I had one for a week. Sent it back. First, sometimes I had artwork, more times not. Second the app on my Mac Book Pro would stay open for maybe 20 seconds. Now it will not even open. And help? Nope Sound was good. But it was the art work I wanted to see.

I'm just putting together a Klipsch 7.4.6 system. I'm going to go for 2 x RP1600SW for epic low bass but want to add to smaller subs to give a tighter punchier bass as well. Should I go for a pair of the PB1000's or a pair of the PB1200's to accompany the pair of 16's? Please let me know your thoughts? Thanks.

Klipsck many problems with his amps.

I have two. The first series that has a firing for the first gen iPod, and the first series "wireless" Both work well and the sound is very good. We listen to classical and other acoustic music. Recommended

the klipsch sounds better because it hasn"t that port chuffing and more control of the driver and that rattling is annoying .

In 2022 i buy a spl-120, one month after the end of warranty the same problem as you, plate amp dead, so now i have an pb1000 pro from svs

Is there any way to set the bass on the Rialto's in the App or on the speakers themselves (e.g. by EQ)? I have a small room and I'm afraid the Rialto's are going to be overpowering in the bass department😅 Did you also test them on a TV (hdmi) for TV sound as a replacement for a soundbar? That would be great, the Rialto's for proper stereo and good 2.0 movie sound.

Would you say these have a smoother sound than B&W? Sometimes I find B&W can get a little fatiguing after while with certain music

SVS makes a lovely pair in these ultra evolutions. I found them adverted for 899 USDollars the pair delivered.

I had an Alteck 19 with an Au 20000. That was the best parring of Amp and speakes you can have. The Parasound Halo A51 and Klipsh Harisy speakes is even better reaching Nervana

I have one,The sound is vary full and gives you what you want while watching a 72" smart TV. I have Klipsh speakes and an Onkeyo 9.2 recever.

The microphone placement and gain had way, way, way too much to do with the sound in the video The bass was clipping on the inner pairs, and way less in the RP-7. In "real life", this would not be the case. IMO, the mic input was set too high, and its pickup pattern was too narrow. All things being considered, I would spring for the RF-7s without any hesitation, "sight unheard". Sorry for not blowing as much sunshine around as some others, but that's what struck me.

Never been a fan of Klipsch or JBL. I like the SVS also Polk

What amplifier are you using to demonstrate the subwoofer strength

I have the wiim mini optical out to Emotiva TA2 powering Q Acoustics 5040 speakers and a sub. Will swapping the Mini for the Ultra in the chain really make a huge difference? I stream with the WIIM mini app using Tidal and also a NAS....

Klipsch are built to a price, avoid them.

I owned the SVS ultra center for about 2 years and never was happy with it. Sold it and bought a B&W HTM71 S2 and am really pleased with it. Better mid-range, more base and more dynamic range.

I have 2 of the SPL 15 inch subs, both have blown amps, and now the actual speaker is broken, very disappointing and I can no way afford SVS of anything like that, so I turned the other sub off, and I shall have a sub less home theatre

Klipsch has had problems with the sub amps for for decades now..

These La Scala speakers/cabinets are known for having a serious shortage of low frequencies, even though they have a 15" woofer in a folded horn cabinet. Wouldn't opening up the "outlet hole" in the cabinet for the 15" woofer increase the lower end bass response? Why is this a rectangular hole and why isn't it round?

I dont see many talk about the brand M&K besides this guy @shaunrichards744 But i run M&K X15+ Sub along with a dual 18 sub with a bridged crown 2502 amp (2400watts). It is expensive yes, but it is worth the extra money for sure. My sub goes down to about 16hertz.

Can you get Miller and Kreisel in SF ? I have been using a M&K V-125 for 30 years and it gets worked out very day. Goes down to 20hz in room.

I recentlly grabbed 2 RP-1400's. I hope the plate amp issues on the 1600's are not present on the 1400's. Best bang for the buck here in the US are made by RSL. Fantastic build quality, customer service, and performance/features.... Ive read RSL (Rodgers Sound Labs) been around for decades in California and have not seen a single bad review of any of their offerings. The reason I went with the rp-1400s is because they are on sale right now for 50% off on slickdeals. Anyway...RSL makes the 12s speedwoofer for $799 which hits subsonic frequencies with ease They have a 10s for $499 And a 10e for $299. The 10e is just 100w less output and no wireless reciever built in. I would say its the bang for the buck king here in the US as all of the speedwoofers from RSL perform like a sub one size bigger from most other manufacturers.

You got to be kidding me. The Bowers are way way better. The Cabasse is muffled and boomy. I guess the bluetooth generation will get that type of sound. Compared to The Bowers they sound like crap. Crazy ears and comparison. The midrange and everything else is way better on the 703 S3

I purchased the RP1200 in August this year. In this category of subwoofers, it’s the only brand with a reasonable price-at least here in Brazil, and that’s if you import it through Paraguay, haha. So far, I haven’t had any issues. I watched your review of the RP1200 and RP1600. I’m sorry to hear you had problems with the RP1600. Did you experience any issues with the RP1200? Thanks!

One more question can you use this on TV screens?

Can u use this on movie poster frames and the plexiglass thats on them? If so does it get rid of micro scratches on plexiglass glass or gloss speakers?
