They get violent when you ask them about it and say you’re stupid or you’re crazy and they go into a fit of rage and say that you’re always accusing them or questioning them and they kind of turn it back onto you or at least that’s been my experience.

EXACTLY! That's how it ended. I asked him why he said he was going out to get something from the store and I felt weird. So I got up and looked and we already had it. WTF? When he got home, he ran into the shower & acted overly happy. I just looked at him. I told him, Listen, we already have what you said you needed from the store so where did you go? Automatically, he started saying I was always getting jealous &( no, I should have gotten way more proactive) then he's starts babbling about how he was doing what he always does and that's taking care of me. Making sure I have everything for work. Like I'm a child. We work together so that day he started drinking. And didn't stop for 3 days. The 3rd day at work, he was so drunk he was acting strange to everyone. Then he slid his finger over his throat like in the movies, when nobody was looking. I thought he was going to hurt me bad. And he did. On the way home, he was cursing me and threatening my life!!! Repetitively and kept it up. Then I sat in the back yard to give him time to calm down & sleep. He woke up more angry & still drunk. I walked to the store and got my first beer because I was scared, tired from work, but too nervous to drink it. So I sat in the yard. He came out raging loud and forget the neighbors. I stood up and he grabbed my hair pulling it out as he drug me to the back door. I'm in shock and scalp bleeding he went inside the house real quick & came back with the coat rack board. He ripped it off the wall!!! He started talking slow and his eyes were demonic. He said you know what id do to you if I didn't have court? I said yes, you'd kill me he said yes and proceeded to beat me with that 2x4!!! Cracked my front tooth, bruised legs and arms and back. As he swung back again, I ran. I was so frightened I hid in a tree. Trying to think of someone to call. But the Narc had taken care of All friends that could have helped me. So I took a chance and called a stranger from work. He drove by 2 times looking for me & I was so scared. I got a ride & help from strangers. My family got me a ticket and I stayed at some strangers house overnight. The next day I was home in the evening. Guess what was waiting for me?? Open arms, trust, love & mostly respect. I'm praying for us All. Blessed 🐝💜🙏🏽 Oh, thank you for this valuable information 🙏🏽❤️💜❤️💐

All this happened to me. I caught my covert narcissist wife right after the first date she had with her coworker last month. I noticed a sudden change in her behavior and that she is speaking about this coworker constantly. I spied on her and recorded their conversation. They took a half day off went into a hotel room and spent 4 hours. I also heard them say that they have had the best sex ever. This is so evil and sad, especially when you realize that you fully trusted and fell in love with someone who stabbed you in the back. I confronted her that same night and now we are filing for divorce. I just discovered she is a narcissist last week. I need to save my 6 year old daughter from that demon, she is my angel. I pray for my daughter everyday and I hope that our divorce and crazy so-called mother will not affect her life really hard

@@lisap3628 I had that gut feeling telling me this isn’t just a relationship between coworkers. My wife wanted to invite him and his wife to our house for dinner and drinks the weekend before, so I thought this would be a perfect chance for me to know more and I was right. The next day I told her that she was flirtatious with him, she denied my accusations saying that we were all a bit drunk and just having fun…
I became more suspicious and wanted to know what is going on, so I took quick actions and searched for professional spying recorders, I bought one and put it in her car. That day, they drove together to the hotel in that car and I heard him saying that he is so excited for their first time together. And that is how I became her nightmare.
Unmasking a covert narcissist is terrible as she became so aggressive and vindictive ever since and especially after I created strict boundaries around our interactions and financial support. I also stopped going altogether with our daughter or meeting together common friends.
The first few weeks were very difficult for me. But I am a righteous and faithful man and I keep praying for God’s help and guidance. I even pray for her to become a better person…
God’s burden is light. He is taking up my pain and he is bearing my suffering. Surely he is the way, the truth and the life

My ex once told me that "Steve" drove her home from work 2-3 times in the last month or so. I very calmly stated that I would prefer if he didn't. She exploded and she that I cannot tell her who her friends are. This was 5 min after I brought home dinner for the whole family on a Friday evening after work. She argued with me for 10-15 minutes about how unreasonable and controlling and insecure I am. Months later she would pick fights with me after I had some beer and she labelled me abusive. 1 week after that she picked more fights and I went to my parents for the night. She never let me back in and emailed me separation papers. She also packed up all my stuff in garbage bags and hid the cats for a goodbye and my step daughter too. 9 years wasted with her. I'm speechless. I never suspected her of cheating but now looking back....

Putting their lovers name as someone elses name in contacts or not putting a name and just remember the person and say I don't know who that is. They might say they don't like someone to throw you off. They will make time for them when you are at work or when they know where you are. Sometimes call to see where you are or get mad when you don't call to tell them you are on the way home. Alot of people cheat with their coworkers or someone they are around alot. They will tell you things to seem as they are honest with you (half truths) Get mad showing guilt when you ask them a simple question.

However, I am so pissed off after being faithful to my first husband (he died of cancer) for 31 years, only to be gaslit and tolerate his unfaithfulness……and then getting screwed over again in my second marriage (which is still ongoing for nearly 20 years)…..that I don’t hold out any hope for a faithful spouse in my lifetime! I’m not playing this game ever again! When/if I can break free of this marriage, I’ll just remain single. Apparently, my being faithful means nothing to the men I marry.

He used to come see ME at 3am so I automatically caught on to that. They will also have a lot of females they talk to that are just friends. They also tell on themselves alot because they can't keep all the lies straight. I remember every word he said. I have had 2 narcissist boyfriends in a row. The first one woke me up to it, so I saw the second ones shenanigans right away. I caught the first one red handed with someone else and he told me "no that wasn't me you saw" . I just laughed because that was so ridiculous, of course it was him. He left when he realized he couldn't gaslight me. They also get some kind of kick out of doing things like that right under your nose. Like we would go for a walk and walk right by the other girls apt. The first one used to take my dog with him. Then when I would walk her she would automatically go up to the same door 3 houses down. Come to find out, he had been seeing her for months. Damn I wish my dog could talk to this day! LoL. I'm able to laugh about it now, but then I was so devastated. I had no idea how many real narcissists there are out there! They started praying on me because I'm a really open, honest, and kind person. They mistake my kindness for stupidity!

After all the things I've done for her and she string me along for a year doing the" I need to find myself and I don't even want anything from anybody right now but I love you and I trust you..." treatment on me. There's more to it of course, but this is the comment section on TH-cam and unfortunately I'm not perfect and lost myself a couple of times when arguing with her about certain things. Therapists tell me this was a verbal version of reactive abuse on my end basically because of all the BS and things I should have never had to hear, or deal with, or that she should have ever done if she was a healthy person.
Very sad and enraging stuff after all the confusion and lies... Feeling a lot better now after not talking for almost a week and having blocked her number. Hoping to stay strong I'm hoping I don't run into them, I will be hard because I live like three blocks away.

She claimed she was having an issue with her body but never mentioned anything until I brought up our celibacy. I’m exhausted from worrying and concerns over another person. Lies, gaslighting, and when we were having sex it’s like there’s no emotion. She used to be a beast in bed. There’s so much I could share….

its grown stale and predictable thats why. its almost a chore to have sex now. regardless if you want to save the relationship or end it, you need to take time apart. you cant miss someone who is always there. missing someone=attraction, attraction=bomb sex

she needs to worry about you, "am i losing him, is there another women in his life, i wonder what hes up too"? thats all signs of missing someone. if they dont feel like they are losing you? they wont change a bit cause they know youll be waiting there for them when they are finally ready

@@Tra1tors Thank you so very much. I’m exhausted from her toying with my emotions; saying one thing and doing another. Knowingly putting me in situations to try to embarrass me and she plays as if I orchestrated the situation.

I've been married to mine for 32 years. I realized he's a narcissist only a little over a year ago. Everything you're saying is everything I've gone through for the whole relationship. What I don't understand is does he know he's doing this? Or has he set out to do this to me? Looking back there have always been signs but I was young and dumb and just ignored them. There's no reason for me to stay but I feel guilty for wanting to go. I don't know what to do

It's almost like I'm afraid to know if it's true and my gut screams YES! HE'S REALLY DOING THIS. Then when reality sets in I have to confront it. 😢

The word, "narcissist" has been bastardized. A narcissist has been conflated with a manipulative, self serving, self absorbed, inward thinking, arrogant, egotistical, self righteous person. Simply put, they are not the same. You're entire premise is flawed. Keep up the good work.❤

My narc father used me (when I was a child) to hide his affairs, often claiming he was taking me to “play in the park” (he was playing around, all right bur not at the park).
He denies it to this day, even coming up with excuse after excuse to blow it off with.
