    Nice video. I have just decided to upgrade my old home theatre set up (Sale weekend) & bought 2 of these bad boys (2x PB-1000 Pros) to go with my 2 older SVS PB12-NSD which will be moved to the back of the room now and the 2 new PB1000 Pros will now be up front paired with the new Marantz Cinema 40 that I have also purchased along side the 2x SVS PB1000 Pro Subs and will be paired with all KEF Q950's tower speakers front and rear - KEF Q200c centre and Definitive Tech speakers for back surrounds(older Marantz sr7011 used as an added 2 channel amp through the Cinema 40s back surround pre-outs driving those Definitive tech speakers) + 4 Klipsch Atmos height speakers to make a 11.4.4 system. My house is currently in the last days of being painted & decorated so I have not had time to set this new home theatre up for the first time yet and have my first listen(excited to do so). After new carpets installed in a few days it will be finished and I can finally set this bad boy up. I was already hyped for this new system but your video & reaction to what you heard in your similar audio home theatre system has officially made me very excited to set up and listen to my own new home theatre sound system. Thanks for hyping me through the roof hehehe

    Thanks, thinking of changing to 4 subs - However, to get the benefit do I need to have 4 matching subs?

    • @homecinemaking397
      @homecinemaking397  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you go 4 subs you will never look back. Yes 4 of the exact same subs because the system gets split into 4 zones basically and you want them to register the same.

    • @cgott42

      @@homecinemaking397 thanks - I currently have 5.2.4 with 1200W subs built into each of the front towers (Goldenear Triton Two (orig)), so I can't exactly match the subs w/o putting 2 Triton towers in the back (don't have the space). So I was thinking of putting two 1000W Goldenear Sub (ForceField 3) in the back (I can get 1200W but it'd be MUCH more expensive). Separate Q (since I can't make things rock in order to avoid disturbing wife - is there a way to set a LOW cutoff - so the AVR won't send a signal below that level to any of the subs (also helps to keep them in sync)

      @@cgott42 as long as the subs are more or less the same they will work, like example Def tech 9080 towers front and two DN12 back. Then for sound late night on the Denon and Marantz units there is a LFE feature that does limit the amount of LFE that travels thru walls ext.
