    what is difference between why and because? both translate porque

    • @PortugueseUnlocked
      @PortugueseUnlocked  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well... "Porquê" is used as a WHY just like "porque" in the beginning of a question is used as a WHY.
      However, if you are using "porque" to answer a question or to give an explanation then it's a clear because.
      Let me know if this was helpful.

      I second the request to speak slower. What would be most helpful for me is, one time slowly in Portuguese and then repeated at your normal pace of speaking. All of the English content would be better at a much slower pace.

    I couldn't hear most of the sounds in 'quero despacar-me' at all.... all I really got was the 'pash' sound in the middle .... it sounded like ' cash pesharo' or 'qu'as pesacharo' ... this is why portuguese is so hard to learn .. the 'e' in quero has changed to a more open sound... the final 'o' has vanished ... the 'd' IS there, but almost inaudible , and the ending .. has become an 'oo' .. with no hint of a '-me' at all!....Don't know HOW i'll ever get this ! .... but still a good video with great content ... thanks for producing it!....

    Do you have anything above A1 level? Perhaps any videos where you exclusively speak in Portuguese?
    Você tem algum conteúdo mais avançado do que o nível A1. Talvez algo em que falas português o video inteiro? Este conteúdo é bom para alguém que estas a aprender por 4 dias, mas a gente precisa algo melhor se vamos ficar fluente.
