- Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel. In this video, I'm testing out a new everyday carry setup. Inspired by the need for efficiency and portability, the goal is to get as small as possible with very little hit to functionality. I'm aiming to create a compact setup that delivers maximum utility in minimal space.

Refining one’s EDC is always a cool thing to do! Sweet
It was a fun exercise. I might try more in the future.
Great vid! I've experimented with a few EDC setups and find that I keep going back to tiny 3 inch pouch. That's right....everything miniaturized. Contents include:...
1. a leatherman squirt
2. tungsten multi tool with a built-in fire striker, compass with tinder
3. an eyeglasses repair kit with magnifying glass
4. whistle
5. micro pen
6. nail clipper
7. benadryl and panadol packets with a couple bandages (mini boo boo kit)
8. a folded ziplock bag
9. a nite ize mutlitool prybar with bottle opener
10 Gum toothpick/ flosser (lol)
11. emergency cash
12. folder sheet of paper
13. a large safety pin
14. a snow mint
15 a rubber band
Lastly, I have a rovyvon flashlight clipped to the pouch's external carry loop as its too large to hold inside the pouch but its worked out well as I usually access this more frequently than the other items.
Since downsizing, my maxpedition with regular sized items has been relegated to the car. I only seem to access it when looking for random things or when putting together kits lol So in my opinion smaller is way more practical for EDC. Hiking and emergency situations like blackouts or get home bags etc are better served with the backpack type larger kits that have water bottles and large first aid gear etc. But for EDC, smaller and lighter has changed my outlook.
I agree smaller and lighter is the way to go. Glad to see someone else taking the folded sheet of paper approach.
Cool video. Keep them coming!
Thanks! Will do!
Great video! Cool concept! I need to try this exercise, I tend to carry way more than I need.
Thanks!! I love it. The only problem now is the Metro pouch wasn't the right pouch. I love the trial and error part!!
@@mfinresearch6462 Definitely. How about the utility pouch? That’s my favorite pouch from Alpaka. I think maybe I saw it in one of your videos? The GBG Mightier pouch though, that’s the one I carry the most.
Not a bad idea. I do like the utility pouch don’t know why Alpaka doesn’t carry it anymore. I might have to get the Mightier pouch. I’ve been impressed with their stuff after finally trying the mighty pouch.
Also, for a pen you might consider the Zebra F-301 Compact Ballpoint Pen. The cap slides onto the back to make it a full sized pen while remaining compact when capped.
I've had a few F-301's for years but never knew they made a compact. Going to check it out right now. Thanks!!
Excellent vid! Cheers.✌
Glad you enjoyed it!! Thanks!
Really great stuff!
The style of the video is very interesting, I liked the open discussion.
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed it!
a good way to cut down on the size of the powerbank is the Sharge Flow Mini. I's like a tube of lipstick with a little bulge on the side and comes with USB-C and Lightening plugs built in
Funny I happened to see it in my Amazon recommended the other day. It is similar to the Anker one I almost got for my wife.
