    I think you should add the English version also as you teach. This makes it easy for us to learn while busy with something else. This also helps native Portuguese speakers to learn English, which will be more than we trying to learn in Portuguese. But all said thanks very useful.

    • @aknittedbrow
      @aknittedbrow ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think hearing the English along with the Portuguese might just confuse my ears. Since the exercise is solely pronunciation, I like the video just the way it is. If I want to learn the vocabulary, I can watch the video and see the English translation on the left of the screen. Just my 2 cents.

    Um excelente vídeo. É sempre bom rever a pronúncia, especialmente as palavras que são ditas todos os dias. Mas usou a palavra "flinjas" que nunca foi usada em nenhum dos meus dias.

      Boa observação! A palavra aflijas não é tão usada no quotidiano, mas pareceu-me adequada ao contexto. Se esta ficou na sua mente, então significa que será mais difícil de se esquecer, ou seja, missão cumprida! Estamos a aumentar o seu vocabulário ✨

    Excellent video for pronunciation and hearing distinctions. (Ele and Ela have always tripped me up). I do have a question though: You pronounce the word Empresa two different ways in the video, the first time the Em- is clearly nasalized and the second time it is not. In rapid speaking it's probably not even noticeable, but I would like to know which is truly correct. Thank you!

    Great intro. Just wondering how did you choose these ast 100 'most common' ? Anyhow it was specailly useful as you show stress on phonetics. IMHO it could be more effective if you mention the F/M of the words together like 'esse/isso'.

    A palavra mais difícil de pronunciar para mim é "Cruel" :)

    • @PortugueseUnlocked
      @PortugueseUnlocked  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Grata pela partilha. Compreendo perfeitamente esta situação! Nesta palavra é preciso ter atenção porque as vogais que se encontram juntas não se tratam de um ditongo, como pode ver, a divisão silábica é feita da seguinte forma, cru.el. E a transcrição fonética é /kruˈɛɫ/, o que nos indica que o "L" desta palavra é ligeiramente diferente do que "L" usado no inglês (norte-americano e britânico (Received Pronunciation (RP)). Espero que tenha ajudado!
