    Thank you for the upload. I’m new to this and just purchased one myself. What brand of pads do you use? Do you use the supplied DeWalt backing plate, or a different one?

      Michael Anthony I use foam pads by chemical guys, and I do use the backing plate that came with it sometimes, although I like using smaller plates (6').

    Hi, I want to buy one, but I see in others unboxing videos, they don’t bring the foam pad. Can you tell me the exact model. I want that foam pad

    hello how are you, I just bought the same polisher, but I have a concern, the smooth start of the trigger seems to me to be very abrupt, I feel that it accelerates and then slows down, in addition to feeling too much torque, I do not know if it is, I am using rupes and really the start is super smooth

    • @pinoydetailingkmdauto-moto4412
      @pinoydetailingkmdauto-moto4412  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Angel, thanks for pulling up. Normally it stays stable for its speed depending on your chosen setting. I would say you will really feel the difference which is a lot if you are used to a rupes. Anyway, im sure you'll get use to iy in no time.👍

      Never have the same experience but if its brand new, have it check by the store where you bought it from, maybe you need a replacement

    I’m looking into buying this one I’m a little confused on putting on the backing plate ?
    Also do pads just stick on to that what you call a backing plate?

    • @pinoydetailingkmdauto-moto4412
      @pinoydetailingkmdauto-moto4412  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes sir, backing plate is a velcro type plate, so make sure you buy pads that stick to velcro. :)

      What size would the pads have to be? Thank you for responding .
      I know how to use the machine but never had to buy it and get what I need for itb

      The one that came with it is an 8inch plate with 1 pad. You may buy smaller plate and pads like a 5 inch that you can use for jeweling the paint.

    Can these dewalt polishers hold a 6 inch backing plate with out any issues?

    • @pinoydetailingkmdauto-moto4412
      @pinoydetailingkmdauto-moto4412  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gabriel Vega, yes it can. You just have to be careful with your speed. I use 6in plate and pad for jeweling.

      I only own a dewalt and I am happy, durability and price. Makita is lighter though and maybe easier to handle for beginners. I hope that helps. Pls subscribe to the channel :) will be doing more vids this year. Thank you.

      I have tried makita as well, i didnt feel and see any difference, made research about how durable this machine is, i didnt have any doubt of getting this machine. 👊

      @@100vla9 Viewed a review compared to 9237, the 849x's speed goes down when given a pressure. Have you tried both? Thanks
