    Loy is one of the wisest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He speaks from the heart & always with sense & with humour. The world needs more people like him, imagine how different & how much better our countries would be if we all had someone who spoke like this

    Awesome talk Loy.
    When we stop seeking praise and validation, enclosing ourselves in little cocoons, we begin to expand our awareness and comfort zones to be inclusive.
    Thank you for your awesomeness!!

    Loy, u are truly an inspiration. This video has a very deep message for all people around the world. Your pain is quite evident from the video. This was the time when everyone left you, nobody was on your side, but u emerged victorious, strong from the core. I deeply respect your opinions. U are a true gem. Always stay so ! :)

    Even though he may say whatever he says, thats his opinion. If you're pretty much offended by him, its you're problem.
    I've personally met him and he is a well mannered, courteous individual. The only reason why you may think he is rude or narrow minded is because he thinks and does things realistically. If you think about the things he says and does realistically, you'll see it fits.
    Again, everyone has shitloads of opinions on the internet everyday.

    Strong message, very nice. We all have flaws, bias, imperfections etc. But we are ALL equal. Born alone and we die alone. From dust to dust, all who are born will one day die; so it's better we spend the time on this earth pulling each other up and not breaking each other down. Thank you

    Hi Loy, I have always noticed that when ever there is a time constraint, a speaker will not be able to encapsulate everything that he/she would like to include in the speech. In any case, you spoke very eloquently and got the message across with a touch of humour. Loy, you truly are SPECIAL and a STAR. More power to you bro and keep up the good work that you are doing, for the benefit of the community. You have arrived, not everyone gets invited to speak at TEDx, indeed a great platform. Vijay.

    The stone of judgement is the face of the current world. It is prevalent In all cultures, civilizations, and religions. I should rather say that it is not a new phenomenon. It is there from time immemorial and will remain till the end of the world.We would like to live within our own understanding and judgement. We always forget to respect others views, and forget that every human has the right to live the life he wants. It is all about our own "INTEREST". Loy I admire your courage to say this.

    Loy, Your video was very profound, captivating and delivered in a way, that all could relate to. You truly are an enlightened messenger, as the many who embraced the commonality of love, with the realization of the responsibility to share it, who came before you. It is your reason for being. Your desire to share this, was so all will come to know the magnitude and significance of this message. Thank you, for sharing this !

    Okay so I maybe a little late in the day but I saw your Tedx video,about 4 days ago. Loy,man,you are an inspiration to me! I have had people judge but then there's this point which you reach & realize you're better than them! And people's stereotypical minds just could eat all us unique & awesome people alive! I have to thank you for that speech,Loy. It was honest & just right! Way to go,Loy! :)

      He is such a wannabe white
      He makes me cringe
      Most of his videos have very little good in them
      Honestly don't know what he thinks of himself
      Mates a mysogynist who talks big but got married to a random chic in thailand who i won't be surprised if she is a p Ros or bar girl
      He doesn't even respect his daughter
      Says that if things go south wife should leave and even take the daughter
      He isn't capable to even impress an Indian and looks down on Indians as if he is some aristocratic English man
      Man is a sellout and a creep and one who makes me cringe multiple times 22n28

    10 people were brought up to believe to judge everything including themselves and still haven't learned that those beliefs were from taught from their parents, friends, etc. They forgot when they were babies, they never judged anything! Learn from the babies, make life fun, exciting and curious! That's how you learn about who you are and that's how you evolve in a much faster rate! Time to wake up :)

    .Caste creed colour agreed, dont put tattoos in the same egg basket...I personally have no issues of your tattoos, u may or may not be a good person... its the perception of the image that might scare one.. If i dress up in some scary attire people are bound to be apprehensive,, u chose it .. deal with it ... As long as u dont go KKK about it i dont care ... one thing i do admire is ur oratorial skills proud to have someone from our skool here

    I have thought about his opinions realistically. He has referred to Goans as essentially the filth of India. Given this talk at TedX is about not judging a person he does a very good job at insulting all Goans. If you watch his videos realistically he has just claimed an entire race is below everyone else yet he has never even been to the state.

    @ayhamk 13 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey Loy
    I agree with most of what you said, if not all. In fact, I personally suffered of discrimination by others who are different from me in many aspects, so did you have to add to yourself more aspect (tattoo)? I guess you are a handsome guy, and you could've been different in something different than that. By the way, I didn't vote for you as a speaker in TEDx, because I thought, that your tattoo is too ugly, though I respect your choices.

  • @pradorocks25
    @pradorocks25 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    And when he speaks about being NO 1 in Personal branding blah blah blah, it beats me that he has come to such a highly respected forum in shorts and showing off all his tattoos!!! Moreover, why is he talking about brotherhood and colour race blah blah blah???

  • @VijayManikoth
    @VijayManikoth 13 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Excellent speech. indeed you got the message across in a very subtle manner, that people shouldn't discriminate by their caste, colour, creed, tattoos, or even private beliefs. Perhaps you could have included in your speech, as to why you tattooed your body. Was it for the sheer joy, because you fancy body art or are you making a statement through your tattoos to support people who get prejudged just by looking different, or is there any other reason because some people do it to seek attention.

    I'm disappointed that TED have used this man for their talks given some of his latest views expressed on youtube towards the Goans and even christians. I find that while he may be able to talk the talk he is not able to live the understanding of it. I find that Loy Machedo is incredibly racist and narrow minded towards people who do not have the same belief as him.
