    I bought this washer also.
    I watched your video before deciding.
    True ❤
    A time saver.
    My clothes are cleaner than they were using the community laundry room.
    Do replace the intake hose with another one because the one that comes with it will seep.
    Going on 2 & half years now using it.
    “Must have”🥰

    Thank you, Julia! Your videos really helped me decide which washer to get. I bought the same one and got the dolly and beige cover like your black one, too! I store mine in my living room and it is unobtrusive with the cover. The original smart plugs you have no longer come with the energy monitoring feature. Had to return those and found BN-Link smart plugs that work just like yours. They are fantastic! For 8 loads of wash AND dry with my Panda SF40 (9 pound) dryer, it only took energy that cost me $1.75 TOTAL for 8 loads! That's compared to $14 at our community laundry facility. This little washer is a gem! And I love love love the dolly. I do shake out the last of the water from the hoses at the end before I put it away and also leave the lid open for a while to air out before I put the cover on it. The lint filter is easy to clean after each load or so and does a great job. Haven't cleaned the other filter yet at the bottom back, but it looks easy enough to unscrew and wash. Thank you again for all your videos. ❤

    Genuinely makes me happy that this is accessible to buy. Not a lot of people have money to buy an expensive washer or cannot have a "traditional" washer in your apartment. It's expensive & inconvenient to go to public washers when you suddenly run out of clean clothes.. An occasion that pops up and you need clean; dry clothes... life is hard! Many people either don't have a car, enough money, or a support system and it just makes me happy that this is on the market. The reason I'm considering into buying this is because the modern washers either don't have a middle agitator, doesn't fill enough water, and hardly moves to wash your clothes.. I need something with strength and that won't cost me an insane amount.. very appreciative of the washer we do have and I'm able to use. God bless you, stay strong , stay safe and be kind to one another..🙏❤🌎

    As it’s automatic rinse you can’t use manual filll unless you stay with it and put the rinse water in. The manual says no. It won’t work unless connect directly to a faucet and with high enough water pressure. Many of the cheaper models that you have to swap the clothes over for rinse and spin can be filled with a bucket. You will void the guarantee if you fill manually.

    Thank you for the review!! Mine is being delivered tomorrow, I currently have a portable washer that is side by side with the spin dry and it's hell. The machine is beyond loud, rocky and shakes, and has to be at a higher level in order to drain properly, but it shakes so I have to hold it 😩
    It looks like this one doesn't have that issue, that you can leave it on the floor.
    My laundry is covered in my room. Can't even see the floor. The depression and anxiety is building every single day, takes me almost 1 hour to do 1 load in my current laundry machine because there's so much physical labour with it (manually fill it with 4 buckets of water AND have to do this 3-4 times to actually get the clothes clean). PLUS the spin dry beside the dryer is so much smaller than the wash. So I have to fricken dry in small batches.
    Anyway, excited to use it and boost my mental health, thank you a bunch!

    Hi Julia thank you for your videos. Your videos were the first ones I watched when I decided to purchase a portable washer. Question? Does your drain hose still have water in it once it’s done washing? My washer has about 1/2 cup of water remaining in the drain hose once I’m done that I have to drain out manually. I’m trying to see if I’m doing something wrong?

    Hi Julia, I was so happy to find your videos regarding the Black & Decker washer machine. I just purchased one and love it so far. Just one question... based on the load time (small, medium, large), does the water level remain the same? I did a medium load and the water level was not very high. Any suggestions?

    • @JuliaCaban
      @JuliaCaban  ปีที่แล้ว

      The water level increases based on load size. It’s possible whatever you were washing absorbed a lot of water. I would test it a few more times

    Do you have to manually go and refill the water after it has finished the batch, or does it refill the water automatically? If it is automatic can you perhaps explain a bit about how it works? Thank you so much for the video!

    • @JuliaCaban
      @JuliaCaban  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It works as a regular washer - it fills it automatically, drains it as well, just keep the faucet on - the washer will stop the stream of water by itself, so you don't have to be present to control it - super convenient! :)

      @andreasbn 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @JuliaCaban

      It didn't ruin plumbing in my over 100 years old apartment :) I think landlords like to get extra $$ from communal washer/dryers - at my complex they wanted $2 per 30 minute of wash cycle... 😅
