I really loved this video! I have always wanted to do this, ever since I saw how stunning old containers are. But I was not sure if the bullet size would fit. I think I will try it now. By the way, to make the bullet shine again you can very briefly touch it with a flame. That is how they do it at Bésame when producing their new vintage style lipsticks.

The blendercleanser solid pro charcoal soap by Beautyblender is a fantastic soap for cleaning makeup brushes and tools. It cleans off cosmetics products effectively and quickly. Hello I just purchased my first vintage lipstick holder kinda like yours and I was wondering how to get the lipstick off.... Do you think boiled water will get the lipstick off cuz the tube is made out of metal?
Have a go popping it in the freezer, it may help slide the lipstick out. If not, cut it away as much as possible and maybe use an oil based product to break down the lipstick then give it a through clean with some tissue. Let me know how you get on! Good luck.

Nice video ! I really want to try this,next time put the lipstick in the freezer it will come right off and the cleaning will be a lot more easier.
I did put the lipstick in the freezer, all day, it was just a really, really soft one eeek.

Next time freeze both the lipstick you want to remove and the lipstick you want to replace it with it’ll make it a lot cleaner.
