Thanks for the video. Will you be updating the guides on your website once the new patch drops? I reckon that it would be easier than cranking out these videos for each class or role. I'm curious to see how much the builds will change with the new hybridization changes of the new patch.
The fact that Mother's sorrow is the first set I ever put together on my first character, and it's still one of the best sets in the game, is the number one reason I still play ESO when other games have burned me by taking away gear that I grinded for by making it obsolete.
Deadly Strike and Mother's Sorrow is the "easiest" set combo for what dps it can do, on magplar. Grab Nerieth monster set and you don't need to worry about anything and will perform great in any content. side note: that :"... and my wonderful wife." at the end always cracks a smile on me, so cute Cheers
I have loved briarheart for quite awhile on stamsorc and now that the heals can crit it rivals crit surge if you use several aoe dots. I think overwhelming surge is also a great multi-purpose damage set for melee mag set ups like magplar. Not the easiest to farm because of the length of the dungeon though but I believe it’s on par with farming leviathan. Love these gear list videos you put out.
Briarheart is my favorite! Possibly the most versatile set in the entire game. For Overwhelming Surge, how high does the 5-piece bonus damage scale? It only reads 149 shock damage on the tooltip on the UESP site.
Unbuffed on my magplar it’s around 880 I believe. I ran that with deadly strike and got it up to over 1400. It makes sustaining on 4 or 5 medium pieces a breeze for solo or random 4 man groups where synergies aren’t coming your way that often.

During the recent PvP event I was taking my StamBlade Vamp into PvE with the Stygian set and did surprisingly well. Pretty easy to get Overland set from Coldharbour. Stygian + Stage 2 Vamp passive = 669 weapon damage with very good uptime. Hitting Shadowy Disguise every 6+ seconds is a pain, but it breaks LoS, gives a guaranteed crit strike, and keeps Major Resolve up from Shadow Barrier passive.
Swamp Raider is a strong niche set for Stamina NBs if you fully commit to a poison/disease bow build. Super easy to farm Overland set from Shadowfen. Point-Blank Snipe Vateshran's bow pairs well with it because you are forced into melee range anyway for Killer's Blade execute. Maelstrom 2H or bow for back bar DoTs. Swamp Raider combined with Leviathan (or Tzogvin's) for your 7 body pieces and 3 jewelry, mix and match as needed.
@@xXOni_KenshinXx It works if most of your damage abilities are poison / disease based. StamBlade front bar I can load up 2-3 bow skills + 2-3 class skills that are all getting buffed. If StamDK has a bunch of poison/disease skills then it might work.
great video as always. Funny thing, even after having access to trial sets like bahsei, siroria and false gods, I still prefer running war-maiden+deadly strike on my magplar for most content as the trial sets all have some weird condition to get their full benefit . If you are unfamiliar with mechanics, these set and forget sets are the best.
Very helpful video even after years of playing, especially under the Briarheart section (took multiple screenshots for quick access to calculations). Keep up the great work!
I like heartland for solo play as well since the bonus can also help out with healing providing +9% to your heals. I run a Senche-raht powered resto staff on the back bar for +22% healing with deadly weapons front bar.
Hello Skinny Cheeks, this is the first of your videos that I've watched. And I just wanted to say that it was very helpful, thank you for that. And also, I was entertained by the dancing man at the end. XD
My first made toon is hybrid. I had no idea what to do and just winged it. It's my favorite out of the other eight. Deadlands Assassin 5/5 and Plaguebreak 5/5. I run the mage, disease dot and the healing hot tethers, along with guardian spirit and deaden pain on my back bar, with sword and shield, that's Plaguebreak. I run stampede, execute, blighted blast bones, venom skull and resolving vigor, that's Deadlands Assassin.

I never knew about the frostbite set before, my mag warden is using a combination of hexos ward and orders wrath, i like having the shield for solo play but i dont think i could replace orders wrath either as the 4 and 5 piece bonus on it i would lose a ton of crit damage or does the frost specific stuff make up for it
for nma if you are dual wield there is a passive that mitigates the 5% extra cost also in one of the cp trees another mitigation. i run nma on a stamplar and intend to keep it.
No mention of Defiler at all. Great crit stats and procs an awesome beast that spews and stuns? The wife and I use this with the daedric monster set, our two bears and our companions, it's a circus.

This actually got me wondering, to use deadly strikes on the body and berserking warrior on weapons/jewelry. I wonder if 10%+ crit would outweigh the 5% dmg bonus from minor slayer. I find myself in so many cases that Relequen's can't be kept up because of multiple targets. The constant ramping up is not good, whereas berserking warrior is a buff on yourself so you're able to keep it up eventhough you swap targets. Though the backbar rotation has to be swift in order for it to not fall of. If there's issues with that, I guess I can always resort to Leviathan and just be at full throttle all time. Regardless of buffs. Then it would be leviathan on body and deadly strikes on weapons/jewelry. Hmmm wonder wonder..
@@steelernation4818 yeah but tbh I feel like people give it too much credit at times. Like if you can't keep up relequen stacks on a boss but you can keep up AY stacks on yourself. It's definitely worth going AY I feel like. Regardless of minor slayer
