    My CPAP technician didn't do a very good job in explaining how to do any of this regarding the mask. I also didn't get a user's guide in the bag she gave me which was already opened by her. I agree about the S-M size, which should just be M. I will be starting to wear it soon, but will certainly watch this video a few more times while holding my mask. Thanks!

    I tried Resmed’s nasal pillow, nasal mask, f&p nasal, all with disastrous results. Six months into my cpap journey I moved on to Resmed’s f30i which I loved except it could be a little leaky. Six months later I tried this nasal mask and WOW it seems to be the most comfortable. I move around and sleep on my side and so far no leakage.

      Good to hear my resmed f30i leaks after a month and really just get annoying

    excellent review and great tips. I can attest to number 1, don't give up on this mask which I almost did. I'm *extremely hard to fit, small face, tiny nose and I nearly sent this mask back 4 times every night. I'm much better iwth it now though I do find it crumples my nose quite badly.

    Best mask I’ve used in the past 6 years.

    I’ve never used a nasal mask of any kind. My Full face F20 (no nasal contact) doesn’t make any exhale nose. Is this noise common for masks that incorporate nasal holes? How do you sleep with that exhale nose?

    Noise is a big issue with this musk and it's difficult to turn from left to right side.

    It feels like the air is leaking? Is that normal?

    Boyant.... great word. I wish I could get someone to comment on this one question. Do different masks vent C02 better - and do some masks vent more or less than other masks. Asked another way - IF I am at 13.4 pressure.... is that essentially the therapy with different masks ?

    • @scowell
      @scowell 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Your machine has a mask setting.... nasal, full-face, or pillows. This sets pressure response as well as acceptable leak rates... all CPAP masks *must* leak some to let out the CO2... this is done by the exhalation port(s). Some masks have much bigger ports than others... some masks have 'diffusers' over the port that you can remove to get more CO2 out. I like big masks that exchange a lot of air... not a pillows fan, I feel starved with the Bleep Eclipse even when I remove the diffuser. So, answer is yes... some masks clear CO2 better than others, by design.

    Should the tip of my nose be tucked into the nasal hole or just sit on top of it?

    • @Actaeon2nd
      @Actaeon2nd 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sit on top. The nasal hole is for your nostrils.

    Anyone had any air leaks? Mine blows air right Infront of where my lips are. I tried to snap the mask and body together firm but there's a leak when the body snaps onto mask.

      Are you referring to the exhaust port(s)? All CPAP masks must have exhaust ports.

    A great mask for me, but the one that I have has a major problem that could be a design issue. The connection between the mask's tubing and the swivel is constantly disconnecting for me which is not good. I have had to super glue that connection. Anybody else having this problem or is it just my particular mask?

    • @jefftate01
      @jefftate01 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine isn't that bad but it has come apart a few times when the hose snagged the night stand. I rerouted the hose and it's better but the connection could be a more positive snap fit.

    This mask leaks nearly every night at 30L/minute. there is almost no way to avoid leaks if you move around in sleep.

      Used to do that to me also. Found out that by putting the mask on, turning on the machine and then adjusting the side straps so that it just stops leaking air, it solved it. This mask,unlike all the Resmed masks, can be worn a bit looser.

      @MrZocor There is more than one adjustment you can make, it's tricky. See LeftyLanky vid about doing it th-cam.com/video/K4rbx_8yDCY/w-d-xo.html

      Also tried it. Pulmonologist fitted it. When the resmed 11 got near 10 pressure, it made horrible farting noises and vibrated on my face.

      I tried to give time to the mask. Every time I use it got blemishes on the corners of my nose. Is that a matter of any component in the mask or could be anything else? Had you hear about this before?

    So let me see if I understand correctly, in step 5 you say I gotta download an app for a non-internet mask that you say will tell me everything I need to know for it? But this video is literally titled 5 things to know for that mask? You even admit that if I download the app itll tell me everything I need to know, so then why watch this video in the first place?
    You should just tell people they should download the app cause you want to harvest their data instead of sounding like a damn fool, or at least summarize all the videos for this mask so people don't have to download the app in the first place.

      Read the title of the video... it say's "BEFORE YOU BUY". If you have not purchased the mask, you won't have the QR code bruh. And.... why so aggressive? Dude is just trying to make an iformative video for his company and you're ready to 'Killerman" him.. Chill bro.

    I put all my masks on in front of a mirror all these types of masks blow around your face and still gives dry mouth, like you said I keep it as a back up mask. It can be a bit awkward at times to reassemble for me anyway. I keep using cpap with all its ups and downs because it can improve your overall health. ❤️🧑‍🦳🙏
