I don’t have sound enabled on the video - the addon “Beam me up” is invaluable especially to new characters. Get in 5 high population guilds with high participation (kick policies for inactivity) and fill your wayshrine up easy.
Very helpful video. If I may, I'd like to impart a few more points that may inform others. Tip on Porting/Wayshrines: 1. The Sugar Bowl Suite apartment in Rimmen (Northern Elsweyr) is an ideal travel hub. Port to the 'outside' of the apartment and the wayshrine is a few steps away. 2. If you're out in the middle of nowhere and want to port to your residence, but be able to return to that exact spot afterwards, then port to the inside of your residence, then do what you need to do, but don't leave by the exit. Instead, port to a residence you don't own (to preview it), and immediately turn around and exit the property. This will leave you in the same location you were in before initially porting out. Tip on Armory Station/Armory Assistant: 1. One great use for the Armory is saving Vampire/Werewolf curses. For example, let's say Armory slot 1 is your main build without an active curse. You then acquire a curse (V or W), then save your current state to Armory slot 2. You can now switch between both slots to activate/deactivate your curse state. Just remember to update the appropriate Armory slot if you update the different builds (e.g., raise curse levels, update champion points, etc.). 2. Another great use for the Armory is creating a build specifically for harvesting/fishing/crime/etc. There are a lot of great slot options in The Craft (green) tree, but since you can only slot 4 at a time and the cost of unlocking them all is not an option for all players, it may be worth using an Armory slot to save a build with a Craft tree setup that favors a specific activity. For example: - Harvest build: place points/slot "Master Gatherer" (reduce harvest time) and "Plentiful Harvest" (% chance to bonus yield). * - Angler build: slot "Reel Technique" (faster catches) and "Angler's Instinct" (chance at rarer fish). * - Mounted Rider build: for players without maxed riding skills, slot "Steed’s Blessing" & "Gifted Rider" (mount speed) and "War Mount" (infinite mount stamina). I use this build for my low level mules along with a alliance 30% boost. - Thief build: slot "Infamous" (fenced value increased), "Cutpurse's Art" (better pickpocket loot). ** - Dark Brotherhood build: slot "Shadowstrike" (Invis after Blade of Woe), "Friends in Low Places" (daily bounty reduction). ** * Other items to slot with this build could include mount or defensive options. ** Other crime related skills include "Out of Sight" (lower detection), "Sustaining Shadows" (lower sneak cost), "Fleet Phantom" (faster sneak speed), "Fade Away" (Escaping lowers heat), etc.. 3. Always try to leave at least one Armory slot blank. This way, you can have the freedom to experiment with builds and gear sets. If you don't like the new build, just load one of the your other saved builds to go back. If you do like the new build, then purchase a new Armory slot and save it. Just don't save over the blank slot so you can use it as a full reset in the future. Tip of levelling other weapon skills: 1. Another option for levelling skills you don't actively use is to equip the applicable weapon on your back bar, then fill the back bar with spells associated with that weapon and/or other skills you want to level. You can also slot the Ultimate from a different weapon or skill line. While you 'can' switch to the back bar and use it in combat, the main reason for using the back bar this way is when you are out of combat, such as turning in daily quests/pledges, daily crafting/writs, fishing, harvesting, and any activity that gives you XP out of combat. You just switch to the back bar during these XP turn ins and activities, then switch back to the front bar if combat breaks out or you go back to questing. Tip for acquiring the Alliance 30% speed buff: 1. You can get to level 3 without any fighting. Take the Cyrodiil tutorial, as you suggested, but also take the "Chaos Magic" quest (Volendrung tutorial, in the same starting area) from Sheogorath. Between the initial tutorial and the Sheo quest, you'll reach level 3 in Alliance. IMPORTANT: To anyone planning to reset their toon, always go through each area that will be reset (attributes, skills, champion points, etc.) and write down what you currently have listed (minus whatever you plan to drop). I can't tell you how frustrating it is to do a complete reset and then forget the settings you want to restore.
@@KinsFluff Nope. If you reset your character using a blank Armory slot (skills, attributes, champion points, mundus, etc.), any research into crafting including armor/weapon styles, enchanting/alchemy ingredient properties, traits, etc., will always be attached to the specific character that learned them. There is no way to unlearn any crafting research; not that you'd want to. However, you will need to re-sink points back into each of the 7 crafting trees in the skills window after a reset. BTW, you never lose skill points if you do a full reset; you'll just need to apply them to every area; but this can be a good thing if you learned skill levelling up, but will never use them again. I did a lot of experimenting levelling my first toon. I was glad to get all those unused points back.
@@DarkerPsyche cool, so having 19 days left on 3 weapons, won't reset the timer back to 21 or stop researching all because I've taken the points away from metal work
@@KinsFluff The timer won't reset, but if you placed points into the Blacksmithing passive "Metallurgy" (reduce research timers and increase number of simultaneous researches), then make sure to re-invest those points back into Metallurgy when constructing your new build to take advantage of those two bonuses (reduced times and quantity).
One caveat on resetting skill and attribute points at the armory is that it can wipe vampirism and lycanthropy. So be sure to have a build saved with whichever you may have or you will have to redo getting infected.
For my guild 4:22 I set up a “port system” of houses in the motd so people can port around without looking through the roster list or using add ons or having to own any houses. But there is beam me up add on too which makes that easier or as this says get some houses in areas and it’s a free port.
been playing almost since the game came out and i just found out about the blank armory slot to reset everything, (ik the armory hasn't been out since the start) but i used to pay a lot of gold switching bc im trying to find the right build for me. Awesome stuff!
Great tips! To get more alliance points after the beginning quest, I go to one of my alliance forts that is behind the forward lines and repair walls. I do that as I am very bad at PVP and don't enjoy it. Also, double experience for AP is a great time to do the initial quest as it will get you to level 3 for the mount speed boost.
I think you missed another free way to travel. You mentioned enabling alts are able to equip CP from lvl 1 so if you have a good CP toon surely you have friends or a guild so you can travel to players to get to another zone for free too.
Something else to keep in mind. Using a blank build from the Armory also resets your curse status. So if you are a Werewolf or Vampire, you would lose that status. Free way to remove the curse, but if you actually 'wanted' the curse, you need to get bit again.
I keep blank "bitten" accounts. Heck, werewolves for all (no drawback).. And a few without bites. But if you have 2 of the same bite armory builds it is the same timer (have not tried a WW/Vamp bite build on one char yet).
In my opinion reconstructing pieces of an overland set item is better. Is very easy to collect all the pieces of an overland set, which makes the recon cost 25 and you can decon them without losing crystals. Mythics are a crystal sink, you can only destroy them, you cannot decon them to get the crystals back.
what i dont understand is how some player can reach more than 50k crit damage. i have 10k pen, 55crit chance, 86crit damage, 4200 attack(reach 6000k when buff/even 7000k with good support) i can barely reach 60k
Paper numbers don't always mean good damage. It's all about your rotation, weaving, passives, and active skills. All those numbers don't mean anything if your build is unoptimized and if you're not light attack weaving you lose a noticeable amount of dps. Always pre-buff before a fight and throw down all your aoes before doing your spammable and reapply them as soon as they end.
All players have 50 crit damage, the rest can be accessible through set, skills, champion stars and potion. But High crit make no difference if your native damage is already low.
The other way of increasing your speed is getting 5 items from the craftable "Adept Rider" Set which will also speed up your normal movement speed. It's quite useful while leveling a new character - you could actually craft it for level 1 but as the frist 10 levels are gained quite fast I would not recommend it. And because it's not character locked simply craft the set for every 10 levels (i.e. 10, 20, 30 & 40). When using the new set put the old back in your bank for your next character to use it The set can be found in Sommerset north of Shimmerene. Crafting it requires just 3 researched traits per piece - so this is also no big deal in my opinion.
I’m just getting into eso for the first time, so thank you for these videos they are making it a lot easier on my friends. Who frankly are tired of all my questions 😂❤
Unfortunately placement of siege works the same as placement of AoE. Which means placing it in the optimal location at the edge of a wall will be tricky. You have to start with locations you know are not allowed and then move the cross hair slowly while spamming to "find" a proper location. This is a lot slower than simply moving the cursor until you get a green circle. IMO siege should never use the quick cast ability. If you accidentally leave the siege slotted when entering a fight you are likely to put it down in a fight when you really wanted to use a potion. Not only doesn't the siege help in a fight, but when you die the siege remains and will likely expire before you get revived to pick it up. At least having the green circle appear gives you a second to realize your mistake before the 2 second animation of placing the siege begins. Siege really should have its own key and its own method of placing it. Not the topic but we should have an option to NEVER allow others to use your siege while you are still alive, and to let you pick it back up even if someone else is on it. Too many times I've hopped off a siege to repair it, heal myself, or avoid incoming AoE and some troll on your own faction confiscates it until it expires or spins it around the wrong way. "Get the F--- off my siege, dude!"
1:00 I know it works for heavy attacks, but specifically for lightning and restoration staves, does it proc at the beginning or the end of the channel (or both??)?
You don’t need to do a BG to get Assault to level 3. If you simply finish the intro quests you’re given in sequence (Welcome to Cyrodiil, Siege Warfare, and Reporting for Duty), you’ll be at level 3 no problem. No PVP at all and takes about 5 minutes or so. When you’re done, you’ll be next to a wayshrine to get back to the PVE world. Or continue on with PVP.
You do not have to be level 10 to get the Continuous attack skill. All you have to have is Rank III in your Alliance. While you normally have to be level 10 to get into battlegrounds to rank up, the daily alliance points count toward this, just make sure you grab them on a low level character. Any level character can get the daily alliance points and then get Continuous Attack.
Where do you grab them? Also if they are daily it’s not hard to get to lvl 10 and collecting daily points might take longer than doing the training to get enough points
Does the 30% mount increase from the Assault passive stack or cap at 30%. Example if I am currently at 10% riding speed would I then be at 40% or only go up to 30%?
i've made a bunch of characters over multiple accounts and have never not got to assault level 3 by doing the intro quest. like half of those characters i got to 3 even before finishing it
Hey One question: When I am fighting, I get 3 points for my ult, no matter if I am light attacking, using abilities or not attacking at all. I went through my skills and wasn't able to find one that does that... Did they patch that or am I being stupid?
Thanks for the video @HackTheMinotaur. You hit the mark again. I never thought about reconstructing mythics. Great tip. Heres an addon to your Fast Travel tip. Join a player guild. Fast traveling to guild mates is free and will place you at the closest wayshrine to them. Fom there you can just use that wayshrine to go where ever you want for free.
i didn't think the champion points worked if you were under level 50, or was that something in the past that they changed? i been playing off and on since the game came out soo many changes over the years lol.
I love the elder scrolls franchise. And I REALLY want to get into this game but it all just feels overwhelming. Idk what to do at any given moment. There's so many different systems and none of it is intuitive. Also I dislike the scaling. I never feel strong if everything is scaled to my level
Is there any way to rename items? Some games allow that and my wife is collecting items that have emotional meaning to her. Like her very first axe she started with.
You need to select an outfit from the character screen before the outfit station will let you do anything to an outfit. So hit 'c' and you should see an outfit drop down menu underneath the title drop down menu. Select "Outfit 1" and then the options in the outfit station will no longer be greyed out.
I would very much like an instanced battle royal plz. there could be loot. Loot could be sets potions and food. There could be a leaderboards just sayin. Somethin for the pvp ppl
Because it's the most searched build now sadly. Everyone wants to ay the game on easy mode because even though it's already super easy it's apparently too hard for some people to switch bars occasionally so everyone wants a "God mode" 1 bar build that in reality only does about 75% of the dps that a good endgame build could do.
@@showaker4755tbf 2 bar swapping can easily become very tedious. This game relies entirely on skills, rather than basic weapon attacks, so you're constantly juggling swapping back and forth as your skill timer runs out.
@@showaker4755 the best end game builds use percent-based damage multipliers and rely more on the user’s mechanical skill than actual godmode. One bar builds only do a fraction of the damage because they’re not being used by people who have that mechanical skill. I have friends on console with one bar builds that push 120k because they’re competant. Just because the builds cater to players without mechanical skill doesn’t mean they’re worthless. Doing 150k with a seamless rotation on actual content SUCKS anyway, it’s not fun. So people prefer ease of use to score-pushing, big shocker
@@MeanAndPristine one bar builds only do a fraction of the damage because they have less skill slots....which means less DoTs.....less DoTs means less dps no matter how good you think you are. 120k? lmao that could easily be 140k with a 2 bar build if someone had the skill you're claiming. Also when did I say anything about score pushing? All I said was that using a 1 bar build is playing the game on easy mode (it is) and that it does a fraction of the dps that a 2 bar build does (it does) this is all common sense.....which sadly isn't common i guess....
@@showaker4755 pretty sure 120k DPS can do everything in the game that a 140k can, with more survivability thanks to buffs. 120k is effectively godmode and 140k is simply excess. Only reason to lean that far into DPS is for score pushing. And like I said before, mechanical skill is the deciding factor. Having those DOTs on your bar doesn’t magically optimize their uptime, that’s something you have to manage yourself by practicing a rotation. A truly skilled player can accomplish close to anything in Rubedite gear that he can on a dedicated build.
Bro this video is basically useless lol Everything here has literally been repeated in so many tips and tricks videos but the majority is just common sense or the in game tips literally explain it 😂

If you have characters above lvl 50 (into CP) you can use CP immediately on a new character
Great tips! Love the content per usual! :D
Great Video mate!
Timestamps would do wonders on this video. Great info, though.
Hi! On what platform for you play? Xbox or PC?
18:15 holy crazy eyes
my guy... why is your altmers equipping MELONS.
I love the elder scrolls franchise. And I REALLY want to get into this game but it all just feels overwhelming. Idk what to do at any given moment. There's so many different systems and none of it is intuitive. Also I dislike the scaling. I never feel strong if everything is scaled to my level
Wdym re: mundane stones, "gold savings you could potentially get?"
Armory Slots should be account wide!!!!
Is there any way to rename items? Some games allow that and my wife is collecting items that have emotional meaning to her. Like her very first axe she started with.
Can you make us stam sorc pve build and /or updated stam crow
As dicas do 4:30 e 18:22 são perfeitos.
good video brother
Or a dungeon that you wud into and extract from. If you die you lose what you brought.
How does one use the outfit station pc version? all I ever get to come up is dyes and everything else is greyed out I am eso+
You need to select an outfit from the character screen before the outfit station will let you do anything to an outfit. So hit 'c' and you should see an outfit drop down menu underneath the title drop down menu. Select "Outfit 1" and then the options in the outfit station will no longer be greyed out.
Dud, Once Human not being on PS5 is so sad😢
Cool video
bruh what? i've been playing for "years" and didn't know you could just get an armory station. I go to friends houses or strangers to change build -_-
Whats that golden glimmer on your healthbar????
Is a bug introduced with U42, should be fixed in the next incremental.
Hey Mino, what addon do you use for your action bars?
👍
Beat name?
Weird cause I swear the game tells you light and heavy attacks generate ultimate 😂😂😂
Lol i knew the light attak sence i started
I would very much like an instanced battle royal plz. there could be loot. Loot could be sets potions and food. There could be a leaderboards just sayin. Somethin for the pvp ppl
Miss your creative builds bro now only one bar copy paste builds 😪
Bro this video is basically useless lol
Everything here has literally been repeated in so many tips and tricks videos but the majority is just common sense or the in game tips literally explain it 😂
I'd add stop boosting I see a lot of 800-1200 cp lvls not knowing basic mechanics
