As an index owner, i have to say everything is about right but one thing is definitely now The valve index does NOT have a crystal clear display by any means, matter in fact it has very poor overall quality Its like looking into an old 720p display, far from crisp and the screen door effect is immersion breaking tbh
You're showing a Vive Cosmos Elite headset while you're calling it and giving the Specs of a HTC Vive Pro 2...🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ I have this Vive Cosmos Elite it is a Wonderful Headset once you swap out the Fresnel Lenses to some GearVR lenses using the 3D printed Mod and add Vive's Wireless Adapter. It actually looks as good as the Quest 3. The lenses are the game changer. 😉👌
Come on... I have the Quest3 and though it is a fantastic device, it is not made to wear for hours on end. First of all is the facecover pressing too hard on the face and due to the fact that there is no counterbalance like the Quest Pro has, or like the not mentioned Pico4 - which is a high end headset, better than the Quest2 - the face cover is also not comfortable after a while. The Quest 3 needs third party upgrades to make it comfortable for extended wear. Otherwise it is a great headset.
It physically isn’t though, the PSVR 2 is a next generation headset with far better specs in every category. The only place the quest 2 wins is in standalone and price
Very poor review. Does not focus on negatives, some of the headsets mentioned ARE horrible and the standings are a joke. Vive cosmos elite is a terrible overpriced headset, wouldn't crack top 10, yet here its above Index which, despite its age is still one of the best, especially controllers and tracking (reviewer does not mention base stations for Index lol). PSVR 2 at 2nd place, also, a joke. Whoever created this video has no idea about what he's talking about. He doesn't own any or majority of these headsets. Here's the proper standings: >10 Vive Cosmos Elite (dont buy this headset its dated, terrible and overpriced. Worse than Index in every way) 6. PSVR 2 (very cheap OLED screens that have terrible Mura effect, bad reprojection, only for people that dont have decent PC but have console) 5. HP Reverb (high res, good audio but horrible tracking, only for simracing, Quest 3 is a better buy in pretty much every aspect, fresnel lenses in 2023 are bad) 4. Pico 4 (Pancake optics, good design. Minuses: Company making them is basically dead (no more standalone games while the library is poor already and no updates), but its still a good choice for PCVR, better than Reverb) 3. Quest 2 (most popular headset ever, very good price:quality ratio, very solid choice, best entry level headset for VR without spending a lot, standalone and PCVR, negatives: small sweet spot Fresnel lenses, IPD adjustment) 2. Index (not recommended buy in 2023 (price didnt change since the day it was released), but still a great headset. Best tracking, great audio, very good controllers, minuses: low resolution, parts like cable or controllers break often, bound to one playspace bcause of base stations) 1. Quest 3 (jack of all trades - amazing visuals (pancake lenses high res), nice controllers, decent audio, high modability to improve the headset and fix shortcomings, standalone and PCVR capability, can be wireless, best passthrough in consumer level headset, minuses: battery life, comfort out of the box) There is no perfect headset, but some headsets ARE better than others.

You do not need a "link cable" to play PC VR games on the quest 2, airlink does a fantastic job and seemless if you set it up properly
Played lone echo 1&2 this way no issues. I just can't pull the trigger to get the Q3.

i wish they made quest 3 ssd expandable like being able to add an external ssd drive via another usb c port
