- In today's video, I show you how to sublimate on painted wood using only polycrylic. This video was done last year using only polycrylic and wood, and today we tried painted wood as well! I loved being able to combine both worlds (laser and sublimation) in this video. Hope you enjoy!

You can also use a crumpled up brown craft paper bag to polish the poly and buff the ruffness down to a smooth finish. I also use the white 3m polish pads.

Light sanding before Polycrylic on white paint might help
Turned out awesome! What kind of wood is that on? Is it just thin plywood from a home improvement store? How thick?
What grit is your sanding block that you use in between coats for the spray paint?

You probably could! I’ve heard about people putting HTV on wood.
Nice video. Have you ever tried applying the Polycrylic before laser cutting. Would that work?

Have you ever tried heat applying a laminating sheet to the wood and sublimating into it that way? If so, what are your thoughts on the process?
