I have been trying to get my shop manager to get us one of these for years.

I don't understand the batteries. I've used one that's pretty much identical in operation, sound, and appearance (except the Zep logo) and the only thing it needed was air.
I've also found there's a balance to strike in not over filing it so that the charged air runs out at the same time the cleaner does.

What a stupid desine pump, put 4 d cell batteries in the back under 2 screws to somthing you might want to permently install on a wall, so every time you need to change the batteries you've got to take it back down and open it up.
Stupid. Why not a rechargeable battery pack like a milwalkie or some other comon used tool or even 120 volt power supply plugged in 20' away from the drum or a separate battery pack you bolt on the wall next to the pump with a latching door for the batteries i mean its only 6 volts dc hell it could have used a 9 volt battery and frt cover that uses a thumb screw to change the battery.
Zep, makes good stuff but this is stupid, it really dosnt even need power it could be compressed air.
