Almost 4 years in my Mojave, +33k. Had it since new. Never seen a check engine light yet (knock on wood). Just recently did both batteries for close to $900, stop start feature stopped working; truck batteries probably went bad because truck sat for over 2 months at one point. So far, has been bulletproof reliable.
Landed my first jeep 2 days ago finally at 50 years old. I was so bored with cars and trucks since ive owned almost everything, from hellcats, to cadillacs, to fullsize suvs, i just was ok with driving dependable beaters for 4 years. Saw the Glad Nighthawk and it had just the things i wanted in the package, plus color Anvil. Its quirky, a little old a little new just like me, i love this trucks personality, and am excited to now finally drive something new and fun again!
I have a Jeep Gladiator 2022 overland! I already got a factory recall on the idling issue and the dealer did a diagnostic test and updated my programming, and no issues were found! I love my Jeep Gladiator! I drove a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee for 20 years and my 1998 Jeep Wrangler for 19 years! I loved them all and never had any major problems with any of them 💯! Good luck with your Gladiator ❗️
I have an idling issue also. If you're talking about when I go to stop the engine stops and as I get ready to drive it cranks back up. I just bought a gladiator 2021 and this has been freaking me out
2022 Sport S Max Tow coming up on a year. Not a single issue. Only oil changes. Auto SS works flawless. I have always left it on and do nothing and it works. Drive smooth. Steering tight. No complaints at all. Sometimes it is the individual car. Had a nice Landrover and it had so many weird electrical issues that never would fix. Always ended up with a dead battery. Jeep is outstanding. Had a TJ back in 97 and it also was perfect.
I have a 2022 Gladiator Rubicon, I have not had any problems with it. I currently have it set up for overlanding with a roof top tent. I have a winch, and extra lights, but no lift or bigger tires yet. I have taken it on many trails in Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. The only thing I wish Jeep engineers would have done is put a lock on the rear seats so they wont come up when locked, similar to what they did to the seat backs. If you keep things under the rear seat and take your doors off, all of that stuff can be stolen, and I have recovery gear under my seats. First off, I did not buy my Gladiator to haul or tow, I bought it for wheeling and being able to take the doors and roof off. This truck is great for what I use it for, which is not a work truck. I have around 22,500 miles on it. I am getting ready to head to Colorado for 10 days next week for some wheeling fun.
I've had jeeps for over 40 years. About 5 years ago, I owned nine jeeps. I'm down to 4 now. Most of my older jeeps had over 2 hundred thousand miles on them. In fact, one I had, I gave to my son-in-law when I gave it to him it had 192 thousand miles on it. It now has 400 thousand miles on it. If you keep up with the maintenance on them you'll have a lot less problems. Yes, I have a gladiator now to, love it.
I bought a 21 Mojave and she has been spot on. Not a single issue even with the Fabtech 2" lift and 35" tires. Maybe I'm just lucky but I love the truck and coming out of a full size Chevy pickup.
I have a 2021 diesel. Got it since new . Replaced the original battery not long ago( normal wear ) no issues at all . I love it . I guess some people never read the manuals and drive it like is maintenance free .
I have 44,000 miles on my 2021 Jeep Gladitor. The first problem was the start stop switch light always comming on. Then my check engine light started comming on. After several trips to the dealer where all they did was reset the warning lights the problem still stayed. Three weekes ago the engine light came on again. This time when I took it in they had it for a week and replaced the cam shaft and the oil pump. It is still under wattanty so it did not cost me any money. Today the start stop light came on again. I love the truck, its looks and performance in the snow, but any more problems and I am going back to Ford 150's four wheel drive..
I have a diesel Sport glad. Bought new in 22. Now has over 50k no problems. Dealer did fuel pump recall. Mileage range from 25 to 30 combo city and hwy. Great off road. Would Ibuy again? yep. Wish my 2021 rubican was a diesel. Wish jeep still offered the diesel option
I have a base level Gladiator in Gator Green I bought in 2020. Manual transmission. No issues so far. From all he sticker shock I see from recent ones. I feel lucky getting out the door with only $38K all in.
Yea had ours for three weeks with no issues, stop/start has been fine but only works intermittently, something to do with operating temp and climate control settings. But I love the truck, no towing package and just a Sport S with stock 245/75-17 Dueler AT tires that have highway tread, that rides great, too soft in the rear if anything, but very forgiving. Great in heavy rain.
The 3.6 pentastar is like buying a dozen eggs. Out of 12 eggs theres always 1 broken one....I have one in my 2017 JKU and its been bulletproof. I actually like the motor overall.
I’ve got a 2021 jeep gladiator Willys… same things put fuel injection cleaner with oil changes.. no problem.. there’s an auto stop start alert that comes up on occasion.. Has not met cabin temperature.. Or charging.. but then goes away once satisfied… and operates correctly..
I was back and forth between a 2021 Mojave but when a gorgeous blue 2021 Rubicon Gladiator rolled off the truck...MINE. Still have it, 16000 miles. Only issue I've had was the speedo display had some dead LEDs on it. Replaced under warranty. I use it to tow my boat and cargo trailer. I also used it to move house from Missouri to Florida. I always enjoy climbing in it to drive it.
But once you have a JEEP especially if you live in a part of the USA where it snows I mean really snows . You will smile and wave at people in "SUV'S" with AWD and all season tires as they are stuck or having issues getting stuck .
The auto stop/start problem extends across the spectrum of JK and JL Jeeps. In fact I have an appointment with the dealer for my 2020 JL tomorrow. I have come to the opinion that they don't have a clue why the function does not work properly. The dealer just got a "new" battery tester and now they are going to fix it. Various users will swear that the main and aux batteries both need to be changed and there is a school of thought that the IBS module is the problem. I believe it is a combination of all three. The Intelligent Battery Sensor needs to be "trained" over several daily ignition start/stop functions with eight hour off periods. When the dealer changed the IBS module they told me that the AUX battery was only charged to 57% but would recharge over time. My suspicion is that the IBS module is keeping the AUX battery from getting a full charge. The auto start/stop may work for a few days then quit. A 140 mile drive yesterday had the auto start/stop working last night but I suspect it won't work today! Will keep you posted!
These are the things that I’d like to dig deeper into especially now since everything and everything is a computer nowadays. I wish there were more engineers out there that could or would take the time to take it apart and test and see what the prognosis is in what color should be done to correct it
The most wear an engine endures is on startup. Now with a start-stop feature, it starts and stops at every stop sign and red light you encounter. They have done this for emissions reasons and it is such a bad idea for the engine's longevity too complex for my taste, especially with something that is supposed to be "offroad tough" and capable. Jeep used to be tough when it was a Willys Jeep back in the military days, they were simple field-ready, and easy to fix, but those days are long gone. They are great-looking trucks there is no arguing that it looks good that's it. Stellantis knows how to market to people who don't understand nor care cause they won't keep it long enough to deal with the problems. Let's see that truck at 300k if it goes that far. My 2 cents.
The quality concerns are not actually with JEEP, but with Stellantis as a whole. Many have issues with Jeeps, Rams, Dodge etc… bust most dont. I have had several Rams 1500’s and a few Jeeps. Only one has had any serious issue, which was resolved. Currently, my Grand Cherokee L has been flawless. Perfect in every way.
Hi Friend, proud Gladiator owner since the launch. Only issues I have experiences is a broken sun visor (seems to je an issue with all jeeps) as well as the auxiliary battery that plagues most of us. Both were covered by the manufactures warranty period.
I have the 2020 white Gladiator Sport. I had the Stop/Start issue that was resolved by replacing the aux battery. My engine runs very smooth and I contribute that to a practice I have been using for years. Naprhalene is a product that is produced by refining crude oil or distilling coal oil. It it easily purchased in the form of "mothballs". It will disolve directly back into gasoline and boost performance while cleaning the fuel system through to the exhaust valves. This is accomplished by the resulting NO2 and hydrogen . Also a slight acidity that helps clean the system. Addition of one morhball to each 5 gallons will keep everything clean and provide a increase in mileage noted on trips but not on daily driving.
I was divided between the Gladiator (MT) and the Tacoma Off Road (also MT). The risk of death wobble and fracturing clutch plate caused me to shy away from the Gladiator. The Tacoma is allocated and will hopefully be built before too long.
traded in my 2021 gladiator 3.6l for a 2022 Tacoma trd. Sad to say my biggest pet peave is a fracking gladiator gets better MPG then a toyota product, That's really really messed up when jeeps are more fuel efficient. great truck but over 70k cnd i was expecting not to have a 2nd mortgage to drive the damn thing.
The Aux battery problem is not a problem you trade in your jeep gladiator for. Its on every jeep gladiator so its going to die again like all batteries do and leave you stranded if you ignore the Stop/Start Not Ready warning which preceeds an Aux battery failure. It failed on my Mojave cause I didnt know what that warning meant. You can replace it again or bypass it by removing a fuse and a couple of cables but dont trade it in😂😂😂
This happens with my 2018 jeep grand Cherokee- trail hawk addition. When the light comes on it throws a cam shaft position sensor code. It does bog it down as far as power feel. And if I drive it about 20ish miles it turns off. Starts with a auto stop start light in the dash tho. Looking at a 2024 gladiator rubicon x trim but thinking hard about it. 😅
I've got 2020 rubicon 2.5 mopar lift on 37" tires, had the start/stop issue l installed a new aux battery fixed the issue, only problem in 10,000 miles. This is my 5th jeep, and your right.. love it
I've had a Rubicon Gladiator since August of 21. I bought it new. It's the regular v6 without the etorq. I have 37000 miles on it and haven't had any problems.
The auto stop issue on the JT’s and wranglers is a real issue. That with the engine oiling issue on start up. I immediately removed the auto start feature and aux battery. Then i out the baxter oil system on it to eliminate poor oiling on start up. Once done, then your pretty good imo. Having a lack of oiling on top the engine on start up, then putting a auto start stop function on that engine seems to me to be asking for premature wear. Im now T 70,000 miles. All good so far.
Start Stop is ignorant enviro-nanny crap. Just turn it off. The Gladiator is my 3rd Jeep. I had a Comanche, still own my 2010 Wrangler. Manual transmission daily drivers. Picked up Gladiator in October of last year. Love the wind, love the noise. Will not drive anything else. I am 75 years old. If the Jeep is too much for you, there are plenty of Prius cars out there. Overpay for one of those and stop watching Jeep videos.
The only problem with the stop start is it uses a lawnmower battery. Delete the lawnmower battery and disable auto stop start and your truck will be trouble free.
I’m at 41k needed an alignment. Think another is due. Otherwise I’ve replaced the air filter and cabin filter and oil change or two since the freebies. Will put 1200 miles on it in next 5 days. I don’t expect any problems.
Bought a 2022 Gladiator Overland Ecodiesel w/ 16k miles 3 weeks ago. Been in the shop twice with CEL and DEF message. Dealer replaced Distro panel. Picking today. Will see what happens!
We bought a new 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with the 3.2 V-6. Everything was going fine until it hit 68,000 miles. The oil filter/cooler housing cracked and we lost 5 quarts of oil before the check engine light came on. Don't buy one of these used unless that component has been changed. It's made out of plastic!
I have a 2020 Sport S 6 speed manual I bought back in April 22' used. It had 17,900 miles on it at the time and currently has a little over 27k. I have had no issues up to this point. The only thing I did have was a software problem with the radio and control panel underneath it which was corrected by a couple updates. It had something to do with the Apple car play. Otherwise, I love driving the Gladiator and get a ton of compliments on it. I was lucky because it already had a lot of upgrades done to it that I didn't have to make! For example, it has a lift kit, 37" tires, 20" black wheels to name a few. I am definitely glad I bought it. I also enjoy your channel and keep up the good work.
Because people treat them as cars. I have a friend with a decked-out Gladiator, with a professional 6" suspension lift and the works. He NEVER takes it off-roading. I told him should be sh*t. His response was: "it's too pretty to get it muddy". WTF
I've got the Gobi sport S. Black trim. Ordered to my specs in 2020. Black Rhino Arsenal rims with Toyo AT's. So many compliments from people who love the look. Not a single problem since delivery. My fifth jeep and can't say enough about how great this one is. Hate to say it, but I'm the envy of everyone in town.
I’m shopping for a gladiator. I’m not going to buy one soon, but I’ve been looking for honest info. Your channel gives me good and bad and I want that. Thanks.
Have a 22 GMC Sierra elevation trim start stop acts weird when the truck is hot and AC is on it will just start up sitting at lights for more than a “minute”. Anyways- can’t tow it behind the RV so looking at trading to a Gladiator Mojave. Thanks for the video.
I love my 2021 Jeep Gladiator the white one I got it used with 46000 miles the Overland I have had problems with the dashboard going crazy wipers and check engine light changed the axillary battery still having same problems I love the truck but I can seem to get the problem resolved
I would make sure your mother occasionally puts a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in her jeep gladiator. It’s cheap and the stuff works really well. Occasionally, when I know, I’m gonna go on a long drive I put two bottles of feel injector cleaner and top off the tank. Because the fuel will get burned off right away I don’t worry about it drying out any plastic or rubber in the fuel System. An Italian tuneup with fuel injector cleaner keeps your engine happy.
@@robmotiveplus Italian tuneup is a slang automotive term for attempting to restore engine performance by driving a car at high engine speed (RPM) and load. The term originated from Italian mechanics in the 1950s using this practice to burn off carbon deposits from the spark plugs of sports cars.
My dad bought a new 1974 Jeep J10 back when I was 15. That was one cool truck. I have a 1976 Jeep CJ-5, it is not stock, almost every part on it has been replaced. I've set it up several different ways in the past 25 years I've had it. I would never buy a truck or car with a computer in it. I spent 41 years as a government fleet services mechanic working on that trash. Constant problems with the computer electronics. We would have seven or eight vehicles a day come in with the check engine light on, but still running fine. But being a government department, we had to fix it. We spent more time diagnosing and repairing things that made the check engine light come on than just about anything else. Huge expense to the taxpayers, and whoever brought the vehicle in had to go without it until it was fixed. Often vehicles would come in for routine service with the check engine light on. Whoever that vehicle had been assigned to knew if they brought it in just for that light knew they would probably be without the vehicle for a couple of days, and unable to do their job. We did have a few loaner vehicles (older vehicles that would have been turned in for auction) but we saved them for employees of other departments to use while their vehicle was being worked on if they really needed it. I stick with carbureted vehicles only, and they have been nearly 100% reliable. Plus you can work on them without thousands of $$$ worth of diagnostic equipment and vehicle specific software.
I'm sorry a check engine light coming on and never actually finding out what the actual issue and saying the gladiator isn't reliable is not acceptable. Dude a check engine light can come on if you leave your fuel cap off and drive the vehicle. It could have been something stupid simple. Now my 2020 gladiator had alot of real issues, the transfer case had a leak, the rear lock solenoid failed, the infotainment failed and the back window leaked. Those are real issues but I still bought another one🤣 I love them as well.
Love my '21 Rubicon Gladiator, it has been very good from day 1, no issues. That is, up until I installed a set of larger (Quadratec Hard Rock 17" X 8.5" wide) aftermarket wheels with 35" tires (B.F. Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2). From the on-line company I ordered the package from, the balance job they did was terrible. Took it to the dealer I purchased the Jeep from to have all 4 rebalanced and they are still bad. Issue appears to be mostly in the rear. May have to try to find a tire shop that can do a better job.
Sounds like you bought some tires or a tire that's out of round. The tire dealerships and shops that have a reputation to uphold. You will never see this. But, if you're buying tires thinking a tire is a tire. Trying to save a few bucks. You'll see this happening from time to time. If the tire is out of round. It'll never balance out. You'll have to buy tires again. I've seen this happen to a few people, unfortunately. Buy tires and rims from legit business. You may pay more. But, you'll be satisfied and sleep better knowing you did.
@@TheSupernaturalWolf41 I'm afraid you might be right. I had thought the catalogue company, Quadratec, was a reputable outfit. But in any case, dealing with a mail order company is certainly riskier and more difficult in case there are problems than a local business. Lesson learned.
Have a summer place in Colorado and leave the Gladiator up there all year. Last winter the battery died so just charged it in the spring and good to go. However to my delight the aux battery died as well ending the aggravation of auto stop start. Still dead to this day and will remain this way.
I HAVE A 2021 JEEP GLADIATOR OVERLAND ROCKY RIDGE. NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS THE FIRST 20K MILES. I'M AT 40K MILES NOW AND IT'S RUNNING GREAT. MY AUX BATTERY WENT OUT TWICE. DEALER REPLACED THEM. I'M GOING TO BUY THE NEW TOYOTA TUNDRA TRD PRO.
My 22 stock, no lift with 20’s on it got the Death Wobble at 4500 miles on it. They replaced the steering damper and about 40 minutes after leaving the dealer and 10 minutes from home the same thing happened. First time Jeep owner here and it was quite of an experience not knowing about this. The dealer said they have had received many defective replacement dampers. I’m hoping to get it back tomorrow if the part isn’t on back order. Aside from that, I’m loving it! Fingers crossed
@@Rccrdawgs It turned out to be yet another defective stabilizer. The dealership replaced it once again and all has been fine since. They also opened a case with STAR but I never received any follow ups.
I love the Gladiator primarily the 392. I work for Chrysler. Had a 15 Wrangler sucking oil in to the air box. Customer did the pcv valve their self. After leaking down and compression test another tech found the silencer pad on the hood to be sucking into the air intake and causing the vehicle to be sucking oil from the crank case. If anyone is having this issue check their first it will save a lot of time.
I have a 2019 wrangler limited sport S 2.0 turbo and are having all kinds of problems with the start stop and engine light. It’s crazy change this work on that o maybe it’s this it’s just not reliable
Recommend disabling the auto stop system by taking out the appropriate fuses. There are videos online and it does not ruin the vehicle if the dealership cannot fix appropriately for you.
I think he hit the nail on the head. There are tons of jeeps. Look for problems and you’ll find em. I’ve never had a serious problem with a jeep. I had 2 engines replaced on warranty in a single Tacoma and a buy back on a troublesome sienna. And as for an ESS “problem” it’s always one of three things. Ground, battery or health indicator. There are lots of problems to be had with an electronic vehicle.
My Mojave has these issues that are very annoying and maybe a headache for others. Key fob constantly opening the flip up key and also the red emergency Button will sound the alarm just by bending over. The tailgate doesn't notify you if it's down when you forget to put it up.and you drive off. LED headlights are blinding others and I'm always getting revenge blindness from angry motorists.
I had several issues when I bought my 2021 gladiator. It took months for the dealer to fix. I had a loaner the whole time. Jeep is crap. This is my second one. I like being stupid.
Out of curiosity, did the vibration start right away or was it something you experienced with time? I'm looking at getting a Gladiator Rubicon soon (2023).
Buying a new car, any variety, and having it perform worse than the 12 year car your trading in, has got to suck! But it's not all that uncommon today, especially with so much control being given to computer chips with all the new tech they are rolling out. Not nearly enough field testing being done on these vehicles before sending them to dealers. We (the general public) are becoming their test mules and they (the manufacturers) just issue service bulletins whenever enough people complain or die.
The only draw of the gladiator is the removable top and the keep thing. I want one and love this video. These vehicles are not selling right now and way over priced
I bought a 2020 gladiator sport (used) with 41k miles lifted on 37s (sting grey). I’ve had transmission issues. At 51k miles jeep replaced the transmission. Love the truck though. Did several trails in AZ and hell’s revenge in Moab UT. It’s like being in a toxic relationship 😂 I’ve also had to replace the aux battery.
I have the 20 21 Mojave and it is constantly giving me the auto stop/start light being on. They have replaced the batteries and the car only has 6 K miles. I have to take it in again for the same problem and I have put on less that 1 K since the last time. Also the rear headliner is falling down. I love the truck, but there are a few problems with it
What fuel injection cleaner did you use, as I have the same rough idle issue in our ‘19 JL Rubicon? Thanks. I just replaced both batteries and that took care of the issue with auto stop start not working anymore and always saying “charging”. Our JL just spent a month in the body shop getting the blistering paint repaired on the hood and all 4 doors. I did videos on both of these issues.
my gladiator is the biggest POS. 500 miles and the cams already need to be replaced. that being said, this is my third jeep and I could never drive anything else. test drove tacomas, f150s, nothing brings me joy like the poorly built jeeps.
Great video, I'm picking up my 2023 Mojave this Wednesday to use for surf fishing in the Outer Banks. Hopefully I won't have any issues. Luckily my friend owns the dealership, so if problems arise, I'll be taken care of hopefully. On a different topic, I paid 64 out the door, for everything, loaded except front camera. Is that a decent price?
I have owned 5 Jeeps since 2009 and never had an issue. I have a 23 Mojave and love it.
Then why have you owned 5
I have owned 5 Jeeps as well, starting in 97. Never had a real problem with any of them!
I have two Gladiators in my driveway. One is a lemon 🍋. I hope the other one isn't

I’ve got a 2021 jeep gladiator
Willys… same things put fuel injection cleaner with oil changes.. no problem..
there’s an auto stop start alert that comes up on occasion..
Has not met cabin temperature..

I wish there were more engineers out there that could or would take the time to take it apart and test and see what the prognosis is in what color should be done to correct it
Had mine 4 years, 65k miles later…. Never an issue
2021 80th anniversary, coming up on 2 year mark 25k miles. No issues. Love mine.
Great to hear👍
I have had several Rams 1500’s and a few
Jeeps.
22 Gladiator sport…only issue so far was center brake light went out which I changed myself….ESS is always in the back of my mind though
I was torn also but went the Gladiator way due to room in the backseat. Just seemed too small
You can replace it again or bypass it by removing a fuse and a couple of cables but dont trade it in😂😂😂
My Mohave has functioned nicely so far. I agree. It is a fun and terrific vehicle!
This is my 5th jeep, and your right.. love it
Great that you solved your problem👍
I've had a Rubicon Gladiator since August of 21. I bought it new. It's the regular v6 without the etorq. I have 37000 miles on it and haven't had any problems.
Now that is great to hear👍
As you shouldn’t have any problems with 37k miles lmao. Wait till you get to 100k and then come back with your stories.
@@gorillakillaaa try harder
Why so crusty? Aren’t we on the same team? Perhaps you thought you were on a Ford channel😂
2020 gladiator sport s gong on 42k miles I do my own oil changes. No issues since day one. I love my JT
Your's has been very good👍
Bought a 2022 Gladiator Overland Ecodiesel w/ 16k miles 3 weeks ago. Been in the shop twice with CEL and DEF message. Dealer replaced Distro panel. Picking today. Will see what happens!
Bummer! Hope they get it resolved for you👍
We bought a new 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with the 3.2 V-6.
Awesome! That's great to hear👍
Mine is doing the rough idle as well when parked or stopped in drive, going to try the fuel injector cleaner
Seemed to do the trick for me👍
Because people treat them as cars. I have a friend with a decked-out Gladiator, with a professional 6" suspension lift and the works. He NEVER takes it off-roading. I told him should be sh*t. His response was: "it's too pretty to get it muddy". WTF
I love my grand cherokee L. It's a smooth ride and nice interior. The pentistar engine has plenty of power
Very nice👍👍
Same but 2022 model and tow 7k travel toy hauler just fine
I’m shopping for a gladiator. I’m not going to buy one soon, but I’ve been looking for honest info. Your channel gives me good and bad and I want that. Thanks.
Glad to help👍
15k off right now in March 2024
Have a 22 GMC Sierra elevation trim start stop acts weird when the truck is hot and AC is on it will just start up sitting at lights for more than a “minute”. Anyways- can’t tow it behind the RV so looking at trading to a Gladiator Mojave. Thanks for the video.
I love my 2021 Jeep Gladiator the white one I got it used with 46000 miles the Overland
I have had problems with the dashboard going crazy wipers and check engine light changed the axillary battery still having same problems I love the truck but I can seem to get the problem resolved
That’s a drag. It’s these types of things that drive you nuts😬
Drove mine all over the country months per trip never one problem. Great vehicle. Many jeeps over the years never one problem.
Have you had any troubles with tailgate brake light not coming on? My does it now and then but a buddy of mine is out too. Do you any cause.
I never had this problem.
The gas cap engine light turns on when is not tighten correctly correct
I wish they made a LJ version of the two door JL or made the 2 door with a bed. My 4.0 in my 2000 xj will run forever and runs brand new
I would make sure your mother occasionally puts a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in her jeep gladiator.
Italian tune up?
I’m glad my 2022 GMC Sierra doesn’t have start stop.
I've putt 29kmiles on mine and so far no issues, great video
Now that's good to hear👍
Love my '21 Rubicon Gladiator, it has been very good from day 1, no issues. That is, up until I installed a set of larger (Quadratec Hard Rock 17" X 8.5" wide) aftermarket wheels with 35" tires (B.F. Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2). From the on-line company I ordered the package from, the balance job they did was terrible. Took it to the dealer I purchased the Jeep from to have all 4 rebalanced and they are still bad. Issue appears to be mostly in the rear. May have to try to find a tire shop that can do a better job.
That's a bummer but at least it's not a Jeep issue😬
Love my 22 Gladiator Rubicon. No issues whatsoever
Great to hear 👍
I'm not having any issues on my jeep gladiator 2021 I love it.
Have a summer place in Colorado and leave the Gladiator up there all year. Last winter the battery died so just charged it in the spring and good to go. However to my delight the aux battery died as well ending the aggravation of auto stop start. Still dead to this day and will remain this way.
But don't you get a malfunction light in the gauge cluster?
Nothing
Ouch! Hope they get it worked out for you👍
Your angle is all wrong
@@Rccrdawgs It turned out to be yet another defective stabilizer. The dealership replaced it once again and all has been fine since. They also opened a case with STAR but I never received any follow ups.
Steering stabilizer is never a death wobble fix. Dealers trying to cheap out.
My first RobMotiv Jeep Gladiator content! Nice work bruv.
I have a 21 willy's gladiator... I had the rough idle thing.... a can of seafoam cleared right up.
Man I could ask you a question or two before I buy my first jeep
I have a 2019 wrangler limited sport S 2.0 turbo and are having all kinds of problems with the start stop and engine light. It’s crazy change this work on that o maybe it’s this it’s just not reliable
Bummer😡
Recommend disabling the auto stop system by taking out the appropriate fuses. There are videos online and it does not ruin the vehicle if the dealership cannot fix appropriately for you.
But then you get to look at the malfunction light on the dash😡
Just got me a 2021 sport with Willy’s package. Love it
My 2021 Sport S had a leak at the back glass on My hard top but no other issues otherwise.
Was it fixed under warranty?
@@robmotiveplus yes it was.
Lol. Sometimes we've just gotta have what's not good for us😬
I have the same color Gladiator and the same shade screen (inside the cab) and the same color crazy right?
I have the auto stop eliminator; my jeep hasn't auto start stopped for years
Out of curiosity, did the vibration start right away or was it something you experienced with time? I'm looking at getting a Gladiator Rubicon soon (2023).
It was my mothers. It started after she had it for awhile.
I’m on my 2nd Gladiator, this one is a Mojave 😊 and I have had zero issues with either of them.
Great to hear👍
The only draw of the gladiator is the removable top and the keep thing. I want one and love this video. These vehicles are not selling right now and way over priced
Regarding pricing, I hear they’re offering a lot off right not…$$8-9K
First thing I'd do is use a code reader to disable start/stop completely.
Jeep TJ over 200,000…. Reliable
Lol! They are hard to beat👍
Thanks for your honesty much appreciated…..
hey...im about to get one....didnt know it had 2 batteries....where is the 2nd one??
It’s under the fuse panel.
@@robmotiveplus I seen in another video u did
Just checked in to order one yesterday until I found out the cost of insurance, 62yo excellent credit, zero violations.
I’d check with different insurance companies 🤔
@@robmotiveplus Thanks, my first quote was 98.00 per month.
I have the 20
21 Mojave and it is constantly giving me the auto stop/start light being on. They have replaced the batteries and the car only has 6 K miles. I have to take it in again for the same problem and I have put on less that 1 K since the last time. Also the rear headliner is falling down. I love the truck, but there are a few problems with it
It can definitely be a gamble!!😕
What fuel injection cleaner did you use, as I have the same rough idle issue in our ‘19 JL Rubicon? Thanks.
I just replaced both batteries and that took care of the issue with auto stop start not working anymore and always saying “charging”.
Our JL just spent a month in the body shop getting the blistering paint repaired on the hood and all 4 doors.
I did videos on both of these issues.
Have a look: th-cam.com/video/--ajWMdWmto/w-d-xo.html&feature=shares
my gladiator is the biggest POS. 500 miles and the cams already need to be replaced. that being said, this is my third jeep and I could never drive anything else. test drove tacomas, f150s, nothing brings me joy like the poorly built jeeps.
I had to have a engine replacement! I’ll never get another
Still on my first FJ cruiser 2010
A classic 👍
Get a manual, then it's not an issue. Auto stop start never even kicks in except for when im waiting for my kid at school.
2022 Mojave with 7k miles, no problems so far
You're taking a chance with any vehicle!
Buy a good jeep that you like. Replace everything underneath. Smile, then replace everything else. Love my gladiator but i miss my JK.
Ask your friend. 😅
I just looked around me in GA, 59k for a similar Gladiator.
I also have the Jeep gladiator Mojave in the color snazzberry. Although my seats are different than yours the color that is.
In Jeeps check engine lights are on so often that I worry more when it's off.
Lol😂
I detest stop start ,unpluged it and good to go on my Cherokee.
I had a commander and it was good to me just constant alternator going bad 😅
Bummer 😡
The codes weren't stored?
