Love these videos so much, a view inside a pro shop. Best channel on TH-cam.
Free lesson right here. Thank you Jamie 👍
For real I got you for sure
This has become a great channel. Keep it up 💪. Thanks for sharing these tips.
Thank you so much means a lot 💥💥 I’ll keep them coming
Great video, one thing I would say is dont use an air compressor to blow out the pad. It wears down the foam. Just use a pad washer and you add the moisture at the same time…
Awesome video bro! Very informative 💪 Your phone was living on the edge literally for the first 3 min of the video lmao. You’re right with a rotary is a multi step correction like 3 steps for sure sometimes 4 because of getting on the initial cutting stage.
The finish came out flawless. What’s your opinion on cutting with a DA then finishing with a rotary? As we aren’t chasing the initial heavy defects left behind from the cutting stage?
I would love to hear what you think of what the DIY Gang said about the DA cuts more than a rotary?
I love the content. Just getting into rotary and this is helping my understanding big time
Thank you brother much appreciated?
So thats a 7 inch pad on a 6" plate? What brand is it, looks like a 3M pad?
Good job homie keep up the good work always best to keep it moist
I will thanks OG you already know
Is ultra fine compound considered buffing?
Awesome video bro
Thank you bother very much appreciated
I could never get the finish perfect without out using the da. I think cutting first is go with the rotary. Finishing with a rotary takes to much time for a little better finish.
I think your hand movement is way too slow when you're finishing. Slow machine speed, negative pressure and faster movement is key. It should not take two steps to remove buffer trails.
Most of the time when I’m finishing with rotary it’s been 20 years since I was using this technique it would take me more the 2 steps that’s dope that you can do it in 2 👌🏽👌🏽
@@BorndetailersTv I agree with you been doing same technique for 38 yrs keep doing what your doing
The specific wool and mf for DA with new compounds makes cutting with a DA really quick. But finishing with a rotary always makes sense as you can cover just so much area. If you use too much product, the softer pad can't break it down...so less is better. The amount your using may only be broken down on third pass. Excellent channel all round
Finishing with a Rotary gives you the best gloss and clarity far more than a DA, you just have to actually learn and know what you’re doing. I believe that’s why there are so many “detailers” these days because any ding dong can pick up a DA and claim to be detailer.
I can't keep a rotory flat without it struggling to move around
Hmm... 3M fine polish gums up real quick so i just use a tiny bit and clean the pad alot
For sure I add some water in it helps with dusting to.
@@BorndetailersTv yep I like that trick too!
Mayonnaise & peanut butter 🤢 😂 na for real tho. Great channel nice to see some proper grafters who actually work instead of being a TH-cam personality
Thank you brother much appreciated
Thanks for watching
