I’ve seen all the internet golf videos. None say the same thing. I’ve never learned to swing from watching videos because they’re so complicated. You come along with this swing and it changed my game. Thank you!!! Why can’t anyone else make it this easy? Bravo!!

    LOVE THESE VIDEOS!
I was taught golf by my grandfather a scratch golfer with a half to 3/4 swing. That’s all I knew. I went through life with a 3/4 and it bought me a full ride scholarship to a div 1 university. Now I am a grandfather with a half swing teaching my grandkids a 3/4 swing.

Hello Jimmy, I'm 73 just had quadruple heart bypass surgery last Nov.
I golf twice a week in senior leagues. But I lost my swing. Pulling pushing topping shanking, with irons. Thinking maybe it's time to give up golf.
Until I found this video and your channel.
I can't believe how this and your other videos has fixed my swing.
Thanks and keep up the good work.

Well done Jimmy, this video has literally changed my golf, I'm still a 28 handicap but i'm now hitting the ball straighter with longer distances. All this with a reduced backswing & effort. I feel I've got more control and i'm very confident my high handicap will come down very quickly. Keep up the great work from Melbourne Australia

I’m over 61 (4.1 handicap) and have been using this swing thought for a couple months now. I wanted it to increase my consistency, but I’ve been really surprised I’ve gained distance! About 10 more yards on the irons and about 20 on the driver. This way of swinging just syncs up the body and arms better and with better center face strikes, it’s been amazing. Keep up the great work!

Jimmy- 70 year old golfer starting to really enjoy golf thanks to you. thank you so much for the "half-swing" concept. No one believes this is a good idea until I show them I can hit a three wood 150 yards. That's all I need to play a good round. Thanks-and I thoroughly enjoy the basic-ness of your teaching. The humor works well too.!

Was out with my regular playing partner recently. He showed up with beautifully coiffed hair instead of his usual mop. When he went to swing he kept saying, "Turn and wave to the camera. Nice, easy swing." Went he went to putt he kept saying, "Hi ladies. Can I join your hot tub party?" He proceeded to beat me by 10 strokes. That's when he told me about Jimmy Tropicana.

Boom! Playing golf for 50 years. Currently at a 15 Handicap but a long way off from my goal of mid single digit. Taking lessons from a Pro but still looking for “Consistency” in my swing. I finally found it in this single video! With a half swing and FULL rotation where my chest is facing target I don’t lose any distance, my spray chart is grouped closer than ever. A lot less topping the ball too. So easy and repeatable. Thank you!

I started playing golf about 2 years ago and have watched thousands of TH-cam videos from all kinds of coaches. None have simplified the swing like you. The right hand waving to the camera with a smooth swing has been everything for me! Consistent contact and straight shots are now normal for me. I am consistently breaking 100 and have my sights set on breaking 90. Oh and hot tub putting just plain works. I even got my buddies saying it now on the green!!

Yup this is my swing as well. Also note that feel vs real is different. Example, I’m feeling I’m doing half swings but when I see my video, my club goes further back. I use jimmy’s tip with the simple swing cuz it finds the center of face and that will produce distance. Smooth = power believe it or not. So my swing is, grip it firm but let the wrist move freely, half swings, smooth temple, keep head down after you hit ball, head will follow after. That formula got me puring all my clubs including 3w and driver. Temple is key.

I play a lot of golf. I'm 68 and naturally my swing speed is down. I've been riddled with injuries and surgeries due to a wreck as a teenager. By putting a bit more weight on the front leg and basically turning around the front leg, it is stack and tilt with a short backswing. That is how I am going to approach this since I need a swing change due to more limitations in my swing. I can get to just past parallel with my lead arm in the backswing. The wrist hinge in the backswing is very important but it makes for a super strong grip which for me is a bit tough because I am a pull hitter. I do believe I can work with this. Thanks for your videos. What kind of irons are you using in the video? Initially, I thought they were Takomos.

Stellar! The biggest variable in golf is learning how to “shallow” the golf club. Takes a lot of practice. Not simple. This eliminates that variable! The club is already shallowed when you begin the backswing. You get your distance from using the big muscles of your lower body and elbow position at the top (or mid). You don’t throw a baseball or football with your elbow tucked to your rib cage, aka, Shawn Clement’s Wisdom in Golf. Keep those arms and wrists relaxed. You’ll subconsciously grip the club tight enough at impact. This video is a game changer! 👊🏻

Hit whatever will keep the ball in the short stuff then go hit it again. 3 150 yard shots and youre putting for par every time.

Greetings from Sydney , Australia Love the video. I have always struggled with distance namely coming over the top and effectively slicing - I have a few games lined up over the next few weeks so Im definitely going to try your teaching method and hopefully save a few strokes and try break under 90 for the first time ! Thank you Paisane

By far the best golf instructional video I’ve ever watched, and I’ve watched a lot! Love your attitude towards the game. Please tell me you apply the same approach to other challenging aspects of life with the same degree of success & enjoyment? If so, you sir need to write a book. Bravo 👏

I discovered this swing in 2018 by accident. I had 162 yds to a hazard. I wanted to hit to the hazard but keep it approximately 30 yds away from it. I hit a 9i like this but caught it flush and ended up almost into the hazard. Doing a 1/2-3/4 swing plus putting my feet closer together changed me from a 95-110 golfer to a 78-85 on average golfer. Topping the ball is less prevalent in my game now too.

Great advice. I’ve been using this technique and it has made a big difference in my game. I have added one swing thought…I feel like I’m taking the club head out to one o’clock with the swing. If I don’t, I have a tendency to pull my hands in. Keep up the great work!

After being injured for 3 years I went out and played. On the 3rd hole I have to clear the ditch
which is 240 yards or you will make a big score. From the white it is 384 yards up hill so the
slope from the 150 is actually 180. I made it over the ditch and the ball was straight on my
first swing using your method. I pulled some shots and I have to do the box drill. I shot 78
which is high for me but at 76 I was happy. I will let you know how things go after I do
many hours on the range. Thank you Jimmy. It works.

Tried this technique yesterday directly on course without trying it at range. Did it work.... Yes 100%. Ok 98%😂 as couple shots had my club closed so ball went wild.
For past 4 to months i had lost my feel. But yesterday after long time it felt better.
    Thank you
