Also, I've always wondered which was better, the older Polk RTi12 or the R700...
R700 by far👌
The price you quoted for the 5.0 set of Reserves is amazing. Do you have any still available in stock?
No this special is long gone and its about double now.
@@homecinemaking397 it was a very good deal👍🏼
What was the volume and crossover on the db10, db12 and db15 then?.
Way to long ago i cant remember
I am getting pl1 h in 1500 aud and px2 pro in 2700 aud. Which one is good buy sir? Is it worth 1200$ difference? My use is in just dark room. Pls reply
Yes its worth the extra go for the PX2👌
I own these speakers. Which streamer do you recommend for a better sound?
Try a Wimm or bluesound
@@homecinemaking397 thnka m frinds
Thanks for your great channel and reviews Which is better this or n40? Kind regards and best wishes
Thank you. Model 50 is better but you need to add the cd50n also so it ups the price allot.
Did the subwoofer activate on that video?
No it was not.
Pls compare them to the polk R700
What's so sad is retailers are not setting these up properly. I heard these when taking my buddy to look at TV's and the store just had them sitting on a shelf pumping into an open room, they sounded muddy and flat. So glad I heard them at your place where that mid-punch was there and they were amazing for movies and music. These were amazing, likely as good as my Cornwalls in certain ways at a quarter the price.
So true👌
I have not seen any reviews about the Krix speakers in magazines or on the Internet. I wonder why ? And also forum web pages and TH-cam
Not hugely popular outside of Australia but a very reputable brand 👌
I was listening through my headphones and I must say, the Polks does it for me. Horn tweeters are harsh in general, so R700 all the way baby.
I was just about to buy the 603s3. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
Still a good speakers, the 7 series is just that much better.
@homecinemaking397 thanks for the reply. I've brought some Focal Aria 948s instead.
What do u thought about the v12 then?.
Good subs especially when used in multi sub config.
@@homecinemaking397 are the v12 better than deep blue 12 and 15 then?.
@@ulflarsson9693 yes they are, Velodyne is to unreliable .
@@homecinemaking397u meaning that the amp in deep blue are not so good as in the old v12 model than.?.
@@ulflarsson9693 Velodyne as a whole is not reliable, they go bankrupt every 2nd week and have again pulled out of representation in SA.
Which equipment do you use to switch between one set of speakers to the other?
A speaker selector.
Hi....is onitor audio silver enough for only movies.....or is gold better......and.....can i combination monitor audio gold c250 center with audio silver 500 sir for fronts home thater
Both are good enough but you will need a sub also. The higher up you go the better the quality gets. Keep them the same and try not to mix, unless its surround or high speakers.
What speaker of the 2 or are they other speakers ud pick mostly for movies and tv shows i have a denonx6700h
Also look at SVS speakers👌
@homecinemaking397 thanks will do but are the r700s great for movies also
@@jordanking9744 they are good for everything yes👌
One of my RP-1600sw subs blew after about 6 hours of actual play time (2 months from purchase date) to my horror it was the woofer itself that had blown, the gain was set to max 7 on the subwoofer and -6db of the receiver for the hottest of listening but more commonly was set to 6 gain on sub and -7db on receiver, max -10db master volume on my receiver for hot listening and 80hz frequency..For certain genres of music the subs can go very low and move a lot I also noticed the heat sink can get very hot.. it was replaced from the dealer I purchased it from but since that I really pet them as my confidence levels has dropped significantly from all the klipsch ads of how improved, durable and invincible these subs are .. note: in my opinion I believe the amplifier is having a hard time moving the subs can possibly be a bit underpowered especially before these subs are broken out properly this can possibly be the reason for the amplifier heating up to this extent.. I guess I’ll never actually hear the advertised bass these subs are capable of producing definitely not going to risk it..
Mine is the amp
19:00 The "wobble" you describe here is not actually happening. This is a video optical phenomena that you will only see on screen. It's because when the driver moves at the same frequency as the frame rate of your screen (or the frame rate of the video), it will only look like it is "warping" because of how the picture on your screen is updated and the way that digital cameras record video (from the top to the bottom, one line at the time). The phenomena you see is called "rolling shutter effect". If you want to know more about it you can google that term.
I'm awaiting my pair very eagerly. I plan on using them even when I build out my Atmos setup, at least early on. For now, these are replacing a set of speakers in my room I've had for 15 years and I am so excited to hear how well they play my music, games, and movies.
Enjoy them👌
I have the Same product sound is so warm
Have you listen to any sub from jtr ? 🙂
We unfortunately dont get them in SA
Nice review.
Thank you👌
Didnt know about Preset 1 and Preset 2?
Planetworld service has always been far better than homemation. Nothing to worry about.
Not by a long shot but you are entitled to your opinion.
The new range RP series subs from klipsch are phenomenal.
No doubt but only time will tell if they can last as long as SVS.
A lots of reports in the forms are starting to come in about people having trouble with these Subs. Don't get me wrong I love their speakers I have many in my home theater. Because they still use the cheap plate, amplifiers class( D) if you will I think this problem will always persist who knows what the future has in store but I would, definitely look in a different, direction going forward if he's already having trouble not, even using his all that much you can only imagine how much trouble you have on a daily usage.
SVS has way bigger holes for air to come out that's way it's better at knocking down the bottle
Hey home cinema king so in my country trinidad d guys at streamline systems Ltd says that not much svs has been sold since covid is like 3 per year while klipsch about 20 per year that's alot for klipsch being sold
Klipsch is most probably the best selling speaker brand in the world.
Hopefully you don’t have to keep connecting Bluetooth it does tend to loose it mostly when starting a new day in car. 🚘
So far this one keeps connection i just need to unplug and replug it from time to time.
Still not comparing apples to apples. The SVS makes considerably more power. I noticed that the SVS has more port noise than the Klipsch. Awesome vid!
yeah and i dont like it
RP1400Sw or SVS PB2000 (non pro) - for small rooms (3.40mx4.75mx2.33m)
Hard one and i would try demo both…Both are very good subs👌
Zeplin Marshall????
I dont understand tje question?

Hi home cinema king I wanted to know after all the subs you've tested which is your best for movies and music in 12" also I looked at your demo videos they are really great so would a velodyne sub x12 or db12 beat svs and those dn12
If i had to have only one i would go SVS, they are just the all round champ.
Home cinema king do u still have the dn12 and how would u come it to velodyne impact x12 and it is still available
Also what do u think about bose acoustimass module especially their 700 bass module does it stand a chance against those subs
@@lyndonramchatesingh105 rather dont ask met how i feel about Bose…
Sorry I asked I know how alot of people feel about it so I know it doesn't stand a chance I was actually thinking about going with svs sb3000 and klipsch rp8000 ii with my yamaha rx v6a receiver

Dead 8 month's later lol I hate Plate Amplifiers.😫😫
Do you know of any good A/B amplifier powder subwoofer I can buy that will last thanks in advance for your time 👍🍺👍
Yes plate amplifiers are Trash !!!😢😢
Vodka is good for many things but not for speakers, lol;l
🤣 not even, at-least then i would have a excuse…
Is that woofer frame made of plastic?? Looks like it, but surely not at this price point?
It is, remember its still there entry speaker. Drivers and proper but price cost will be implemented where they can.
They might be entry level for SVS, but they're still not cheap! Anyway, hopefully you get these and the Klipsch sorted quickly! Keep up the good work with the videos!
@@Rorzzaa yes, what is cheap now days…klipsch is in and ill update shortly👌 thanx💪
Replace with air core inductors, make sure the quality of caps is high. Check for magnetic parts in current path and do hard wire. You can make those in to very hi quality units like ones that cost 10 times more pay attention to roomand good short cables to amp a interface to satellite with higrade signal leads. Some expence to that type sound but years of listening pleasure, worth it
God bless you brother thanks for this video when you have a chance try to compare with music to see what happens
Will do when the Klipsch comes back👌 thanx💪
Svs i wouldn't doubt will help you out. If not peerless audio makes them parts express carry Them. I got a set of gloss black svs towers for under 500$ for a pair still in box best deal i have ever got.💯👍✌️😉💪🇺🇲
Peerless is out of business, pexpress has Blackstock on lots of models and madisound has great stuff also, Danny thinks all speakers could use some no-rezz sheets inside box.
I mis typed the word back stock
@larrygaines7462 don't trip I do it quite a bit to .I still understood you. When did peerless shut the doors ? I wounder how svs is going to cover warranty they probably have the last of there stock. I wouldn't doubt there going to be new models released soon by svs.💯👍✌️🤔😉
@larrygaines7462 ya Danny does like to push that no rez apairintly no one uses the currect thickness of wood and the currect amount of bracing for his liking to not need it he uses it every time he gets a chance. Lol it's also quite expensive 💯🤑🫡👍✌️
@@larrygaines7462 Blackstock matters
So far my SPL120 and RP-1200SW are working fine. I can really notice the extra power of the RP-1200. When I watched Interstellar for the first time a few weeks ago I thought the thing was going to blow up! The woofer excursion was unlike anything I've experienced before.
It's and I hate to say this but there are alot of reports are coming in about these sub going south sorry to say please buy a better sub that doesn't have a cheap plate amplifier😮
There a lot of reports coming in these cheap plate amplifiers just don't last good luck my friend 😊
@@TheNLHAZE I'm not just going to get rid of a sub I only bought a couple months ago and get a new one just because it MIGHT have a bad plate amp. I replaced a cheap working 10" Polk sub I've had for years (part of a 5.1 package) with the SPL-120 and then added the RP1200SW. Neither of my other Klipsch speakers (mains and heights) have gone bad either. I don't run my system that loud - always less than reference - and I have plenty of bass to spare in my 13x16 bedroom. Besides I'd rather spend any extra cash on other things.
When I did have a plate amp on the downfiring 10" sub I called klipsch & they sent a replacement one right away & it wasn't even under warranty. No joking. I like doing such like that anyway so didn't mind putting it on myself. But the original one lasted for quite a while & the replacement is still booming along, gave it to my daughter for her 2 channel system.
Things happen
Visit Acoustic Arts, Western Cape, Ben Van Der Merwe 😊
Well, this is life things happen my brother nothing to be too depressed about
Only destroyed one 7 in, your lucky lucky. I went through 3 dome mids two amts and 4 beston ribbons last build of a system in a year
How much new driver cost? Peace ✌️
Ouch. I had the same thing happen with a JMLab speaker about 20 years ago. One of my Siberian Huskies tried to squeeze by and knocked it over into a wooden chair next to it. Also scratched the cabinet. They were only a few months old. If I ever have a tall narrow speakers again they’ll definitely have outriggers for stability
Going to add something to these also to make them more stable👌
I use pro amps (2,000+ watts) to drive my passive 18" subs. Used with Active crossovers in line to the amps to kill everything above 110 Hz. Best way to do subs. Plate amps blow chunks.
Do you have a website I may go to thanks in advance sir for your time.
I have a velodyne hgs 18 20 years ago with the plate amp died and got a new when I send the old where I bought it from then.
I got the previous 12 qnd 15" and had to replace the amp on the 15" after 2years .Dont think i will ever buy klipsch again
