Your channel has helped me so much since my diagnosis! After the initial shock and anger I experienced after my diagnosis, I went through a deep depression for months. Telling people i trust was what helped me out of it. The more people I confided in, the better I felt :)

Lauren please post more videos. If I were brave enough like you I would too but I’m not. Your videos help us soooo much. You’ve given me so much hope in the darkness. We need to humanize herpes and teach people about it. I wish I was brave enough like you to publicly put myself out there but I’m not. You hold the torch. Make more videos. The fact is that because the prevalence of herpes is so high and so many people are not aware they have it-- any sex act runs the small risk of herpes being passed on. The fact that someone happens to have verified whether they have it or not should make little difference to the other person- they always ran that risk anyway. With no test the chance is 1/5000- with a positive test the chance goes to 1/1000; not that different.

Great video Laureen - you're the bomb and your courage continues to be an immense inspiration! If I could make a mini suggestion - maybe the background music could be used more sparingly. I feel that I would be able to hear what's being said a little bit better ... while at the same time being able to reflect on all the incredibly valuable information.

Whats up Nyah, pretty name by the way. It took time for me to love myself again after being diagnosed, and as a man the biggest fear I have is giving this to another woman who doesnt have it. This is why I would not date anyone who doesnt have it already

I have recently been diagnosed as like as I did yesterday for both wanted to and I will tell you I feel absolutely disgusting and angry like I didn't want this and I didn't get a choice I'm angry and I felt absolutely dirty disgusting vile
What happened and also how long did it take for you to experience symptoms after it happened thanks
I got diagnosed about either 12 or thirteen daysI hadn't had any breakout but I went to the doctor for a random and I just wanted to check and make sure I was still good test and I found out that the person I've been with prior to giving me herpesI know a lot of people stayed that you're not going to really know who gave it to you but I'm actually very particular about getting my testing done and nothing had ever shown up before

I had a guy who liked me and I liked him. He wanted to be my boy friend but I told him that we could be friends. He ask me why then I told him, he said that he only sees me for me and that we can work it out. Then a few days later he said could we french kiss I said no he said now that's crazy. He stopped talking to me and told his x girl friend everything that I shared with him. I was so upset and hurt by what happened but I forgave both of them. Anyways glad your happy with a gentleman that loves you for you. Great ending 2. ☺👍💙💚❤🙏

Yeah lol you don’t have to tell your employer about that. That’s none of their buisness you don’t have to enclose any medical information to your employer. Literally you could easily get hired without them knowing. Its not public information or a felony. It’s just a skin diesease

Have u gotten a blood test to see if u had it. They don’t test it if u Go for a std panel check up. U have to actually ask for the test. But ok.
