You can be respectful and talk to women. Thats a cultural wrong in Pakistan. It is considered disrespectful to not talk to a person based on their gender

As I am from Pakistan, I think people are just respectful to ladies, especially when they are with their male family members, colleagues, and friends male, actually respecting family men and speaking about lassi or yogurt drink also called yogurt Beer in Pakistan as All fermented foods, including yogurts, contain alcohol, as do fruits and fruit juices.
They don’t ps Pakistani here
Lahore is such a beutifull city has soo much to offer both views and food wise i went in sept to see my family also went to haveli and coco lounge round the corner the views on an evening are amazing please visit eiffel tower in bharia town

Nice Vlog but I feel in Tuk Tuk (Rikshaw) lots of vibration in video. Video Stabilization not have in your GO Pro Camera or Mobile Camera.
It was a verrry bumpy ride 😂 we preferred to use the camera as this highlights how rough the ride was with no stabilisation

It was just a culture difference for us at the start. We later learned it was a sign of respect. Everyone was super friendly that we met in Pakistan 👍 thanks for watching 😀
it's considered a bad thing to talk with stranger opposite genders. especially when husband is around no one Dares (the actual feeling) to talk to women. it's like another way of respect.
We did learn this as we spent more time in Pakistan that it is a respect thing 👍 just an initial culture shock for us 🇵🇰

In regards with men not interacting with Ash is solely out of respect as it comes from teachings of Islam to not stare at female while talking.
Not shaking hands of opposite gender is also out of respect as female are considered very precious/royal.
Just like queen Elizabeth would never shake someones hand without her gloves.
Female have more rights in Islam but unfortunately our religion has been high jacked by some extremist

Also due to the fact that some tourists may find it rude and get offended as to why people are talking one's female partner without talking to a male first. Hence A.) its mostly out of respect, and also, B.) they are not familiar with or aware that this kind of approach-ability is acceptable in your culture - Hence a language barrier an cultural considerations :)

Badshahi Mosque was built by Aurangzeb whose Army killed 10 million people in Indian subcontinent by conservative estimate, forcefully converted many, brutalized millions of women, destroyed at least thousands of temples. aim of his life was to finish original culture of Indian subcontinent and make it a nation of the religion he followed.
mosques he built on top of the destroyed temples by his army. for him him building a mosque is not of devotion it is showing of power.
Rare interaction between opposite sexes, there should be no sexual harassment there.

Pakistani Food without red chili powder is much tasty. Red chili actually capture the whole taste of food. Try pushtoon food Peshawar city that is better.
