- Hey All! This is the first show reaction on this new channel. My girlfriend Anna sat in on these with me as she wanted to see this show too. And wow, what an excellent first season this was. We have never played the games, so this was all new territory for us. One of the best newer shows I've seen!

pedro's last name is pronounced pass-kal (like pal) he was 46 while he filmed this, i think it was perfect having him play 10 yrs older and 10 yrs younger. also bella ramsey is 20 years old now!

nice that you're both wearing two earpods instead of sharing one between two ppl. you're just not getting the same experience hearing audio from just one side
Honestly that opening captures the game to perfection ..and then some...... To do the sarah scene is one thing but to do in this manner is lush as fuck the plane switch was amazing..the sound design on this is off the charts
Probably the greatest open scene to any show or film since saving private ryan or band of brothers.. not the same obviously but sam chaotic scenes ..this imo will go down as the greates game adaptation ever.....like how could it ever be beat?

@mikewatchesstuff Enjoying the reactions. I'm on Episode 4. If you want any further info on the Series, I would recommend the hbo podcast that goes along with each episode. Hosted by Troy Baker (who played buddy boy in Episode 8 and is the voice of Joel in the video games). Each episode he talks to the showrunners... Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann (co-creator of the Last Of Us Video Game). A lot of good info 👍

I never played the game but I did watch the show and binged as many reactions as I could.

@@patriziosailor She gave her rationale for why she would consider her a dumbass. She was saying that because it puts Joel and Ellie in danger not telling them, and that it would be hard to feel bad for Tess dying, because hiding that could get them killed. Thankfully Tess ends up revealing her bite. Mike, most people like you and Anna just fine. Keep up the videos!
@@jenh.924 Then she takes into no account, in her "rationale," what the premise of the game/show are, that they are living in an apocalyptic world. that Tess was coming to terms with her bite. That Tess was trying to still complete the mission. That Tess still tried to hold them together with her love for Joel and her bonding with Elle. And yes, that Tess sacrificed herself to move them forward in the hope of change for this broken world. Her "rationale" is flawed, and this is not worth watching.

Ellie is a very smart kid and reads a lot. So I am not concerned about how she knows the word jury. I am curious though about how she knows those idioms or expressions, like "jury still out" "code broken" others I forgot . Then again I don't know her whole experience in Fedra school.
