He has stated that he would like to do a Sky High inspired project set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
I guess now The boss of Marvel Studios which is a huge fan of this movie was in talks with the director about a new sequel. Disney was hesitant to produce a non marvel film so it might actually happen.
