I use my VE13 as my around the house setup too
I just works for that. And I forget it is there.
the NexTool Mini Sailor would fit great in the VE13. I use the bladeless version so I can take it anywhere, but the regular would do you good around the house.
Thanks for the recommendation. I've been looking to try something from NexTool. I think that might work.
I carry the Nextool mini flagship in my Chums wallet. If my wallet gets full (rarely), I take it out and attach it to key chain hook with Rovyvon flashlight.
Ok, that makes two votes for the Nextool. I'm picking one up during Prime Day in July.
@@mfinresearch6462 I was going to suggest that too. It's definitely better than the Dime. It's scissors are excellent, and it's Phillips driver is very good too for such a small tool. The only slight negative is the file which isn't very abrasive, and doesn't have a machined edge which can be used as a hacksaw, like the one on my LM Squirt PS4 but to be honest I almost never need a file.
Also I see you're considering the Squirt PS4, just be aware that the scissors are poor on that, or at least on mine, there was so much blade play they couldn't cut much, then the spring broke and now they are completely useless. The small Phillips on the Squirt is made of very soft steel and will get nicks and burrs after a couple of uses.
Thanks for the insight. I looked at the squirt on Ebay after the recommendation and I wasn't a fan of the price for resale. I get it but not a fan. After the replies in the comments so far the Nextool is in the cart. Just waiting on Prime Day later this month to see if I can get a few dollars off the prices.
@@mfinresearch6462 I think the price is high now as it's discontinued. Here in the UK the last price it was available new at was £45 which is $57, way too much in my opinion. Could have got a Deluxe Tinker for less and imo that is superior in almost every way to the Squirt, although it isn't anywhere near as compact. Or a Super Tinker and a pair of Knipex Cobra pliers, again way more capable. I'm sure you'll like the Nextool.
I’ve tried to like the powerpint past the pliers but aside from the scissors (which are hit or miss) the tools are trash. eBay a squirt ps4 or juice s2 worked best for me
Thanks for the input. Pliers, scissors, and the blade are probably the things I end up using on the pouch the most. Might have to see if I can pick up a squirt.
