Hi. Just seen your video Cool car by the way.. I am a professional detailer in the UK. We have mustangs over here A good tip to apply tyre shine is to get a small applicator sponge and spray your product on it, then wipe the treatment around your tyre wall. You get none on your alloy or paint work. Hope this is useful..
Wow that’s funny that you said that because just the other day I applied the spray directly on a sponge and applied it on my tires instead of spraying it on and it doesn’t sling back onto the car 👍
Just wanna say thank you. U put me on to "Cover All" and I haven't went back to any other tire dressing. Wish there was a way that I could post pics so u can c the b4 and after pics of my vehicle. Ur jaw wud drop. Peace and love from NC! 🙏🏾
Itsjusta6! Shout out from Chicago! So yesterday before washing my car I decided to go to O’Reillys and buy a cover all. I didn’t make it to the counter when a young men yells out! “Let me guess You want Cover all” I laughed and replied yes!. The guy mentioned that he taught I was you at first by the look of my car. I found this very funny but much respect to you! You have helped me take care of my car a lot!
I have a question brother. So I am looking into buying the extreme corsa exhaust although I’m super new to the game and I was wondering. Once you put the Corsa Extreme exhaust do you have to tune the car? Is there any necessary or extra steps or do you have any recommendations I should do after for a better performance.
After washing, first thing you need to do is protect and revitalize your tire to stay supple and flexible by coating it with and RV rubber roof UV protectant on the tire. Let it dry. Then, apply coverall.
Coverall contains silicone, like most tire dressings. Just a matter of time before the silicone destroys your tires and their built-in UV inhibitors, amd changes the structure of the rubber, losing its flexibikity and and color. You'll be inclined to just add more to temporarily darken the tires, but they will be hard has rocks under the shine. Just go walk around any used sports car dealership and have a look/feel on any tires more than 2 or 3 years old. Silicone is literally the worst thing you can put on your tires or interior/exterior trim.
That’s odd seeing as silicone is a great way to preserve rubber seals in doors and windows. I wonder what the difference is. Don’t get me wrong. I agree with you 100% but just curious why it’s good for rubber seals but not for rubber tires.
@@FJB8646 I was told by a chemist that the silicone breaks down the UV inhibitors (among other things), so you may not see an issue unit it's exposed to heat and sunlight. While I don't know the exact science, I can tell you only what I have seen to tires and dashes. Once you use it, you basically have to keep using it, and the only reason that helps is because you're keeping it constantly moisturized which helps the pliability.
Tip - use a piece of thin cardboard (like a broken down shoebox) and a shield that can be placed between the rim and the tire. That way, as you spray the Coverall on the tire the cardboard will shield the wheel from any overspray from the product. That's what I do and it works great,
I've had it with the spray foam tire cleaners. They literally work for 1 day and then the tire looks as bad or worse than it was before. I knew there had to be a better way because obviously the car dealerships aren't using the same crap I use. Good video! :)
Thanks for the wheel and tire tips. This makes me want to run wash my car now. I'm loving your ride. I was at the bodyshop yesterday and saw a nice 67. As a teen my 1st car was a 3 speed 63 with the ac below the dash. I loved that baby, but my dad sold it for something newer. Yes, crazy!!! Keep up the great videos!
I’m glad I found the perfect tire shine. I’m so sick of that spray slinging all over my ride even after letting set for an hour or two. Thanks for the tips guys, you guys rock like guitars and drums and crack and bums 😉
Wby don't you wipe off the excess before you drive .. ? The Excess product residue gets sticky and then road gunk and brake dust sticks to it, and it will leave stains on your driveway. Wife or Mom would not be pleased! lol For excess product that collects in the tire grooves, ▶ *use an old T-shirt and wrap it over a Butler Brush* (they come with a plastic dust pan for $1 @ Dollar Tree) *and just rub it around the tire L to R, slowly, it absorbs the excess.* (or a dollar craft sponge paint brush if its just on the sides) I'd rather rub in and/or wipe off excess product than trust any spray and leave on. I’ve been struggling with sling all over my truck an it’s white!!!!!😡😡 after watching this video I bought this product an man!!!! Does it work thanks again 👊
Hey man, just wanted to give an input on something I've noticed with your new wheels on the back. It looks like the lug nuts aren't lug-centric with your hub and the wheel. I've got some years of experience with tires/wheels, and I've actually put those exact wheels on a vehicle before. Most aftermarket rims require an aftermarket-style lugnut in order for the whole entire wheel to be hub centric whenever it's bolted on. I can see at 6:44 that it looks like you've used the same lugs that you got with the vehicle and just took one of the lugs out of the wheel lock box and threw it on there. I'd recommend seeing if they're actually fully flushed on the hub, because you put a lot of power to them, and it can actually vibrate and cause the lugs to become loose and eventually fall off, and that's the last thing I'd want to see (seen it before). Other than that, I love the videos man. Thanks a lot for them.
Hes not very bright anyway .That looks like shit with two different wheels.Must be wasting all his money on the coating and cant afford the front wheels

Thank you for showing me the Cover All. It was on the shelf at O'Reillys for 9.49. This stuff is awesome just dont spray and wipe it on your weather tech floormats to make them shine because they will be slick....thanks again!!!
I think even a child would know not to spray anything on your mats to make them shiny. Now thats just plain dumb. Glad you shared your stupidness with the world haha
Just like with any aerosol tire shine, there will be over spray EVERYWHERE. You may not necessarily see it at first but if you catch the light at the proper angles you'll see oil overspray dots all over your paint and all over your wheels and they, like any other oil contaminates attract dust/dirt over time. They also inhibit any coating or protection you have on that given surface
If you want to make tires pop even deeper, scrub the TIRES with BLEACH WHITE about 2-3 times until its not slimy and starts to foam up. Rinse well in between washes. Let tires dry till they look "charcoal gray". Then use COVER ALL... makes the black pop and gives a deeper dark gloss.
Important to note about Cover All! It's not for sale in quite a few states due to VOC regulations. Make sure your state isn't on the list before trying to purchase. My state does not have it and it cannot be shipped.
I'd kill to see another badass cinematic video of that mustang now that it's completely blacked out. Some sick shots of those headlights with the v8 in the background, some great music... you got talent with that if you're up for it I'm sure lots of people would agree.

I work at an O’Reilly’s like 30 mins from Shreveport, and we have people come in wanting to buy a can of Cover All all the time, we keep it behind the counter on account of people stealing it so often. Hopefully you’ll stop by sometime and pick up a can so I can say hi!
Back in the early 80’s when I was in the Marine Corps I would go to my buddy who was in Comm and get a can of spray silicone which they used on their cables and spray it on my tires. No sling, no drip, repels water, mud, and dirt. It lasted for weeks. So get you a can of spray silicone and you’re done.
I've been using that for years! It's not behind the counter but my O'Reilly only keeps 2 cans at a time on the shelve so I buy (2) cans at a time. I HATE SLING and this is the best stuff for tire shine!
“So sit for a moment. Wait until you see most of the water 💦 has come off the tires”...become one with the water, tire and universe. This is the zen of tire shine.
Hey I used to work at that Orielly's! We used to sell Cover All like crazy there. People would come in with their vehicles leaking fluids and having tons of problems but would come specifically for Cover All 😂
Hello from 🏴 🇬🇧, Get yourself a water filter. Once you've washed your car and rinsed it with tap water, connect the water filter to your garden hose on the inlet and a short length to hose to the outlet and a gun. No pressure washer so the filter medium inside the filter lasts longer and just rinse the car down again with the filtered water and leave to air/sun dry with absolutely no water spots at all. The filter removes all minerals from the water which is what leaves those pesky spots. I have a metallic black car which I only hand dry if I want to pamper it. 😉
Thanks for the detailing tips , iv'e been using lemon pledge furniture polish on my tires and they look awesome I also just had my truck ceramic coated using ceramic pro and the reflection in the paint is insane
for engine bay cleaning i normally wash everything down and then use the 'cover all' stuff to add a glossy coat to everything, it also seems to help keep everything hydrated too
I would not add 'cover all' to you moving parts (belts, alternator, or other items that could be damaged from the spray. But you should be safe on plastics, rubber hoses, and other items of the such.
I've seen heaps of people use the foam brush on the whole car 😑 can scratch it completely. But I've learned a bit on this video thank you, now I know not to use the brush on my wheels, bit rarely I do it but its a learning kerb :)
Here’s a tip, I made a cardboard circle cut out same size as rims….hot glued some thin rare earth magnets too line up with a couple of the steel wheel nuts(lugs for our American friends, some cases might need some spacer blocks out of polystyrene too make up the gap in deep dish rims in order too reach the wheel nuts, even easier if you have a steel centre hub) and Whooska!!!! No residual overspray ever!! Move from wheel to wheel the fold it in half along one of the ribs and place it in a garbage bag in the boot. Next version will be made out of plastic core flute, the type most realestate signs are made out of. If your not up for the magnets, put a couple of finger holes in the middle and hold it in place. Simple but effective and a time saver, years ago I stumbled on a round metal bbq lid the same size as the rims on the car at the time…..so I started using that but then changed cars and had larger rims so that’s when I adopted the cardboard version….much easier to use and easier to carry in the boot (trunk for our American friends).🇦🇺

I work at an O’Reilly’s like 30 mins from Shreveport, and we have people come in wanting to buy a can of Cover All all the time, we keep it behind the counter on account of people stealing it so often. Hopefully you’ll stop by sometime and pick up a can so I can say hi!
He listens to Ghoste and Night Lovell 🥺 I love this man
Back in the early 80’s when I was in the Marine Corps I would go to my buddy who was in Comm and get a can of spray silicone which they used on their cables and spray it on my tires. No sling, no drip, repels water, mud, and dirt. It lasted for weeks. So get you a can of spray silicone and you’re done.
IT'SME any hardware store has it. WD 40 makes a silicone spray.
Walmart has silicone spray.
Dry rot
Sounds like Jeff Hardy commentating 😂
right???
"what I'd like to do though, is to go to high pressure rinse..."
*Sprays GF*
Thanks for this info. Headed to get some. Also, love the whine of that SC...
I've been using that for years! It's not behind the counter but my O'Reilly only keeps 2 cans at a time on the shelve so I buy (2) cans at a time. I HATE SLING and this is the best stuff for tire shine!
Listening to ghostemane😎 I thought I was one of the few who did
These vids are hilarious...thanks for making my day...lmao
Spray directly on tire treads for an overall fun experience afterwards
You gonna pay for my 100k truck🤕
It’s still wild to me that one of my bros is your cousin. 🔥💪🏾 keep up the fire work on the mustang bro
“So sit for a moment. Wait until you see most of the water 💦 has come off the tires”...become one with the water, tire and universe. This is the zen of tire shine.
haha
Thought that area looked familiar, good ole Ruston LA! From a Tech Alumni downsouth in Baton Rouge, HBTD!!! Nice vid man.
Hey I used to work at that Orielly's! We used to sell Cover All like crazy there. People would come in with their vehicles leaking fluids and having tons of problems but would come specifically for Cover All 😂
Hey man, I really like this types of stuff this is really helpful!
Hello from 🏴 🇬🇧,
Get yourself a water filter.
I clicked on a video about tire shine and got this guys life story
Thanks for the detailing tips , iv'e been using lemon pledge furniture polish on my tires and they look awesome
I also just had my truck ceramic coated using ceramic pro and the reflection in the paint is insane
Yes i used that but when it rain its gone..
Interior cleaning and engine bay cleaning pleas
hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiable Chris fix has engine bay cleaning but ok 😃
for engine bay cleaning i normally wash everything down and then use the 'cover all' stuff to add a glossy coat to everything, it also seems to help keep everything hydrated too
Justan Schultz awesome thanks man I like to hear input from anyone
I would not add 'cover all' to you moving parts (belts, alternator, or other items that could be damaged from the spray. But you should be safe on plastics, rubber hoses, and other items of the such.
Degreaser and then we pressure wash for the the engine bay
Could you do a video on how to use the launch control on your mustang, I have a 2015 and I can't figure out how to use it
I haven’t been able to figure it out either!! I may have to do a video attempting to use it
itsjusta6 it's in your track apps in your info center.
Just goto your track apps. Should be there along with line lock etc etc
On my car I gotta turn it on and switch it to track mode in order for it to work
I've seen heaps of people use the foam brush on the whole car 😑 can scratch it completely. But I've learned a bit on this video thank you, now I know not to use the brush on my wheels, bit rarely I do it but its a learning kerb :)
why is the rear wheel and the front wheel of a different design? what sorcery is this?
Your car sounds like my truck. Oh wait, we have the same engine.
Lol only 1000 pounds heavier
@@oliverelizalde you know what a regular cab is?
@@umbrellaj8954 bro who cares it’s a truck
I been using this over 10yrs on the inside and outside my car
2 different rims? Anyone else notice this ? Not sure what I think about it both rims look good. Can’t decide which rims I like better.

Didn’t even notice 😱
I bought this. I love it! Your video was my push thanks!
Why the different wheels from front to back. Can't you afford a match set
Best tire shine on the market been using it for some years now....good stuff!!! #Coverall

How carry’s cover all?
0:05 turns on engine and checks if he's in neutral
bumping Ghostmane, respect.
Your Mustang 5.0 looks beautiful and it sounds like a beast
How much does it usually cost you each time you go to the car wash like this?
I do this and only spend 10 bucks
@@RoseTorn411 , So 9 dollars too much.
@@ma-um7kg ? No sometimes I only spend 5 dollars
I only spend $4
Do one on the interior!!
Hey great video! I love this stuff!! Wondering how you’re liking the ceramic coating. And which one did you get installed? 🤩🙌🏼
Down side was magnetic for dust .
Ohh nice....thanks for the post !! I'm going to look into that ceramic coating or transparent wrap.I just bought a GT Premium 2020 a few months ago
