There is a story behind Power Girls Boobs. Allegedly the artist thought that everybody in the company ignored his work, to prove that, he drew her boobs every issue a little bit bigger, and he was like, see, nobody looks at my stuff! Eventually finally somebody asked him what's going on with her boobs, and after that they stopped growing! If that one dude would have just shut up, they could have been much bigger! 😂
"He called him his best friend!" I'm not a DC fan; but to my knowledge, Batman and Superman usually are best friends in most all continuities except for the live-action films. They also both harbor a deep respect for each other, and both think that the other is a better man. I read a dialogue once, between Superman/Lois and Batman/Catwoman, where they were both talking about how being a hero is a responsibility for them, but a conscious choice for the other. Batman says that Superman could bring the world to its knees but he chooses to be a hero; Supes says that his powers make being a hero his responsibility, but Batman's just a man who chooses to fight for what he believes. There was another panel I read where Bruce meets the Kent family, and Pa Kent immediately figures out that Bruce is Batman because Clark didn't have many people he'd trust with his family; that they never heard that Clark was friends with Bruce Wayne, but they'd heard all about Batman. I distinctly remember the line "Clark may be able to leap tall buildings, but he thinks you can walk on water, son. I shouldn't be telling you this, it's worse than showing you his baby pictures - but I'm pretty sure you're his hero."
Guys, the guy that looks like a robot is a Superman villain called Metallo. He's not a robot, he's an actual person whose consciousness was transferred to a mechanical body.
These are the names of the villains in the fight if you wanna look them up. They are Silver Banshee, Mr. Freeze, Killer Frost, Icicle, Captain Cold, Solomon Grundy, Mongul, Gorilla Grodd, Nightshade, Lady Shiva, Kestrel, Giganta, Copperhead, Black Manta, Brimstone, Catman, Deadshot, Eclipso, Shrike, Despero, Black Spider, Cheetah, King Shark, Bane, Zeiss, Parasite, Captain Boomerang, Girder, and Riot.
For the ones I know had live action adaptations: Mr Freeze, Frost, Captain Cold, Grundy, Grodd, Manta, Catman (villain?), Deadshot, Cheetah, King Shark, Bane, and Boomerang. Black Spider is one I've been curious about, being African-American, part of the League of Assassins (aka NINJA!), and having versions similar to Spider-Man (Young Justice version, mainly).
Clancey Brown, Tim Daley and Kevin Conroy were the voices of Lex, Batman and Superman in the DCAU's Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. Clancey Brown was also Lex in Superman the animated series as well as a bunch of other animated movies. He's heralded as the best Lex Luthor outside of Michael Rosenbaum who also played Lex for around a decade in Smallville.
Tim Daly was the voice of Superman in Superman: The Animated Series as well as a few other animated films like Superman/Batman: Apocalypse and Justice League: Doom. George Newbern was the voice of Superman in the Justice League Animated Series and Justice League Unlimited and voiced him in Superman vs. The Elite, Superman/Shazam: The Return of Black Adam, Justice League vs. The Fatal Five, both of the Injustice games, and DC Universe Online. Their voices are very similar and can easily be mistaken for one another until you see the credits.
15:36 Who is that? Oh that's Mongul, alien ruler of Warworld, and one of Superman's deadliest adversaries. Warworld is a place where you fight in an arena while he spectates. Superman dethroned him and he's had it out for him since. It is a little unusual for Mongul to be on Earth. At one point in the comics, Mongul was temporarily reformed and went to train Superman in how to fight at a point when it seemed like Superman's powers were on the rise and seemed limitless. It was an interesting time.
My standout moment was Kevin Conroy's "WOW" when looking at the robot. So glad I had the chance to express my appreciation to him at the Rhode Island ComicCon in 2018. RIP.

Historically, Superman and Batman have always been best friends. It only after the release of the Dark Knight Returns in the 80s when people started pitting them against each other and that book lead to them being estranged in the Post Crisis continuity of DC comics. They eventually became best friends again in the 90s, after the death of Superman and the breaking of Batman by Bane. By 2000, Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman were all best friends and running the Justice League again (they weren't part of the Justice League after Crisis) Zack Snyder made Batman and Superman enemies in his movies because he doesn't understand or respect these characters or the purpose of their fight in the Dark Knight Returns. He said during the production of Watchmen that he hates Superman and would kill him if given an opportunity and he did just that in his second Superman movie. If I had a nickel for every time someone on this channel unknowingly shipped two characters that were related to each other, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
So here's the deal with Power Girl and her boobs. She originally had regular massive comic book boobs but then her creators decided to keep making them bigger until editorial stepped in and it went on way too long so she became known as the comics character is gigantic boobs. She's also a version of Supergirl from a different dimension so she has a familial relationship with Clark. Sometimes, Power Girl is just Supergirl's alias when she decides to get out from under Clark's shadow, like in this movie.
And no thanks to the movies and retcons that play him down, but many people don't realize that Batman is supposed to be a super genius. Depending on the author, even Lex Luthor has stated that Batman is the only one on Earth with an intellect that exceeds his own.
20:36 Mark! Oh, so you haven't seen the 1984 "Supergirl" movie yet? There's a scene in which she's examining one of Lucy Lane's bras, in much the same way that Elly May Clampett did when she was 17 and saw her first bra. But unlike Elly May, Kara didn't deduce that it must be a "fancy, double-barreled slingshot" and then begin using it as one. It wasn't just that she didn't jiggle on Planet Earth, but at home in Argo City, none of the girls and women in diaphanous gowns were wearing bras! (Ditto the Vulcan priestesses by the way, in "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock".) So you see, for this version of Kara, modesty and jiggling aren't an issue either, except to meet fashion/dress code standards on this planet. 🤔
23:22 Mark! "Captain Atom"! This one is different from the 1980s comic book version! I have the three editions of the "Official DC Heroes RPG" published by "Mayfair Games" & "DC"! When he uses his powers in a big way, he time travels to a random point in time! One time in the comics, he accidentally sent himself back to the "Age of Dinosaurs" and there was a dinosaur stampede in progress! He sniffed his right arm pit and wondered allowed if he offended them with B.O. as he apologized to them! But it was a big predator that had them on the run! The Tyrannosaures Rex was able to sneak up on him from behind and swallow him, if I recall right. He was so embarrassed that something so big was able to catch him off guard! He was able to set himself free, I think, by being vomited out rather than the other way, like with Will Farrell in his "Land of the Lost"! 🦖 At some point, he uses his powers again, and the blast radius was the ELE for Dinosaurs rather than an asteroid impact! 😮
I'm sure its been said but FYI Power-Girl is Superman's cousin from Earth-2 she got stuck on Earth Prime after the Crisis on infinite Earths storyline. She is an older version on Supergirl. Having said that. I am glad you guys are venturing into the DC animated movies. You're in for a real treat. Some of these films are absolute bangers. This is definitely one of my favorites. Also, please make sure to check out Superman Batman : Apocalypse.
I know others have commented, but Power Girl is an Alternate Reality version of Supergirl, but instead of coming to earth around the same age she left kyrpton (usually teenage or early 20s), She instead aged up a bit during her space ride to earth, making her more adult. So you usually don't see Power Girl alongside Supergirl. and since Supergirl is Superman's Cousin, so is Power Girl, so no Superman x Power Girl. Funny thing! this is also where I first learned about Power Girl lmao.
30:04 Mark! Haha! There's a comic book panel somewhere in which she is flying down a corridor, and as she turns a corner, the two men that she was chasing turn around in time to get their faces smacked hard by her bust! The dialog from the three is funny! 😅 They didn't have time to duck, and she couldn't avoid them! It is funny how comic book writers think that people can have time to sag so many words, but not dodge or duck! 😮😅😂
35:47 Mark! One of her listed "Vulnerabilities" is a "Minor allergic reaction to diet root beer" that causes swelling, guess where, and mood swings! Once she learns of her allergy, she stops consuming such beverages. In time, her swelling decreased to Supergirl's size. But then it was figured out that her working out so much would make her pectoral muscles large like with Superman, so now it is her muscles making her bust protrude! 😮😊😅
Black lightning predates Static by almost 20 years. He did perpetuate the issue that for years almost all black comic book characters had electric related powers. Powergirl (last I checked) is a clone of Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin. Also not a huge fan of how Amanda Waller was portrayed in this.
25:23 Mark! This was made before the lawsuit settlement caused "DC" to change his name from "Captain Marvel" to "SHAZAM!" A result which gave us a Wizard and a Superhero sharing a name, except that the Wizard's name isn't an acronym! 😮 In the 1930s, or 1940s, or 1950s, in addition to movie serials featuring "Zorro", "Tarzan", "Flash Gordon", "Buck Rogers", "Batman", "Superman" and "Captain America", "Captain Marvel" also got one! 😊
This is my favorite animated superhero movie. You can tell it was made for fans by fans, staying true to classic characters and not holding back on fan service.
Agreed. Superman is my personal favourite superhero as the character has helped me through some dark times in my life. Superman may not be real, but he's real to me
Power Girl technically is Supergirl from an alternate reality. So, she's Superman's cousin...kind of. Mr. Freeze, Killer Frost, Captain Cold, Icicle Sr or Junior. Black Lightning not Static Shock. Same power set but different people.
Jaby Power Girl is a clone of Supergirl, Superman’s cousin. So everything you were saying was weird, but you didn’t know. 😂 Please continue with these there awesome.
@@theshade6176 He might know her from Justice League Unlimited, where they made her a clone of Supergirl employed by the government. But yeah, comics version is older, alternate dimension Supergirl. 🤷♂️
40:58 Mark! Hmm. For a change of pace, it looked to me like actress Alison Mack's hairstyle matched that of "Power-Girl" or "Powergirl" and so for the face or head, the artists used AM as a reference? But the figure would be like in the comics. 🤔
(At 24:42) back then he was called Captain Marvel. But do to "copyright issues" (probably from Marvel comics) they had to change it to Shazam, which I think was lazy considering the wizard that gave him his powers is named Shazam.
"Why would you want Lois Lane when Power Girl is right there?" As others already said, Power Girl is actually alternate universe version of Superman's cousin Supergirl, LOL. And both Superman and Power Girl are well aware of being each other's interdimensional cousin, hahaha. I hope you guys also watch and react to the standalone sequel "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse" which is also quite good.
Batman And Superman are considered and known as the greatest friendship in the entire comic book history, They are both best friends and the greatest duo I have seen in comic books or fiction that is, that's why it was heartbreaking seeing them fight for the first time in The Dark Knight Returns, it is both emotional and epic.
This was definitely a good movie for you both to watch. This really shows the bromance between Batman and Superman! The next movie Batman/Superman apocalypse also shows it too. Their friendship with Wonder Woman is also a treat to see.

If I had a nickel for every time someone on this channel unknowingly shipped two characters that were related to each other, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
@@GrimmEnt. Kristen with Nightcrawler and Mystique in the X2: X-Men United movie reaction
Would you stop with the "B" word!
It is strange how people forgot the Batman is a ninja with detective skills.
And no thanks to the movies and retcons that play him down, but many people don't realize that Batman is supposed to be a super genius. Depending on the author, even Lex Luthor has stated that Batman is the only one on Earth with an intellect that exceeds his own.
Power girl is supes cousin
6:16 Metello! One of Superman's villians! 💪
Tim Daly (Superman) is my favorite voice for Superman
20:44 it's Black Lightning
(Ditto the Vulcan priestesses by the way, in "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock".)
So you see, for this version of Kara, modesty and jiggling aren't an issue either, except to meet fashion/dress code standards on this planet. 🤔
At some point, he uses his powers again, and the blast radius was the ELE for Dinosaurs rather than an asteroid impact!
Batman and Superman have always called each other best friends
7:24 Mark! Hi! 😊 Ahem. As a robot, they're probably holding his bolts in place. 🤔
Rip Kevin conroy
And Arleen Sorkin voice of Harley Quinn and Richard Moll from Night Court who voiced Harvey Dent/Two Face.

1 of my ALL TIME Favorites ❤
Black lightning predates Static by almost 20 years. He did perpetuate the issue that for years almost all black comic book characters had electric related powers.
Powergirl (last I checked) is a clone of Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin. Also not a huge fan of how Amanda Waller was portrayed in this.
Power girl is an adult version of Supergirl from another Dimension she is his cousin.
This is an underrated gem.
I loved this movie as a kid . My favorite DC animated movie.
Superman/batman apocalypse is their other movie. You'll love that one too!!!
25:23 Mark! This was made before the lawsuit settlement caused "DC" to change his name from "Captain Marvel" to "SHAZAM!" A result which gave us a Wizard and a Superhero sharing a name, except that the Wizard's name isn't an acronym! 😮
In the 1930s, or 1940s, or 1950s, in addition to movie serials featuring "Zorro", "Tarzan", "Flash Gordon", "Buck Rogers", "Batman", "Superman" and "Captain America", "Captain Marvel" also got one! 😊
Can't wait for your reaction to Superman/Batman
Apocalypse
Jaby Johnny cage voice: let’s dance
You guys should definetly watch more of these movies
Lmao the random. Unnecessary Hush cameo, as if he could do anything to Superman 😂😂😂
This is my favorite animated superhero movie. You can tell it was made for fans by fans, staying true to classic characters and not holding back on fan service.
Please React to the sequel next. .
Superman Batman Apocalypse. .
Superman is the greatest Superhero👑👑👑👑👑
Agreed. Superman is my personal favourite superhero as the character has helped me through some dark times in my life. Superman may not be real, but he's real to me
@@milkiassamuel780 Superman symbolizes morals and ideals, so in a way he's real.
@@theguy3129 Well said. Honestly Superman has left a lasting impact as the first superhero that gave birth to the idea of superheroes
Superman is the Greatest, Batman is the Coolest, and Spiderman is the Best.
@@josephdent6825 it's just bats and supes
Power Girl technically is Supergirl from an alternate reality. So, she's Superman's cousin...kind of.
Mr. Freeze, Killer Frost, Captain Cold, Icicle Sr or Junior.
Black Lightning not Static Shock. Same power set but different people.
Jaby Power Girl is a clone of Supergirl, Superman’s cousin. So everything you were saying was weird, but you didn’t know. 😂 Please continue with these there awesome.
Technically she isn't her clone, she's her but from another reality. But it's still weird.
@@theshade6176 He might know her from Justice League Unlimited, where they made her a clone of Supergirl employed by the government. But yeah, comics version is older, alternate dimension Supergirl. 🤷♂️
Not a clone, she’s literally Kara from a different Earth
She isn't a clone she's a multiverse variant
You do know Power Girl is Superman's cousin, right?
Nope they’re new to the DC universe
Jaby you calling Black Lighting Static Shock is a hard technical foul bro don't think I can ever let that one go 😂😂😂😂🦇
Excited to watch more of these movies
Love that this movie kept the original DCAU voice actors. You guys are in for a fun ride down the DCAMU!
40:58 Mark! Hmm. For a change of pace, it looked to me like actress Alison Mack's hairstyle matched that of "Power-Girl" or "Powergirl" and so for the face or head, the artists used AM as a reference? But the figure would be like in the comics. 🤔
Seeing Jaby discover the allure of Power Girl is priceless 😂
Avengers Endgame completely stole the scene where Superman saves Batman in space.
20:46 no static shock is a different electric theme hero. Black lightning came first
Thank you
@@darylifillifill1677 your welcome
Another wonderful reaction. Well done. Jaby! 💯
8:05 My man Batman!! 🙏🏽💪
Clancy Brown was also the Kurgan in Highlander.
Superman and batman public enemies is and always will be my favorite DC animated movie! I just love the movie so much.
(At 24:42) back then he was called Captain Marvel. But do to "copyright issues" (probably from Marvel comics) they had to change it to Shazam, which I think was lazy considering the wizard that gave him his powers is named Shazam.
Captain 👨✈️ Atom, Black Lightning 🌩️, Power Girl are O.P. Like 👍 HELL!
"Why would you want Lois Lane when Power Girl is right there?"
As others already said, Power Girl is actually alternate universe version of Superman's cousin Supergirl, LOL.
And both Superman and Power Girl are well aware of being each other's interdimensional cousin, hahaha.
I hope you guys also watch and react to the standalone sequel "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse" which is also quite good.
Fun fact: Superman and Power girl are married in one timeline in the comics
@@raj_a_jaiswal Sweet home Alabama!!!
One of the best Supes and Batman
Superman/batman apocalypse, or Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam.
Yes !!
(At 16:10) I'm surprised Batman can't do THIS to a Hulk zombie.
I 😊 love this movie the bromance between Batman and Superman is Peak
Need to see this in Live action
Now Batman: Under the Red Hood HAS to be next. You’ll be astounded at how good that movie is
This was definitely a good movie for you both to watch. This really shows the bromance between Batman and Superman! The next movie Batman/Superman apocalypse also shows it too. Their friendship with Wonder Woman is also a treat to see.
Such a great sequel!!!
@@IsiahBradley it really is! One of DC’s best movies
They said that it was Black Lightning at the top of the show. Hes also been the star of his own live action television show as well as other DC properties including Young Justice. Along side Static Shock. An OG DC black superhero.
No! That is Black Lightning!
Star Fire, Captain Atom, Major Force, Black Lightning, Superman cousin from another world Power Girl.
20:42 Unfortunately no, that's Black Lighting. He sometimes works with Static Shock
Holy shit, Power Girl is voiced by Allison Mack of Smallville
