Well there are a lot of different companies that are making pcvr headsets but most of them i wouldn't recommend. For me personally i would go for PSVR 2 as a PCVR headset with the adapter since it is much better and cheaper on nearly every aspect compared to its competitors.

did a demo of the apple vision pro yesterday. Yeah, the resolution is insane, interface is clean and eye tracking is responsive. honestly from my perspective its not heavy, but perhaps because ive used headsets since 2017. I dont like the passthrough brightness much or the fov, but its definitely the cleanest

Just bought the PS5 VR2 not realizing it's not fully wireless....how is one expected to use with cords under your feet? not to mention unless you have PS located behind you there is no way to run the cable without obstructions......didn't even put it on when I saw the cord. If you want pcvr with cable then the PSVR2 is a good option now that it has a PCVR adapter and the price isn't that bad either and it has a nice Oled screen. The other pcvr headsets out there are really expensive and most of the time not worth it

I have the Quest3 and the Pico4. The Quest is just better in every respect. But I won't give my Pico4 away. It is still a great headset that I use daily.

So that's why I play this on my headset. It is also a more comfortable headset, so for most of my PCVR games I use the Pico4. The Quest has the better graphics and I have a few programs on it that I don't have on my Pico4. Watching movies on both headsets is awesome.
I have had Meta Quest 2 and 3. But sold the 3 like under a month after back to the store and solg the 2 as well. The reason being my eyes cant handle the scren that near and i just dont think passthrough is worth it on the 3. so ill be waiting for the 4.

The biggest problem with the apple vr headset is it is Apple... don't get me wrong, I'm not an Apple hater, but I don't own anything else Apple. Why would I buy it? Especially since it is so damn expensive!
It egregiously priced. 3500 dollars could build you a very VERY high end pc which has way more practical applications. Why would you throw that money at a headset unless you’ve got money to burn. That thing could literally open my third eye and I wouldn’t buy it for that price.

@@VRelity Well, I got the Ultra last week already. Initially a little disappointed, but now I use it more than my Quest3. The improvements over the Pico4 are clear and noticeable. 3d pass through is so much better. I like the controllers. Sturdy and a bit heavier than those of the Quest3 and without the rings like those of the Pico4. I logged in with the same account and only one game I couldn't use stand-alone anymore because the headset isn't compatible: Mutrix, the very good beat Saber clone. But I could buy it on Steam, so at least at home I can play it.

Funny how no one talks about the longevity of those battery operated headsets. Just like electric cars, no one ever say how long these batteries will last and how expensive they will be when replaced. In the case of those headsets it's probably impossible to change them so when the battery can no longer be charged (and this is not a IF it's a when) you will just have to simply BUY another headset. BATTERIES HAVE A FINITE LIFE so many recharge can be made and once this is reached .... then what, what happens to that marvellous resolution that still could work but ... well it needs new batteries that are unfortunately sealed inside the headset. The more time you spend on it, the more you recharge the less it will last (1-to 3 years max) and those cables that keeps it charged as you play are like a hole in your battery life leaking it's life like a bullet hole
actually most people use rechargeable battery head straps which doubles your battery life on a single charge so that lets you play 4 hours non stop for a pretty long time

Because an AR headset has a see through screen like normal glasses while the apple vision pro might give that illusion at first it actually makes you look at two high quality screen while showing you video footage from the cameras that are build on the outside of the headset making it a Mixed Reality headset instead. An example of a AR headset is the hololens. I hope that explains it a bit better

@@VRelity One outstanding feature is the possibility to take 3D pictures and spatial videos. Picture is sharper than my Samsung Note 20 takes!
