I’ve been carrying the Arc Marksman for about 5 years. It’s held up great. The pockets do stretch a little over time. I also figured out a system for carrying cards and cash in the back pocket: I sandwich cash in between my cards, with the one card I use the most in the front and the other three behind; that separation makes it easy to grab just the one card and gives me something solid against the cash when sliding it in or out.

I've been carrying that same Hide & Drink pouch since March 2022, and I have loved every day with it. As far as notebooks go, I use one of the small Rite in the Rain 4.625" x 3.5" notebooks and it slides in beautifully. My kit contains the following. Notebook (as mentioned before), one of many Fisher Space Pen Bullets that I own (I swap them around), some paracord, chapstick, OLIGHT I3T EOS, tiny medicine container, nail clippers and file, and small lockpick set. Holds it all very well and isn't bulky in my pocket. HIGHLY recommend this pouch to anyone looking.

The best is the YBO pocket pico classic carry v2.
Yelloe birch makes great stuff, veteran owned, and they have custom request options available.
Beyond just color choices too, they will make actual product changes for you.
I've had mine in my pocket every day for 2 years, I recently tried the V3 but it couldn't displace my V2.
For me it is essential to be able to remove my knife, pen, and small multitool without taking the organizer out of my pocket.
The other things I don't mind having to remove my organizer for.
I also carry a seperate dedicated wallet in my breast pocket, the organizer is just for my other small pocket items.

I've been carrying Maxpedition's Micro for about six months now. I like the capacity, which is easily twice that of any of the ones in the video. It also accomplishes this feat without being too much more bulky(fat).
The problem I have been dealing with is, once it got broken in, it got soggy, and my gear isn't being held tightly in place anymore. In fact, that's why I'm online watching videos on pocket organizers. I certainly could never use any of the ones you mentioned. I need way more stuff than any of those would carry.

I’ve been using that same Hide & Drink pouch for about 6 months. I put one of those mini Moleskine notebooks in the interior slot, but that phone charger is a good idea. On the front I have a pen, a small Knipex pliers in the middle, and in the small slot I have a Victorinox Solo as it fits perfectly and is a good knife to use around public that may get freaked by big pocket knives.
I hardly ever use the zip pocket in back unless it’s for slim flat paper items, as any oddly shaped items in that zipper pocket are being pressed into my leg all day and it gets annoying.
The organizer functions perfectly but I am still on the fence about it. While it keeps tools and pocket stuff controlled and not scratching against each other, it really does seem more bulky than I am comfortable with.
Probably other organizers would be the same for me, but this is the first one I’ve ever tried…so I wouldn’t want to blame this specific one for being bulky when others probably are as well, I just haven’t experienced them.
I just don’t know if I’m comfortable with the concept of an edc pocket organizer, if it works for me. I mean, whenever I’m walking around in public I can see people noticeably eyeing my thigh like they’re thinking “wtf is this guy carrying in that pocket?! Should I be concerned???” And I just feel odd myself having this big bulging thing sticking off my leg. (Feel free to take that last sentence any way you want😂)
I’m gonna continue using it at least while I’m at work, because I actually do need the pliers it carries and it seems to be the best way to carry them. I really don’t use the other items in there much; I actually use a pen many times throughout the day, but I have one clipped on my pocket because I need quick access to it; it just doesn’t work to have to reach into my pocket and pull one awkwardly out of the organizer, and then have to pull out the organizer to get the pen back in the right slot when I’m done with it. I use a pen way too much for all that, so the one in the organizer is basically just a back-up. So yeah usually I just take the organizer out after work, and I don’t ever use it on weekends either.

      YBO is definitely the best.
I carry small items and I'm a traditional knife user, so I love the pocket pico classic carry v2.
I've had mine in my pocket everyday for 2 years and it's been great.
Nobody else makes a small enough organizer that pockets as well, every other " micro " organizer is a joke compared to the YBO pocket pico because they're all too big.
For the classic carry pico, if you need a notepad I use the Dango products p01 pioneer notes.
That's their only product I like because I prefer a real wallet ( real wallets are leather and they fold ) , but their p01 pioneer notes is great.

My favorite EDC pouch i have been using the last 3 years has been the maxpedition micro pocket organizer. I keep lesser used items in it frankly. I keep a zippo with jet insert, Victorinox alox cadet, rite-in-rain notepad in the front webbing, milwaukee inkzall, some medication (pain relivers, flu meds, and caffein capsules), alchohol pads, neosporin packets, sterile tweezers, quick clot guaze pad, and bandaids. It is pretty much my on person first aid kit with some additions. Otherwise i keep a wallet, handkerchief, main folder, traditional slip (usually a large or jumbo stockman) and a flashlight. Now i should also mention i dont wear jeans, i long ago grew to love cargo pants with their massive and numerous pockets. If i wore jeans then i am certain my pouch would be way to bulky to fit into a front pocket but my proppers, 5.11s, and BDUs have more then enough space and dont show much.

8:57 That's actually a great way to carry it. Just make the sling shorter, so it sits (closer to) under your shoulder. For undercoat carry. Or even just under your outer layer.
I got a neck knive at home with a longer paracord string for example, so I can sling it under my shoulder or access it just over my waistband when I'm carrying it under my outter clothes; depending on how straight my upper body is lol. It can peek out when you bend over to the ground though, can be bothersome on an individual level.

About the H&D…The pen slot has a seam about 3/4 of the way down. It stops the slide in of the pen. However, you can get beyond that seam and the pen goes clear to the bottom. What sold me on this pouch was being able to use the zip pocket with using the slots also.

I routinely use some Kosibate pouches. They are similar in form to the Hide & Drink, but made from cheaper (but so far, durable) materials. They have some of the same challenges with the sizes of the slots, such that I don't bother to try to fit my main pocket knife in there (especially since I tend to carry lots of Cold Steel folders). The pen slot though, is more than adequate, even for extra-thick Smoothpro bolt-action pens that I carry in them. Instead, I make my pouches into mini tool kits - Knipex, flat ratchet with an extension and a curated driver set, DuraTech or WorkPro button-lock folding box cutter, and often nail clippers and tweezers. The zipper pouch I use for cash.

I recently bought the hitch and timber pouch thanks to this video. Actually, I love to write, and this offers me the opportunity to have a notebook on my pocket all the time without concerning too much. I just pick my wallet and the notebook is there along with a pen and my Swiss army knife. Best unintentional advertising

Glad to see you link up with Buck knives. I have a 110 lightweight that I've added a thumbstud and a pocket clip to for my daily driver. 420 HC is great if done correctly which Buck does! I also have a 118 and an original 110 folder thats 30+ years old and still keeps a good edge. They are old school high quality without the premium price.
And the canoe looks sooo nice in the jigged handle scales.
    But this isnt about Buck....oopsie😂

I'm currently using a no-name pouch off of Amazon. The 2 pac ones with the hook & loop American flag patch. You get 2, so I gave one to a friend. Inexpensive. I edc junk pens, a Sharpie, a Nitize pry tool, Zip ties (fold em I half & they slide into one of the front slots). In the zippered area, bandaids, wipes, chapstick, keychain flashlight & spare battery, ear plugs. I carry my notebook & tags, etc, in an Elocsak, in a separate pocket. Thank you for all of the great options. I do have some Hide & Drink items, their great.

I have that exact VIPERADE pouch. It's perfect, I actually don't carry it in my front pockets. I carry it in the back pocket, jacket, or sweatshirt.
I use it as a wallet (top zipper) use a thin "minimalist" metal card holder. Only reason is bc you can crack your id or cards
I absolutely love it i keep it thin. An Asher Picket, Olight I3T, O-pen, and I'm adding a pry bar but bar combo

    It’s a pocket protector. 😂
I use the Deluth Trading DOTF (Dry-On-The-Fly) Pants. They have cargo pockets. The cargo pockets have side zippers, which make accessing stuff from a seated position easy. Cargo pockets fit my leaders patrol kit, and my basic blue collar tools. A modern smart phone centric cut for the hip pockets. And they dry fast, like in the van with the heater on in- between service calls. Great matched up with a Gortex jacket and a cup of coffee in the Pacific North West. They need a wide stiff belt to support the load, cuz they got a wimpy waist hem. Deluth sells a leather pocket protector, meant to keep you from wearing out your pockets in any pants that you choose to carry your EDC in. (Jeans, Carhartt, etc.)

The Country Fold is classy AF. I have a Viperade but don't carry it unless in a cargo pocket; I find it a bit bulky for standard pockets. I wear a jacket 95% of the time, so there is that (That being extra pockets lol). My Viperade is the same design as the H&D except you can also carry a handcuff key in the logo patch.

Second the viperade pouches, I run a ve15.
    Contents
    In zip:
    - Victorinox swisscard lite
    - Set of basic bandaids
    - Duct tape wrapped around gift card
    - Small sewing kit (like what you get from hotels)
    - Acme mini tornado whistle
    - Spectacle cloth/microfiber lens cloth
    In outer sleeve pockets/molle:
    - knipex cobra xs pliers
    - parker jotter fountain pen
    - olight i3t flashlight
    - sunnto clipper compass (the one thing I think is probably useless)
    - SAK Swisschamp BitSet (just the bit set with driver/extension, I don't need another knife)
I have a SAK bantam on my car keys and a SAK sd classic on my house keys
Fits in the front pocket with room to spare, and I find myself using almost everything in the kit regularly.
Its reduced the times I take a bag and reduced the weight of my backpack when I do, loads.

I have this and have been using it for over a year and still love it. The Hide And Drink EDC Pocket Pouch, looking for a really good pen for that pocket, try the Fisher Space Pen "bullet Pen". I have from left to right, the Fisher Space Pen in the smaller pocket, the Code4 folder from Cold Steele and the Fenix AAA flash light in the last pocket. Works great for me!

If you like all these tiny mini gears then I recommend a mtw 1l sling. A consistent pocket extension that will always fit and be comfortable in any fit. I can even drive with it on my waist or crossbody.
Not sure how people here like sling packs/bags.
