I didn't know about all those features either, you would think that they would show these features as additional selling points..... Of course I was sold on mine right away 😂 thanks for the video
Went to buy mine and i knew more than the salesman and i didnt do research, and he was wrong on numbers but ended up getting a free lift and bigger tires out of that mess
My dealer didn't show me chit, everything I learned about my Gladiator was from your channel and other Gladiator owners. Great channel keep up the great work .
4:00 in you say it won't completely get rid of it. Try rotating the buckle at least half way around before clipping it, like you would do with roof rack ratchet straps to keep them from vibrating.
Excellent descriptions!! 1200+ miles on our new Gladiator. Salesman = good guy but he didn't show ANY of this. I subscribed and will watch ALL you videos. Thank you so much.
Is the loop on the rear seatbelts big enough for the clip to go through? If so, I'd imagine that is the correct way to use them together, rather than just tucking the seat belt strap behind it.
It is but the tension of the belt just pulls it up and out. What's even better though...pull the belt down about 6" so the buckle is just under the clip then slide the strap under the clip. That'll keep the buckle taught against the door and mitigate any banging.
Did NOT know about the lock on the back of the rear seat. I don't own one of these but I'm definitely wanting one, and have been wondering if I'll have to empty the thing out of I want to drive to work topless. Thank you for the vid!
Nice video on these hidden features. One thing to be wary of, the sun-visors are notorious for breaking when turned sideways to block the side-window glare. They are held by a plastic piece on top of the stem that pivots. I replaced my passenger’s side visor last year and learned on a Jeep forum it’s a very common issue.
Mine fell off while driving and was suspended right in my field of view by the wires for the vanity light. Ended up driving down the ditch before I managed to get stopped. The dealership was not pleased to see me when I went back up there the next day.
Yes I noticed the other day I needed to use the side visor like on my prior Tacoma and didn’t want to force it so I didn’t think it slid out punched up your video and see you can. However when I went to fold it back up it seems sloppy and not seating properly into the clip and I pushed up where the hinge was and it popped back in I did notice on E! they have a little keeper of a clip that screws in not sure where the hole goes but maybe keeps it seated. Don’t know if it works but may try. I just don’t want to put any extra holes don’t know if it lines up with existing.🍻
I didn’t know either of the things with the visor. I also didn’t know about the hook for the seatbelt. My Rubicon doesn’t have the lower cover panel that yours does. Now I’m wondering if that’s by design or I just didn’t get it when I bought it. Mine is just an open area under the seats for both sides. I’m going to ask the dealer.
just noticed your glaring stickers on your sun visor i civered mine with a black decal looks much better or you could show us if a hairdryer can remove these.I just covered scared to try hairdryer. I double dog dare you to try removal would be a good show.
I saw one of your videos, where you found how to get the dash to show what gear you were in, while you were in 2 wheel drive. Did you find out how you turned that on?
Rob Ive got a question NO one can answer no dealer my jeep does not have a electrical outlet in the bed (( does have a plastic cover there though)) you have done a lot of mods so wanted to ask you? Can you add the plug-in after the fact? Possibly a good video ha Thank You in advance
Damn, I love those seats. Love a tan interior. Too much black in mine but the deal was right...and I do use tan partial seat covers. Thanks for the info !
@@robmotiveplus I’m pissed, lol. The rear seatbelt clips are especially nice when folding the back seat down for wireless speaker/gear access. Always got annoyed when trying to flip it back up only to catch the seatbelt constantly.
Is this the high altitude im torn between the high altitude and the mojave. I want the performance of the mojave but i have a family so the extras the hogh altitude match me just jeez the off road abilities kinda lame in the high altitude. Somebody plz make my decision easier
The dealership never showed me many features. Just sign here and enjoy the truck!😐
Lol! On to the next payday!!😬
Most dealerships these days are clueless as to the products they sell. They're only interested in their sale and not the product itself.
Mine had no clue how to do uconnect or setup garage opener they said here is the owners manual HAHAHAHA

Rear seat lock is gold!

Glad to help and thanks for watching 👍
Picking up my Jeep Gladiator tomorrow. I did not know about the rear seat locking. Thanks
Awesome! Congrats 👍
Good stuff... Learned 3 of the 7 features. Thanks TL
Great video, I just bought my jeep gladiator Rubicon and I'm still discovering things, thanks for the shortcuts.
4:00 in you say it won't completely get rid of it. Try rotating the buckle at least half way around before clipping it, like you would do with roof rack ratchet straps to keep them from vibrating.
Thanks for the tip👍
Jeep owner- buys truck for off roading.
Also Jeep owner- Don't let the gas cap scratch the paint.
###Dying!!!
I couldn’t tell what year it was from the features. Guessing the late 70’s from all the revolutionary ideas.
Thanks for the shade info! I was about to add my shade extension I had on my last car:)

Easter Eggs, I like the Doc. Clip, thanks for pointing that out!
Hi Rob. In the beginning of the video you was installing like a plexi glass air filter cover. Do you have a link for that to purchase?
Have a look: th-cam.com/video/_5Uqhg3gcUc/w-d-xo.html
re seatbelts, just plug them in if they're rattling
Thanks for the Info.
Thanks for watching 👍
Didn’t know about the writing on the hinges thanks

Great video Rob! Always love to learn a new tip about the Jeep!
Thanks Laurie 👍
Cool! Great comments that I didn't know
Love your videos. Always fun to watch.
Thanks Kevin👍
Cool things to know about, thanks!! I’ll know what to expect when I get a Jeep gladiator someday! Smile😊 your dog is cute btw!!
Lol I thought this was clickbait but than I learned new things about my gladiator such as the seat belt clip. Thanks for the video
Thanks for watching.

@@hitecredneck8292 Dang! FCA engineering was out to lunch on the JL/JT visor design. You couldn’t pull the JK visor stem out if you tried.
I had to buy an aftermarket repair piece to fix mine after only a few months of owning it!
Didn't know any of that, thx
Thanks for watching 👍
Thanks for the info didn’t know
Thanks for watching 👍
Just bought mine and didn't know about any of these!
Glad to help! Congrats on the new truck 👍
Thanks bro !

great video.....really enjoyed it
Thanks for watching 👍
Great video but those clips were actually designed for parking garages… that’s where you would put your parking pass so you didn’t lose it…
My 1975 Plymouth Duster sun visor does that too... 🙄
It's that way by design. The locking cover is an added option. My mother just got a Mojave and it's open like yours.
@DevilDog53 Gee, 57k an that’s an option I missed. Thanks, I wonder what they stick you for that?
@DevilDog53 Well, that has to be the one thing they leftoff!
@@robmotiveplus wait, what?!? She got rid of her white one? Are you going to do some video content to show her new one off?
Yep. I just learned about my visor extension today after thousands of miles of sunset rides.
Lol! I can relate😬
Which one do you like better ? The taco or the jeep if you had to pick just one to keep.
Depends on my needs at the time. They each have their place👍
Great features 👍👍👍👍
just noticed your glaring stickers on your sun visor i civered mine with a black decal looks much better or you could show us if a hairdryer can remove these.I just covered scared to try hairdryer. I double dog dare you to try removal would be a good show.
No need. They cannot be removed.😐
Put the loop over the clip and no more rattle
The visors do that on almost if not every vehicle
Thanks for the info! I'm looking at buying one of these in the near future!
Thanks for watching👍
I saw one of your videos, where you found how to get the dash to show what gear you were in, while you were in 2 wheel drive. Did you find out how you turned that on?
I believe it's a default. You should have it o your as well👍
thats not what the gas door thing is for. you can actually place your cap on it!
Either way👍
Pretty sweet. I learned a few things!
Glad to help👍
2.5 years in and just found out some of this stuff...
Thank you my friend for all the information on the features. I just purchased a 2022 Gladiator sport 4x4. Real cool stuff.
Awesome! Congrats 👍
I had no idea those little clips were there for the seatbelts!
They are pretty handy👍
Rob Ive got a question NO one can answer no dealer my jeep does not have a electrical outlet in the bed (( does have a plastic cover there though)) you have done a lot of mods so wanted to ask you? Can you add the plug-in after the fact? Possibly a good video ha
Thank You in advance
Don't see why not. All you'd have to do is run the wiring (if it's not already there) and add the plug👍
Very easy installation search on TH-cam.
Excellent
Awesome stuff
Did you know the more you use your visors that they will break at the hinge point and you will get very upset ?
I know some have experienced visor problems. 😐
Thanks i like your video
Thanks for liking👍
I first went to look at a tacoma but I couldn't fit in it. The willys gladiator was a great fit. Witch one do you like better?
Definitely more room in the Gladdy👍
Didn't know about the clip on the visor. Glad I watched. Going out right now to put my proof of insurance etc up there. Thanks Rob.
Nice! Glad to help👍
nice vid
Thanks.
Does the trifold bed cover lock?
Mine does not.
They all do ..... when you lock the truck, tailgate locks.
Look through your owners manual. You might find all kinds of things.
mother of god i didn't know about the locking seats and the fact I had STORAGE BEHIND the seats!!!!
Lol! Glad to help👍
You could say the visor it is like the Tacoma.
✔✅ ☑ ✔✅ all clear ! Great video but I'm very curious when I purchase a vehicle and I go Medalling with everything 😅
I had to laugh! I have the exact same Chinese small toilet paper rolls, in the same exact spot of my gladiator hahahahahahahahah
Yup….panic buy!!😬
DAAAAAH
ill be honest, I had no idea about either fact on the sun visor. thanks
Glad to help👍
Fundraiser beard cutting event at the ready?
Lol! 😬
That’s a gun case under back seat
Are you aware that the Jeep Gladiator has two batteries the main battery and auxiliary battery
I am. What a horrible system😐
Very convenient feature. Just used mine after 6months of gloom in Ohio.....lol
Welcome to the 21st century
Damn, I love those seats. Love a tan interior. Too much black in mine but the deal was right...and I do use tan partial seat covers. Thanks for the info !
They were great. On my current Gladdy I have black😬
What seats are they?
Mine were cloth tan👍
I did not know any of those things.
Well now you're in the know👍
If I learn something I’m gonna be pissed.
Lol…Well🤔🤔
@@robmotiveplus I’m pissed, lol. The rear seatbelt clips are especially nice when folding the back seat down for wireless speaker/gear access. Always got annoyed when trying to flip it back up only to catch the seatbelt constantly.
Pretty sure all sun visors do that.
Nope…surprisingly they do not.
Am I the only one who knew that visors did this many many years ago.
Nope, figured that out on my 72 nova....I thought all vehicles did this.
Why’d you make 2 videos of the same features
For your viewing pleasure of course👍
These are the most painfully obvious things
Sounds like you are well informed. Not so for everyone 👍
Most cars have had that visor for YEARS! I guess most never knew it.
(I was raised in a salvage yard ; )
who didn't know this .... lol
Is that a rhetorical question 🤔
Where in Ohio are you from?
I was in the Columbus area.
I know you love to de- Chrome everything but can you next time and show how to de label those stupid warning labels on the visors 🤔👌🏻
They cannot be removed...only recovered 😐
People would know more about the vehicle they have if they READ THE OWNERS MANUAL!!!!!!
No argument here…but who really does that🤔
Most visors do that since the 90s......stop with the fake wow factor.
Take a breath…you’ll be ok😵💫
