I still long for that old r&b sound but I understand what Bryce is coming from...its dead. My fav songs will forever be 'Keep Trying' & '10 minute high'
RnB is never dead you just have to know how to be a part of it and use it at the best of your ability and don't worry about somebody else being in the forefront as long as you're apart of it that shit doesn't matter cuz you are part of history
My first time hearing groove theory was back in '95 or 96 off the movie soundtrack Sunset High, the song was called" Its allright". That was grooving!
Amel been my celebrity crush since day one! Lol. Still listen to Groove Theory and Amel solo stuff to this day! Her Infinite Possibilities Album is a classic. One if those albums you can just press play and let it go.
Bryce Wilson is fine as hell beautiful skin, face, lips and smile. He also was in Toni Braxton’s You’re Making Me High video as the pizza guy.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Loved this group back in the day. Amel, has several other CD's that are amazing.
I never could understand why everybody called both of them gorgeous, but I was a kid then so I had no clue what good looking really meant. My mama said he was so cute, and I didn’t get why she was just glued to this man. As an adult now, those 2 could have got this good stuff without much effort...lol.
Keep Trying and Never Enough ( Love Jones) is my fav songs by them. And tell me is just R&B classic
Especially Keep Trying
@@elliot2177 for sure
Classic
OMG "Never Enough!" ❤❤❤
It’s cool that someone is still thinking about what was essentially a one hit wonder but for this genre. It’s typically pop or rap songs that get highlighted when it comes to one hit wonders. Tell Me was for sure a great song back in the day. I might still have the cassette single floating around somewhere lol
The song “Tell me if you want me too” and” Baby Luv the remix” was my jam back then.
There is no neosoul movement without this group - Tell me changed everything
New subscriber! Loving this channel! 🙌
Tell Me is truly a classic, my youngest daughter at 17 is listening to this song in 2024... absolutely loves this song
I have EVERY CD put out. She is my all time favorite female singer. I LOVE her music.
Honestly I understand where Bryce was coming from when he said that R&B is dead because in reality it is.
I met Amel in Australia when tell me popped off, she was beautiful in real life. Also meet my first gf to that song at a club lol.
I love me some Groove Theory. Their first album will always be my favorite
“Your day is coming though it seems far, things will be clear when you love who you are. Lift your head to the sky and keep trying. Believe in you and it will take you higher”. They simply don’t make music like that anymore
