    Wurkkos released the HD10 recently. Right angled version of the TS10, which imo more flexible with more ways of going hands free.

    Good to see another video of yours!
    One of my favourite EDC items, mostly because it's lightweight and tiny, is a printable scalpel blade holder (the design of which I ended up improving). It's basically only a bit bigger than the blade itself: 0.5 by 2 inches. The only drawback is the necessity to have size 11 blades and short M2.5 bolts, but it's so tiny and easily printable, that you can have one in every pocket, with every set of keys. Even now, sitting at my desk, I can spot at least 3 around me in the room. Not to mention it's perfect as a gift - I gave one to my dad a few months ago and heard a proud "you know that I used this tiny knife of yours already?" from him the other day. The blade is protected by default, and you can rotate the blade to reveal it, and slide it deeper into the holder to lock it in place. You need to be careful with it, as you will need to touch the blade to close it, but it's otherwise flawless!
    I'm also looking forward to buying and testing some very interesting stubby bits that I found the other day. The set is called BGS 115-1.

      @EarthlingEDC  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @JK-pg2qn - That sounds like an interesting design. Is the print file available online? It looks like that bit set can come with an extra thin bit driver as well - www.google.com/search?q=BGS+115-1. That's a new one for me :-)

    I used to use Casio g-shock watches many years. Those were and are good watches, but after those i bought Garmin instinct. And now i have instinct 2 solar, and i think its The best edc watch. Not so pricy but with many good abilitys. So i think its right watch with these edc kits🤔

      @teppotepponen6652 - Thank you for your post. Those sound like great solutions for watches. Although many people don't feel the need to carry a watch because they have a smart phone, I like the idea of knowing I just need to look at my left wrist and I can see the time instantly.

    I carry the Otacle D2 also. The bits from a WorkPro precision bit driver fit it so that you can have a full set of bits in the short form factor. If one lives in a state where marijuana is legal, I have discovered that the tubes vape cartridges come in fit the whole bit set perfectly and is about the same length as the Otacle.

    You're the only other person I've seen who uses those great little USB PCB LED touch torches ! Aren't they awesome ? I've been giving them as gifts for years 😁
    I've also got a Soki field watch and 4" Chinese vise grips ! LoL
    The saw blades hold much better if you cut a vertical slot in both the jaws like I have for my Leatherman jigsaw blades.
    Reusable cable ties or a short hair tie would be better for your Bic lighter.

    You should look into making the central piece which you attach the tools, into a tool card, so it could be an emergency fishing kit, sewing kit, measurement card, there lots of different ones already out there as inspiration. It would be great for EDC.

      @EarthlingEDC  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @rickys7435 - Thank you for your post. You can use it for just about anything you want to use it for. I this video: th-cam.com/video/MjCQekjDm2E/w-d-xo.html I had set it up as a "Human Maintenance Kit". One of our viewers based in the Ukraine used it to build out a trauma kit. It has all sorts of applications.

      @rickys7435 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Firstly I appreciate the reply. I think you idea is a very clever one.
      However I don’t think I explained myself very well. My idea is to combined what you have here and add it to already available products I know as tool cards. These cards are usually metal and have pop out tools or different kits built into them. If you took one of these cards or one of your own design and added your strapping to it, you would get even more utility. It’s just an idea that popped up as I watched the video.
      Again though you have a good idea there in itself.

    Is there a rule of thumb when cutting the elastic cord to fit over the pocket racks? How long should the cord be?

    • @EarthlingEDC
      @EarthlingEDC  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ehwash - Good question. If you are using the elastic shock cord that is listed in the PDF, string it through the anchor cleats making a complete loop as if it was going to be used to hold an item in place on the rack. Then cut the cord so that the two end are touch and there is no slack in the cord. You can then fasten the end with the silicone beads as described in this video. th-cam.com/video/ZFAsJPWSyP4/w-d-xo.html Thank you for taking the time to post.

    Do you prefer the Pathfinder to the LeverGear Edge XT?

    • @EarthlingEDC
      @EarthlingEDC  7 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @ParkerBinion Thanks for posting. I was quite surprised to see your comment regarding this video. I's not scheduled to be publicly accessible until late tomorrow. Just curious how you found it?
      In regard to your question about the pathfinder vs the LeverGear edge, I like the extremely compact design of the Pathfinder and the brass is really a nice option. The Edge includes a 2d philips head driver and 2 flat heads drivers of different sizes which is really nice. I think the Pathfinder has a better mechanism for managing the blade, but in my correspondence with LeverGear, it sounded like they were making some changes to the blade mechanism following the glue issue I ran into when the blade mechanism became a bit gummed up after open a few boxes with it. Both of them have the ability to attach hex bits or a hex bit extenders (depending on the Pathfinder model) I'm going to go with the smaller Pathfinder, but both of them are quality items made by good companies that appear to take a great deal of pride and innovation in the products they bring to market.

    • @ParkerBinion
      @ParkerBinion 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@EarthlingEDC Hi Phil, the video is loaded to your EDC Pocket Rack playlist. That's where I accessed it. Oh and FIRST. LOL.
      For bits, you might look at the Steinwhale Stubby bit extender and kit. That extender takes Wiha double-sided too. The Steinwhale double-sided are extra small and hit everything I need. It's a great little EDC kit. Oh, and the Steinwhale bits fit in the back end of Topeak/OReilly's ratchet!

    • @EarthlingEDC
      @EarthlingEDC  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@ParkerBinion I'm familiar with the Steinwhale Stubby set. I was not sure if the extender would work with the Wiha bits since they are longer than the Steinwhale bits. Have you tried that out?

    • @ParkerBinion
      @ParkerBinion 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@EarthlingEDC Yes, they work! FWIW, with 1) the Steinwhale bits, 2) a few additional Pozidrive and Torx Security Wiha bits, 4) Topeak/OReillys ratchet with Steinwhale extender and 5) Vaco/Klein metric flip socket set, you can replace virtually the entire Wera Toolcheck!
