who lived in a suite almost the same size as this for many years. I feel like I have some experience in making some recommendations.
    1) Get a larger fridge. I had a small fridge like the one you have and it was my biggest compliment about the suite I rented. I would always have to be running to the store to get more food and when I meal prepped it made it hard to store my meals. I was a student at the time.
    2) lift the microwave and toaster onto the wall. I love the small shelf above the sink. But I would rather see a larger shelf installed to hold my microwave, toaster and blender or what have you. Maximizing the vertical space in my tiny suite was important and I was fortunate that my place did maximize the vertical wall space well.
    3) That Ikea sofa bed is really bad. I had the exact same one and it lasted about 6 or 8 months before it cut the bolts in half. I do not know the exact dimensions, but FLEKKE from Ikea is the day bed I went with after that couch/bed and it was way better. The headboard/sideboard makes it a great couch because you can lean against the headboard/sideboard without having your own body weight push yourself away from the wall. Additionally having only having the headboard on one side makes it less intrusive in the space. Actually, sorry that couch is not the one I had. However, not having a full length bed is rough.
I know you, know this space better than I do. So I'm not saying my opinion is more valid. I am just making suggestions. I love the place and would rent it in a heartbeat from you 😊.

As a project, I admire what you've done with such a small space, it looks to be done to a high standard and you get a lot of bang for your buck.
I get the impression that this was built for you and I do hope that is the plan and it's never rented out. Building it for yourself is one thing but the housing situation in this country is getting worse and worse. I can see a future where such small homes are offered at obscene rents to those who are desperate and with no other choice.

How does one adequately wash pots and pans in such a small sink? It would make a mess and be such a pain. The upgrade I would give is a larger kitchen sink or at least a large outdoor sink for bigger messier jobs.
Added: I love the color choices and general use of space. I wish I someone could convert my storage building that looks like a house into fully functioning tiny home. I’m so jealous but in a complimentary way😊.

I was gifted a toaster oven that is also a convection oven and air fryer for Christmas. We hardly use our traditional oven anymore, since it’s so much faster to use the new one. It would be plenty for a small space, and only takes up the space of a large toaster oven/medium microwave.

Sky lights might help make it feel roomier. Really cozy space overall!
Also, you could expand it a tiny little bit on the end by the couch to create a bay window which adds an extra nook of space to sit and relax, additionally the bottom of the bay window can have a built in shelf for additional storage.

Then, you dont even have to turn on your 4 burner at all. You can cook all your dishes at once, with the same amt of energy as doing 1 thing!

Your tiny build is really nice, and given what it adds in value ot the property and utility, this was done well. An air fryer microwave combo and a toilet+sink basin combo would just elevate the space. Oh and a sofa bed that's just a tad longer so your calves have a rest too at night.

Fridge freezer for sure. A bigger sink, a normal size one with a section of counter top you can put over it to work, like they use in a caravan. An air fryer would be perfect, given the space and the fact that they can do a lot, even bake!

Kitchen upgrade: You could easily get an oven/air fryer - microwave combination!
That way you had four appliances at once..
(Microwave, oven, air fryer & toaster.)
Also I suggest a bigger fridge (with freezer) and drawers for the lower compartments of the cabinet and maybe even some bins or baskets for the upper compartments. It's much easier to store and access stuff in some sort of pull out system..
Nice house you created there! I like everything about it!

The kitchen with the white boards is spacious & practical but still cozy & fun! The office/desk, the living room with the folding bed and the rotating tv, the entrance with it's rustic yet warm/cozy sisal flooring.. Everything really!
You could even rent out both and store your stuff in some storage space.
That way you could make even more money. A whole livable house/home just for storing items is unnecessary waste in some way..
    😊

A longer bed for your long legs. A bigger fridge with a freezer. An air fryer or an Instant Pot with an air fryer would be upgrades you might like. A bigger sink in the kitchen, but I wouldn't bother with a sink over the toilet.
This was very helpful. I'm moving from a 2500 sq. ft. house into a Tiny Home/Destination Trailer that is 399 sq. ft. If you can live in 100 sq. ft. I can live in my new tiny space. The tiny home looks great! my biggest gripe would be the tiny fridge. I would have personally installed a microwave with a fan and light above the stove to give you more counter space for something like an air fryer. for it being small and simple and a temporary living quarter while you are renovating it is very well put together! that bed however would not work for me being 6'4

I recently bought a Ninja Speedi 10-in-1 rapid cooker, which has multi-functions as well as air frying that includes steaming, baking, grilling, roasting and a 'speedy meals' function that allows me to cook vegetables, rice and pasta in the bottom while air-frying on the top layer. Would definitely be an asset in a tiny home with no oven, as it has a similar 'footprint size' to an average microwave, and I paid around £250 for it.

Nice pad. Just a couple of questions. Why not use a 2 burner hob? It would have given you a lot more worktop space. I’m also intrigued about the power / water supply. Have you just extended the supply from the house, or is it charged separately . Cheers CD.

In hindsight a 2 burner would have been much better, I think I've used 3 rings maybe twice?
Power wise there was already electricity, but I needed to add a lot more sockets, spot lights and increase the power supply going to it from 30A to 50.
The water is also connected to the main house and was just extended over from scratch 🙂

Hi. Designing small houses is my hobby. I have some ideas for you.
add hanging kitchen cabinets. Even in the letter L and towards the ceiling you will gain some space. I don't think your kitchen cabinets are deep, it's hard to tell in the video, but even a 20 cm deep cabinet makes more space for storage. If you are tall, remember that you need to adjust the height of the kitchen countertop to suit you. as well as the distance of hanging cabinets to the countertop. Consider a pull-out kitchen counter between the kitchen and bathroom. You can also buy a countertop that falls off the wall opposite. attached to the wall. it can also be lifted.
In a similar way, place hanging cabinets above the computer in the kitchen.
Don't sit like this on the sofa, it's death to your spine.
