- Peshawar, what a crazy experience! Famous for hospitality and friendly faces, we spent the day exploring the old city and chatting with the locals. It definitely lived up to its reputation and we loved it.

Im from new Zealand I stayed in Peshawar for 2 months . fell in love with the people . i randomly meet your guild very nice guy. recommend spending longer than a few days to much things to see in a few days. went in secrete tunnels under the old city that had a entrance in a friend i meet home, which was cool.
the locals are extreme in their kindness. found it hard to pay half the time people just randomly pay your bills.
We had 6 weeks in Pakistan but wish we had so much longer, definitely going to visit again very soon. Totally agree with how friendly the people are, we felt so welcome. We're currently in New Zealand ourselves for the foreseeable!

I watched a bbc documentary on Indo Aryans coming in to ancient India some 4000 years ago their first city was Peshawar. If you read Rig Veda one of the first Indo Aryan books they mention Peshawar valley a lot. I believe they still sell Aryans favorite drink called the Soma in these markets, can you try that? Of course the original soma also had alcohol in it, this will be a non alcoholic version

I think Pakistanis have more Aryan dna than us more white the Pakistan was location of indus valley civilization so Aryans migrated here than slowly spread rest of India
and mingled with local indus valley population
