    Man, just hearing about "Piper's Pitts" gets me depressed! Roddy Piper was just one of those special, one of a kind, unduplicatable (No matter how hard or how many people have tried!) personalities that just stands out and is simply unforgettable. When I first heard about him passing, I honestly couldn't believe it...I always thought he'd be one of those wrestlers like Ric Flair (70) or Terry Funk (He's 75 now! I can't believe he still wrestles albeit rarely!!) that someway despite all the odds seem to survive everything and keep on ticking. I would've loved to met him and listen to some of his stories, he always seemed like a great guy to hang out with.
    . I swear, even if he just made debut now in today's wrestling scene he still would've been as big of star as he was back in the day! That's something not a lot of wrestlers could say, since a lot (not all) of them were just lucky to be in the right place, at the right time rather than being successful because of their talent or ability. He just had that special something that so many people have try so hard to obtain but always fall short of.

    It's such a damn shame that the only two Grand eras in the WWE that Piper's Pit had never made it's transition to were the New Generation Era the Attitude Era. I mean wouldn't it be grand if the late Great Roddy Piper had done this with all the others like Triple H, with DX, Stephanie, Chyna, and others, like The Undertaker, Mick Foley, Chris Jericho, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Edge, William Regal, Christian, Lita, Trish Stratus, Kane, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall etc. I mean sure, he did one with one Attitude Era Vet in Stone Cold Steve Austin, but it would be that amazing though if only Piper had lived and brought back that segment in those days man.

    Piper’s Pit = least surprising #1 entry reveal of all time on this channel lol.
    Seriously though, fantastic idea for a Top 8 list, and all solid choices. If it were a Top 10, I’d have to shoehorn Carlito’s Cabana in there at #9 or #10. As a fan who watched Smackdown exclusively for almost the entire Ruthless Aggression Era (we couldn’t afford cable), I’ll admit that it was no Highlight Reel, but it was cool to have our own equivalent. I’ll never forget MNM’s debut and Big Show’s death via poison apple.

    Best set designs were The Flower Shop with Adrian Adonis and The Snake Pit with Jake, best host with the most shit that went down has to be Piper, he even interviewed a jobber and it was gold. You can find Missy’s Manor on TH-cam, and it’s horrible, but it’s got Missy in her prime, in some very nice outfits, so it’s worth a watch.

    The Dirt Sheet was the epitome of juvenile idiocy. It was a very ppor man version of DX.

    "Benoit's Tragic Weekend" sounds like a parody comedy film from 2002. The kind that usually say on the poster "from the producers of Epic Movie"...

    I know this was WWE but the occasional DDP chat segments in WCW were always great. A shame the E ever gave him a go in that capacity.

    Finally my dreams have been realized, Wrestling with Wregret, my favorite TH-cam talk show doing a video about wwe’s top 8 talk show.
    That’s talk showception right their.

    • @Goldnfoxx
      @Goldnfoxx 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Would you really call this a talk show? Talk would imply dialogue, and you can't have dialogue with one guy. ?

    • @monkeyman5866
      @monkeyman5866 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Toph Morris I mean does monologue count.

    • @Goldnfoxx
      @Goldnfoxx 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Monkeyman58: I honestly don't know, and it's bugging me. I always assumed that talk shows were called that because of the interviews; you know, the people talking. But I suppose by strictest definition, just one guy monologueing to a camera is technically a talk...show. This sort of thing is where my need to compartmentalize things in my head gets me in trouble. 😂

    • @monkeyman5866
      @monkeyman5866 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Toph Morris I totally understand what you mean 😂😂😂. How about it’s a talkshow but not a talkshow?

    • @Goldnfoxx
      @Goldnfoxx 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Monkeyman58: So that would then make WWW your favorite TH-cam talkshow that's not a talkshow doing a video about WWE's top 8 talkshows. Somehow, that's better and worse at the same time.
