For those wondering.... after you press the learn button on the motor.... hold down the button inside your car until the motor light blinks and clicks. Then its programed. Good to go.
On 2003 Lexus GX 470 and a genie garage door opener, the genie manual directions are vital. Page 11 to 13 on pdf manual. On vehicle, you hold buttons until slow blinking then fast blinking. Otherwise very similar.

January 7, 2023 I was just programming my 2015 RX-350 and it ended up being HOLD far left button on mirror for aprox 1+ second to initialize a 10 year old Chamberlain LiftMaster Professional garage door opener. It took a few tries and it 1st appeared to be [use 2 buttons] to end up being, press and hold for 1 second+, then release the Lexus RX-350 rear view #1 far left button. I also found that you can apply the RX-350 as the #1 remote then re-add your 2nd car and the 3rd door opener in succession, as in re-program all 3 in a row. It is super simple. 30 seconds for each new opener to learn.I hope this helps someone else.

My garage is multifunctional. Nobody shows how to pair with the light functions. 😔

You left something out bud! When you went back to the car and pushed the first button you did not state whether we push it and let go or hold it in
