    I have a 26 lbs costway portable washer/spin dryer
    You can put more water than you put it makes the clothes float above the propeller and with more water you will get a better clean because the clothes move more freely not all clumped up like in your video. You can put water to the top of the lint filter. If you keep over packing the machine it will break down faster, your clothes are not even moving( that's bad). To make it even easier buy a shower head with a hose and no more bucket. These washers will last years if you take care of them. I had mine for 3 years already.

      So glad I read this. I just bought my 26 one too 18 wash and 8 spin. I was worried if it would break down . Your comment gives me hope ❤

      Its good. Yes you csn fill the 26lb up to the top of filter. Also the water is supposed to be vovering the clothes. You can add about 12 - 15 pieces of clothing its a large tub. Not sure about washer pods and im think eventually the plastic may destroy the motor eventually. Ive seen powdered laundry work best along with laundry booster or borax. I like the fact that u can soak vlothes b4 washing.

      Hi, I just got a 28lb one. I have seen so many people say you have to only fill to the lines midway of filter and others say the top of lint filter. You say top of lint filter? 3 years, I think I will take your word for it.

    • @pamwood3956
      @pamwood3956 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I would think that by filling to the top of the filter it would do a better job of getting the lint out of the water.

    Becky is right, you cannot over fill that machine. I have the exact same one. The clothes are supposed to spin around really fast and you will also burn out the motor. Just trying to help.

      Really dumb question, sorry but is it not dangerous to have the machine in the tub while it is plugged in ? Especially when you are draining the water out ?

  • @kitkat7216
    @kitkat7216 ปีที่แล้ว +23

    You overfilled it. That's why it's not agitating the clothing. Fill the water first, then turn it on. It will agitate the water with power. While it's agitating then add the clothing one by one. Stop adding the clothes when you see the agitation start to slow down. This will prevent the overfill and motor burn out.

    I purchased both the washer and dryer from Wayfair some months ago. I'm disabled and this purchase has been a true Godsend. I'm disabled and hv no W/D in my handicapped APMT. However, it's only been six months and the spinner smells like burnt rubber and it does not spin enough to get the water out of the clothes. I have troubleshooted and done everything I know to do except for taking off the back panel. Then as my luck would have it, my dryer completely stopped working the next day. What's concerning is I've only used these maybe 10 times since purchase. Thank God I bought the 3-year warranty on both with Allstate. I called Wayfair and explained to them what happened and they could not get ahold of anyone about this warranty issue. So, instead they are going to replace both units for FREE!! What I would love is the knowledge of how to fix them so I could donate them to those in need. I know the feeling of being homeless bc I only get a grand a month from SSDI.
    I'm not finding any videos online to help me. Sooo, I'm reaching out to as many peeps as I can to see if anyone can help.
    Sorry for the length of this post.

    You're over filling it, it goes round so much faster and they wash better when they aren't clogged together like that

    Put less in . Your saving money by having this but your gonna kill it by overloading. Less load but more washes will make the life of it last. You keep adding more and more.

  • @iamme3518
    @iamme3518 ปีที่แล้ว +16

    That poor machine is going to burn out in no time, because there's far too much clothes with not enough water. The clothes aren't floating, they are just being made heavy with an inadequate amount of water. It's just resting on the impeller, which will cause the motor to have to work a lot harder. If you have these machines do not do this.

    It’s unfortunate that your overfilling that. Then we get bad reviews on these machines because people break them. By not doing the right thing. Then come on Amazon and say this machine stopped working after three days. Gee, I wonder why.🤦‍♀️

      @@Ripley841Yess !! I.use a towel for the bathroom floor and it ended up getting soaked like three times when I first bought my washer cause the drain pipe kept falling off the hook, so I threw it in, washed it and it spinned so well!! I even put my baby's comforter into the spinner. It's really a blessing, I couldn't be more thankful for these such inventors !

    Omg. You stuffed it. Your going to burn out the washer. This is not a full size washer. It cant move clean or spin. And its not 12 pueces if clothes. Its up to 12lbs. Wet u probably have 20lbs of clothes in it.. u can start a fire. And you have way to little water

    What is a better idea is to turn the washer on with the water on add the soap and add the clothes then you can gauge how much room the clothes have by how they move around then you will know when to stop adding clothes

    I'm definitely buying this machine soon, live in apt its expensive to wash & dry in apt building laundry.
    Their are not enought machines in my apt laundry 2 are broken.
    I will definitely save so much money, will be more convenient to do my laundry at home for my family.
    I also want to buy the ventless dryer too.
    Much love from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 ❤🌟

  • @Southphxgal2023

    Please don’t take this the wrong way but it appears that you put to much in your washer, maybe try adding the water, soap, turn on then add the clothes. You may have to do more loads but I think your clothes will turn out cleaner. When the clothes stop swishing around then you have to much in the washer.

  • @blancaortiz2204

    Alexia...you ARE PUTTING TO MUCH CLOTHING IN AND THAT WILL BURN YOUR MOTOR....you can get a shower adapter with an additional shower head and cord and that way you dont need buckets..that's what I do..so much faster and easier...put when done, Its hung on the edge of inside tub.
    ...just saying...😊

      Check your hose...make sure it's on drain..not standard...put always the washer inside your tub or shower...that way no water on floor..I put a nylon sock tie to the hose to catch all hairs and stuff..works great in tub or shower..
      Clk the hose to make sure it's not lose..
      But try the tub or shower stall...you can use a extension cord like me if the cord is not long enough...

  • @felixmadera3618
    @felixmadera3618 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    You added way to much clothes, that's why it spins so slow.. clothes are supposed to run freely and not clumped up like your video shows. That will burn out the motor as it is over working to do each turn. I doubt it is doing it's job like it's supposed and if they come out clean that's because the clothes were not really dirty, use common sense.. it will last you nore than it should.

    • @slightlycurved
      @slightlycurved ปีที่แล้ว

      I also said the same thing no one else mentions the filter. I wash 3 times and 3 fabric softener. Then I'm usually done so I remove the gilter and rinse. So far it's very clean so not sure why it has to be cleaned every wash or end if day.. it was hard to remove but a little pressure and it comes out.

    You are totally wasting all of your detergent those pods were measured for full size washers You're putting too much soap in those clothes You're wasting it and you're probably taking out a lot of the color of your clothes by doing that You should buy a liquid and you should only put like a tablespoon or something in at a time.

    Never heard till now you can use tide pods. I hear don't add too much soap... definitely looking at purchasing and thank you for the extension cord question as my plug is too far for length of cord. I have a shower stall so want to be able to have electrical go over the side wall (round stall) to prevent anything beingbto low since no tub. Thank you!

  • @maineapple52
    @maineapple52 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The best way; the most accurate way of adding the right amount of clothes, is to weigh it. Get on a scale and then pick up the right amount of clothes that equals NO MORE THAN 12 lbs. The suggested weight by the manufacturer is "WET' weight. Otherwise you will burn out the motor. You have way too much in that machine, sorry to say. If you want it to last, you have to take it easy. ;)

    Oh goodness, you shouldn’t have to touch the clothes when you put them in the washer. You put too much in there. I’m sorry, but I had to laugh at you pushing the clothes down and moving them this way and that way; it’s very apparent that you are saying it’s fine and you can do this and this knowing full well you filled it too full.
