thank you James. Very informative. I have tried a half dozen masks and have claustrophobia and trauma from having my face covered. I am so happy to say that the F30 Resmed mask ! Unfortunately, when I first was fitted the company told me that they didn’t make a small one and I knew the medium was too large for me, but I tried it. It was too sloppy and I called them back and they insisted that resmed didn’t make a small F30. Then I researched and found a small one on amazon. I figured there had to be a small if children use a cpap! I was happy to find one. and I am happy to say that it works for me and I am not having claustrophobia issues. For years I was lucky if I could get 3-4 hours on the machine. Recently we added oxygen to my line and I can keep the mask on for 8-10 hours!! Apparently I needed oxygen long before we figured that out. Thanks again!
Absolutely! Thank you so much for reaching out and for the encouragement! Yes, that is strange they would say there is no Small? But I am super happy you found and that you are getting the sleep you need now. Let me know if anything ever needed I would be happy to help. Just reach out!
Thank you for your awesome review. Until I saw this video, I never knew they had a memory foam full face mask. The silicone F20 is nice. However, if you start to sweat, it makes a flapping noise on your skin that will actually wake you up and and the mask itself starts to not work.
I really like my AirFit F30. I was using the AirFit N20 for about a year and a half, but then my pressure was increased so I needed to switch to a full-face mask to keep my mouth from falling open at night so I went with the F30. Great choice!
I have the airtouch F20 and I love it! The memory foam is so much more comfortable than silicone and I have almost no leaks. Also love being able to get a drink in the middle of the night, was excited when I discovered I could do that. Another plus is that the air flows evenly into the mask no matter what position the hose is in - prior mask bugged me, if I moved the hose I could feel it blowing in a different spot against my mouth. Minor thing but caused me to constantly readjust the hose in the middle of the night. I have tried the F30i and hated it - trying to get it to sit just right against my nose and not leak was impossible. Also did not like that I could hear the air traveling through the tubes near my ears.
Yes, so glad you have found the mask that works for you! The Airtouch is a great mask I agree. I have heard patient's have similar issues with those type of mask. Like I stated whatever mask works you is the best mask, LOL! Keep it up
I thought the airtouch is the same as the silicone one, the only difference is the airtouch has an additional piece--the memory foam--that fits over the silicone. If I wanted the silicone one I would just remove the memory foam. Am I wrong?
@@jcepri It is a completely different mask, with memory foam instead of silicone. You cannot remove the memory foam. But you can swap out the two mask types on the same frame, if that makes sense.
The elbow on the last mask you show ( F30 ) has a quick disconnect/connect sleeve that stays in the hose so you don't have to wiggle and bend the rubber hose tip to slide off and on.
Yes absolutely! The mask has the elbow it is the quick release. But as I mentioned. Though it may be easy to pop off, coming back to bed and finding the insert on top of the head may be difficult. Therefore I suggested a way I prefer which was just taking the rubber tubing off and connecting when retuning to bed. Whatever is easier, just suggesting another option.
Thank you James!! I just started my PAP therapy on 3/31 and have been struggling with my mask seal. I have an F&P Vitera that came home with me from my titration study and an RM F20 with silicone and memory foam cushions. I was not instructed on how the F20 was supposed to fit on my face and will try it as you have suggested in this video. I heard about Sleeplay from Uncle Nicko so I had to click on the video link to check it out and I am thankful that I did. G'day mate!!
That is Awesome! I am so glad you liked the video. Yes, I am trying to mention the little things I have heard for many years, that so many ask or need to know. Anything you need just reach out to us. New cleaning video will be up shortly! Where I mention a couple things patient's have asked as well, might be helpful. Have a great day! Tell Uncle Nicko he is appreciated and you as well!
Thanks for making this video, and sharing, I am new to CPAP, and have an F20 currently, but this Friday going to exchange it, and get a F30 which is perfect for me that I can use my CPAP while Im reading before sleep. Thanks again, good info, snd much appreciated.
Absolutely! I know a lot of people struggle in finding the right mask, it is the most crucial step to therapy I believe. I am glad you found a mask that works for you. Your very welcome and let us know if anything is ever needed! We are here to help. Enjoy!!
I originally started therapy with the Phillips dreamwear full face mask with the Phillips recall for the magnets I was issued f30i wide as a replacement mask and like Gayla have a lot of trouble getting it to seal. Some nights in the 50- 60 liter/minute range. Sometimes the velcro on the head gear unhooks. I'm going back to the Phillips dreamwear mask.
Hi, Yes, that is a lot of the times the problem as I tell patient's with the Hybrid mask. There is a new mask like the F30 and Dreamwear I believe it well be the game changer. It is called the Evora Full Face by F&P check it out. That manufacturer creates there cushions like a wing shaped design that wrap around the sides of nose where a lot of the leakage comes from eliminating that issue. Please let me know some feedback if you decide to try, I would love to hear how it went.
Your welcome! Glad I could help. Yeah most clinicians etc. throw the mask or machine at you and wish you the best. Let me know if I can assist with anything else at all, I will be happy to!
James, it’s your man Jahfar! Hope your doing well! Thanks for that F20,working great. I also have a F30i and wanted to add instead of removing the José at the top, similarly to the f20 you can pitch the two clips on the quiet swivel nozzle and it will disconnect you so you don’t have to disconnect the hose and the nozzle! Love the vid brother, keep ‘em coming!
Your 100% right about the simplus being a high pressure mask, before i was using the airfit f30i and when i got to 15(my main pressure)it was to impossible to keep it from leaking like crazy and itd shut itself off..the simplus not only feels great but handles high pressure like a beast! zero issues with it outside of i cant get real comfortable side sleeping with it yet, but then again i could really with the airfit either lol
That's Awesome to hear! Yeah, I guess having any kinda of mask covering your mouth and nose or any part of the face, Is not going to be comfortable really , LOL!! Appreciate you sharing! Let me know if anything is ever needed.
Had a big problem with my F&P Vitera swivel 'ball & socket' hose fitting: the air flow on mine is greatly reduced if the hose swings to the side. It's ok only if it's straight to the front and extended outward. Because I was straining to inhale unless I manually held it in place, I hot glued it in place. It worked great until I rolled on my side while asleep and the stress popped the hot glue. The reduced airflow was enough to actually wake me up struggling to breathe. So I got out my handy e6000 rubber cement and that holds it in place so I can breathe now. ARGHH! Also, sometimes the silicone flap gets stuck and blocks my exhale. I tried a ResMed AirFit N30 and struggled with it wiggling out of place constantly - on max tightness. Then my nasal passages swelled shut at the higher pressures, so back to the Vitera for now.
Hi, I am sorry to hear that. If that mask is a problem for you, I would possibly try one of the mask that connect to the top of the head. Maybe the F30i by Resmed since that allows you to toss and turn without a tubing hanging over the shoulder.
The Quattro is my mask . I have tried all those and they don't work for me. The Quattro is very comfortable. With the Quattro it's like you aren't wearing anything.
That's awesome! I'm so glad you found a mask and for sharing your experiences. As stated, the best mask is the one that works for you. Thanks for watching and sharing. You're appreciated keep it up!
I started CPAP therapy on June 20 and I can't seem to find the right mask. I'm on my 3rd already after 24 days. They gave me the Resmed nasal pillows a few days ago and I keep waking up with my mouth wide open. (They asked if I sleep with my mouth open, but I didn't know, so I went with it. Turns out I do.) Before that I tried Resmed's F30i and then changed to the same type by F&P because the Resmed kep making this Pffft noise under my nose every time I breathed in. The F&P kept dismantling in my sleep. I'd pull off a plastic piece in my sleep and it would be off in the morning. I also hated the straps. A friend suggested I try the nasal pillows after that, but the open mouth issue is not good, so it sounds like I need a full face mask. As a last resort I may try Resmed's F20 and try my best to get over the claustrophobia by watching TV with it on.
Hi Jeff, So by the 24th day you should have been practicing honestly with one mask the whole time. To see if you could get used to and if not what was wrong , so you can be fit with the correct mask. I usually recommend to all patient it is going to take at least 2 to 3 weeks if not the whole 30 days to get used to a mask. The pillow mask I would not recommend to start with as though it is the lightest it is the hardest to get used to. The nasal type mask especially that one you want to try to breathe through the nose. When you open the mouth it is a strange feeling almost as a choking sensation for the time being because you can get used to especially with that one it is harder. The Full Face is annoying and cumbersome a lot of patient's quit because it is not comfortable period. My favorite not to be bias and one I recommend to all patient's is the N20 by Resmed. It is the best of both worlds really and a great starter mask to determine what you can and cant do with the mask and breathing etc.
@@Sleeplayground Thank you. I've since gone back to the 1st mask (Resmed F30 i) because I can tolerate than one the best. I definitely need a full face mask because I know I have my mouth open a lot. Th next day after my first night with CPAP I noticed I was more clear-headed, but it's been downhill ever since. I feel more tired than ever. I wake up 95% of the time without the mask on and I often don't remember taking it off. I think I could get used to the F20 with time. I hear about all these life changing stories, but I'm wondering if I'll ever notice a difference given I haven't gotten any benefits yet. On another note, I have learned d99% of what I know about CPAP on your site vs. the company I deal with, so thank you.
Hi James. Thank you for sharing your video. Well I started out with a resmed mirage swift for her it was ok but then I realized I'm a mouth sleeper. So they switched me over to a full face mask and I sure didn't like it. So I went back to my mirage swift for her but then in the middle of the night my mouth opens so I started taping my mouth shut and wearing the mask. But then in the middle of the night my mouth tape was moist more like wet. Because I must droll I'm kinda stuck btw a hard shell and don't know what kinda mask to use at this point. Can you please help me and what would be a great mask for me? I do have a latex allergy. I thought about trying the dream wear face mask idk if the air flow comes out of my nose or mouth when it's on 🤷 or does my nose just sit on the cushion.
Hi, Thanks for reaching out! As I always say that is what typically happens. Patient's are using a nasal mask and are switched to a full and right back on the nasal. Because in the end as long as your are benefitting comfort is what matters. So let me ask, is your therapy being effected negatively by the mouth breathing? Are you bothered physically by the mouth breathing? Or does it just bother you seeing that you are mouth breathing? The reason I ask is as I tell patient's. If you are opening your mouth and leaking using a nasal and you are leaking with a full face from the silicone seal the same. If you are getting the same benefit from either and you are comfortable. Why not use the more comfortable mask with less on your face which is the Nasal? The Dreamwear does just cradle under the nose and connects to the top of the head, as well as the Airfit N30i. You may not even have to where a chinstrap or mouth tape if you are still benefitting. What type of machine do you have, that also may play a factor.
Hi, Not specifically! If you go into my options you will see on the list climate control. It will be on Auto press and select with your finger and select manual. Once you do that it will go back to the list of options. You will see the humidity level appear and you can increase one level at a time each night until it is right for you. Let me know if that helps for now I will try to do a video on this subject shortly.
Hey Mike, I would say it could, but you are probably going to get a little more leakage with the silicone mask and facial hair. I recommend the Airtouch F20 with the memory foam cushion for the facial hair. If you want to do the hybrid mask like the F30 I would say go with the Evora full face version by Fisher & Paykel, they hold stronger pressures looks like a great mask. Let me know what works for you.
I use the F30 for the last 9 months. I have a full beard. I think you need to put it a little tighter. It might affect it's durability thou. The Velcro on mine is not sticking well anymore and I have to fix it during the night. I just bought an Evora from F&P hoping the head set will last longer. I must say the thin strap on the F30 are hurting the back of my head a lot even thou I bought a cushion. I have 0 leakage but I might have wore it too tight.
I have been using the Quattro for years, but i want something new. I heard they don't make it anymore. What's the difference between the symplus and the vitera? I got the vitera and can't get a proper seal with my 18 setting.
Hi, Thanks for reaching out! Yes, the Vitera is similar to the Simplus. Simplus is the original and seems to hold very high pressures. At 18 cm you are bound to have some leakage with most mask. Sometimes we tend to tighten the mask so tight is actually causes the leakage. Maybe try loosening the mask to allow the air pressure to create a seal. Se if that works as well.
Hi James thanks for the video, I am a side sleeper and I use a full-face mask. I think it's a Fisher Paykel. My mask does not fall down and kind of goes up the nose Bridge which not only makes it leak it also leaves marks on my neck to the point bleeds. I like to look of the mask with the hose on top of the head, would that work? Also because I need to wear splints on my hand at night so adjusting my mask is very difficult. Any help would be much appreciated. Oh I also forgot to mention I use a bipap
Hey, Thanks for reaching out! Yes, the top connecting mask is supposed to help people who move around a lot. But they might not keep the greatest seal, maybe try F30i or Dreamwear Full Face in that category for the top of the full mask. But if you would like the hybrid mask and it still connects to the front. The same manufacturer Fisher and Paykel make the Evora Full Face. Fisher and Paykel makes great mask for high pressures and this is a hybrid that should do the same. I literally just did a video on sores with mask, it should be out by Wednesday. But the last and most important thing I stress, is please do not put the mask so tight. You are causing yourself extreme discomfort all for the sake of leakage. Leakage is important in certain cases, but not the main goal, especially if it is hurting you. Loosen the mask a little and allow the pressures to create the seal within the silicone cushion. Yeah marks on the neck bleeding is no bueno. Please let me know if any of the suggestions worked. If not we will figure out some other options for you. Appreciate you, James Curles
I just started using for about a month. I had to go to the full face because my mouth kept popping open. Mine is the last one with the hose clip on top of my head. My issue is leaking. The mask with the hose clip on front…how does it work with side sleepers? I sleep in my side and I wonder how it would work with that and if it works well then I might try the foam. Does it pull if you sleep in your side?
Hi, Thanks for reaching out! So it would be thrown over the shoulder or body. Or you can get a stand for the hose perhaps. With using the CPAP and benefitting does eliminate a lot of the restless sleep and tossing and turning. The Mask that connects to the top of the head is better for moving, but the issue is due to the under the nose the seal it does leak more.
Hi James, thank you for your videos . Very informative.. I have 1 suggestion and 1question. Suggestion is that you should also talk about connectivity for the oxygen line.. most patients use oxygen support along with BiPAP. I don't have any idea but I was told that oxygen supply can be added to this apparatus. Question is :For a patient who is used to just a simple oxygen nasal cannula, which mask would you recommend to start with ? A nasal one or a full face mask.. recommended settings are 8/4
Absolutely! That is another great full face mask. As I mentioned in video we were just going over a few basic mask fits and sizes. Evora full is a wonderful mask though, Thank You for sharing!
I actually didn't like it. The fit was fantastic, but It's significantly louder than the F20 Airtouch and it pushes a lot more air out the exhilation ports seven when not exhaling. My partner hated when I slept on my side because that constant air flow would hit her. The higher the pressure, the more excess air comes out and the louder it is.
Why is there no vent on the Redmed? How is the used air supposed to leave? I feel like i'm breathing the same air again and again. The nose mask I used to use had a vent with a hole to blow out old air.
Hi, Thanks for reaching out. Yes, there is always exhalation ports on every mask. Besides ones that are specified mostly on ventilator patient's needed. What mask do you have I will tell you where the holes are. You would not be responding if there was not.
Hi mate , any idea why, I have the heated tube for airsense 11 , and I usually use 11 pressure with the P30i mask and is fine. But I needed a full face mask. So I bought the airfit F20 full face AIR FIT mask by resmed. And I can't breath right. I have go over 19 pressure and still feel like I need more air and wake up in the middle of the night with not enough air and need to change mask. Thank you for anwser anyone! Any good full face idea for more air , I guess?
Open mouth always when deep sleep, wake up in the night and in the morning super dry mouth , Ive tried chin strap but it is not the best@@Sleeplayground
always mouth open, wake up in the middle night or the morning with super dry mouth. I ve tried F20 but I feel I need more air even with 19 pressure@@Sleeplayground
Hi, Thanks for reaching out! Yes, it is a full face so most full face mask will have some leakage because of the bigger silicone seal. But yes you just have to adjust to find how it fits best for you to eliminate as much leakage as possible.
I have two full face mask and the trouble I have is they both have a small flap type non return valve which has started making a clicking sound and I can't seem to stop them from doing it is there any solution to my problem?
Hi Trevor, I hear that a lot. The thumping is caused by the Anti Asphyxiation (AA) valve opening and closing. The pressure typically keeps it closed and it opens should there be a power or CPAP failure. If it is opening/closing during therapy, you are probably take a long deep breath and drawing more air than the device is capable of providing. Increase pressure or consciously take less deep breaths. Turn your machine off, take some breaths, with a mirror watch the AA valve, you will see it open and close, the thumping will align with the closing of the valve.
Hi, Thanks for reaching out! I would say either you are filling the water chamber over the max line a little, try to make you are filling a little bit under the max. Or yes you should decrease your humidity level, one level at a time until the issue is resolved. Please let me know if either suggestion worked for you.
My main problem is the fit. I have dentures and have to remove them at night. I also have six natural teeth . Trying to get a good fit seems to be impossible. I can't tighten the band that goes around the base of my skull because of a nerve injury. Any solutions. I wear the F20. Why does my machine start blowing cold air? It is so cold you can't sleep thru it.
As far as the mask fit, not to sure since all of the mask especially the full face have straps to keep help to the face. I would maybe try to see if the Respironics Dreamwear full face would work or the Resmed F30i full face. If not the best bet would be to see if you can get used to a nasal mask such as the P10 which has nothing on the head and does not cover the mouth at all. It is very much a possibility even for a mouth breather. If you just allow yourself the proper time you can definitely do it. Let me know hat you decide and how it works. We are here to help, please reach out any time!
Hi, Thanks for reaching out! Yes the F20 is a good mask as well, even for the higher pressures. You will just to have to give it time and proper adjustment, to get the correct seal for yourself. I also recommend for sound, if you would like, you can swap out the Airfit F20 cushion on the same mask for the Airtouch F20 cushion, which is memory foam. Let me know how it works for you either way.
Yes, they will leak the full face you just have to get the proper adjustment. Also have you tried the Airtouch this may be more effective for you to minimize the leaks. The link is below, all you have to do is replace your cushion with this one in the correct size. sleeplay.com/products/airtouch-f20-cushion
Hi Bertha this is James, I would say to raise your humidity. But do it one level at a time, please let me know if that works. Thank you for watching the videos there are a lot more to come. Maybe we will do one on dry mouth.
Hi, Thanks for reaching out! There should be a sizing tool in the bag to fit the mask size for you. They are more Blount mask so they do not go up so high on the bridge of the nose. If that is what you are asking.
I assume you are wearing one of the Full Face with the stabilizing bars. Thanks for reaching out! Maybe try the F30 or Evora full face. The links are below for you to view. Any mask has the Velcro for sizing. A lot of patients use to take off the mask repeatedly causing them to wear quickly. Also do not make the mask super tight to avoid leakage sometimes keeping nice a snug but loose cause less leakage. I have provided the links below to the mask let me know if I can help! sleeplay.com/products/airfit-f30-complete-mask-system sleeplay.com/products/fisher-paykel-evora-full-face-mask
Hi, Thank you so much for reaching out! I don't know if your being sarcastic or serious, LOL. If anything can be easier in the middle of the night for patient's to not have to remove mask. Because a lot of the time it does not go back on. Been advising patient's that for years, hope it helps!
Hi, Yes, it depends on which full face you go with. Some have coverings to minimize the air going into the eyes, some the exhalation ports, are on top of the head. It depends on which mask honestly. But yes, for some full face mask the air does come out more than others.
@@Sleeplayground thank you I'm new to this the f20 seals the easiest for me. I have gone from a full beard to clean shave had my beard for 45yrs the nazel ones did not work for me. It would be nice to see one for a beard . Thanks for listening. Take care
Yeah unfortunately when the pressure gets very high, most mask will leak. But the F&P simplus and the vitera are great for higher pressures. Or maybe try to go with a nasal mask if you are consistent you may be able to get used to it. That mask should limit leakage as well. Maybe a Aitouch F20 with the memory foam to limit the amount of noise from leakage and the leakage itself as it may contour to the face more. Either way please let us know I will be happy to try to help.
Hi, Thanks for reaching out! So the red mark on the bridge is due to tightening the mask too tight. Sometimes tightening too much will cause leakage you have to let the mask move with you a little. If you have the Airfit model with silicone maybe try the Airtouch with memory foam. If your pressures are very high maybe, possibly a F&P Simplus or Vitera would work better. They work for high pressures a little better. Links below to view, let me know how that help or if it does. **ATTENTION ResMed DESIGNERS: HOPE ResMed has “IMPROVED” THEIR HARNESS STRAP(S)!!! Unfortunately, the straps on ResMed’s Mirage FX and Quatro Air are GARBAGE. With 12+ years CPAP usage, these harness straps need replacing after just six months. Why? Because (1) the loop-side fabric sheds to non-adherence AND (2) the straps lose their modest elasticity. Plus the two Velcro strips are too damn short - sometimes pulls apart when turning over. I’m fed-up and finally seeking alternative head gear. Have you read this ResMed?
Hi, Yes, the Full Face tend to leak more because of the bigger cushion. Possibly try the Airtouch F20 with memory foam if you need to stick with the full face. If not you can still use a nasal if you allow yourself the time to get used to. N20 is my recommendation for years. Try without the mouth tape or chinstrap but use if needed.
I have told patient's for years. Buy some bendable straws and pop off the quick connect, drink and pop right back on. That would be my suggestion makes it quick and easy without having to even take the mask off.

You cannot wear glasses with any full face mask on. Taking the mask off with the magnetic clips is easy. Unhook one side and slip it off. And you can wear glasses when you go to the bathroom. Putting mask off and on becomes easy with experience.
Absolutely! It is just a little more comfortable and easier with the mask, without the stabilizing bar. But you can wear glasses with other mask as well for sure.
I have the resmed F30i and I am experiencing severe dry mouth as I do sleep with my mouth open and cannot sleep with it closed. What can I do to help correct the dry mouth? I turned up the humidity to 80 and I am still experiencing dry mouth
You can turn up the Humidity level it should be standard on 4. Increase one level at a time until it is right for you. Put the tubing temperature back on 81 degrees that is what was changed not the humidity level.
As someone using a cpap for less than a week these videos are so helpful. Thank you!
Your very welcome, thank you so much for watching!

Memory foam terrible for me. The small is longer than the silicone so i get pressure point rubbing on my nose bridge. It's itchy too and not washable.

Enjoy!!
I have N20. Its good and fits well.
Thanks for reaching out! That is my personal favorite, keep up the great work!
I rotate between the F&P evora full face and the Vitera.
Hey Gary,
Yeah those are both firm mask. I love F&P they are well made products.
Hi,
Yes, that is a lot of the times the problem as I tell patient's with the Hybrid mask.
Thank you! I’m trialling the f20 now and you’re the first person to actually show me how to use it properly.
Awesome! So glad you enjoyed Jahfar, I am glad it is working out for you. Make sure you let me know if anything needed.
great explanation, i have the same problem with this mask Airfit f20 putting it too low and it was causing me issues. thanks
Glad it helped! Your are very welcome, let us know if anything is ever needed. We are here for you!
@@Sleeplayground Thanks! This is my plan exactly. I chose the Dreamwear FFM to try out first, if not the F30i next.
Very helpful very nice expland
Glad it was helpful! Let me know if I can help with anything, I would be happy to.
=)
Hi Jeff,
So by the 24th day you should have been practicing honestly with one mask the whole time.
I'm also struggling with the same issues :(
What's the "i" stand for in the resmed mask with the hose coming in from the top ?
Just curious. Thanks
Not sure, I think it is just one of the series of mask.
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out!
@@Sleeplayground hi James. I have a resmed one of the newer one's. I think I may try out the dreamwear one just to see if it works for me.
Do you have a video on how to adjust the airsense 11 to prevent dry mouth and rainout?
Hi,
Not specifically!
So if i want to change my mask ask for the F20 to upgrade to the company that delivers my supplies
Hi,
Yes if that is the mask that you choose. The F20 is a great conventional full face mask usually the size Medium is standard.
Does the f30 work well with a beard?
Hey Mike,
I would say it could, but you are probably going to get a little more leakage with the silicone mask and facial hair.
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out!
Hey,
Thanks for reaching out! Appreciate you,
James Curles
pad a cheek neck pads
I just started using for about a month. I had to go to the full face because my mouth kept popping open. Mine is the last one with the hose clip on top of my head. My issue is leaking. The mask with the hose clip on front…how does it work with side sleepers? I sleep in my side and I wonder how it would work with that and if it works well then I might try the foam. Does it pull if you sleep in your side?
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out!
A nasal one or a full face mask.. recommended settings are 8/4
=)

Try the F&P Evora....exceptional full face mask.
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out.
Why cant you use the P30i mask any longer. I am just curious?
Open mouth always when deep sleep, wake up in the night and in the morning super dry mouth , Ive tried chin strap but it is not the best@@Sleeplayground
always mouth open, wake up in the middle night or the morning with super dry mouth. I ve tried F20 but I feel I need more air even with 19 pressure@@Sleeplayground
Is the SIMplus good for side sleeping?
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out!
Hi Trevor,
I hear that a lot.
Does the f30 cushion fit the n20 frame??
Unfortunately it does not! The F30 is a full face mask and the N20 is a nasal.
When I wake up at night there is always some water in the cushion....which I have to wipe. What. is my problem? is it a wrong setting?
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out!
Yes, there is a pre-heat option or warm up. That will warm up the hot plate prior to using. That should help with the cold air.
Is the 20 good for a bipap set at 13
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out!
ResMed F20 leaks like a sieve .
Yes, they will leak the full face you just have to get the proper adjustment. Also have you tried the Airtouch this may be more effective for you to minimize the leaks. The link is below, all you have to do is replace your cushion with this one in the correct size.

I always wake up with a dry mouth . What am I doing wrong .
Hi Bertha this is James, I would say to raise your humidity. But do it one level at a time, please let me know if that works. Thank you for watching the videos there are a lot more to come. Maybe we will do one on dry mouth.
How is the F&P supposed to fit on your face.
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out! There should be a sizing tool in the bag to fit the mask size for you. They are more Blount mask so they do not go up so high on the bridge of the nose. If that is what you are asking.
The straps leave a dent in my head.

Hi,
Thank you so much for reaching out! I don't know if your being sarcastic or serious, LOL. If anything can be easier in the middle of the night for patient's to not have to remove mask. Because a lot of the time it does not go back on. Been advising patient's that for years, hope it helps!
That elbow has exhaust blows right in your eyes.
Hi,
Yes, it depends on which full face you go with.
Take care
Ex-pecially? Specially doesn’t have a letter X
Hi, Thanks for reaching out! I am not understanding I apologize. Did I make a mistake somewhere?
So sorry, none of them for me - leaking when the pressure getting high.
Why is it that I wake up every morning with a red mark on the bridge of my nose because of the BiPAP mask that I use some air Fit
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out! Bythe way the Airfit and the Airtouch cushions are interchangeable. - James

Is this supposed to cover the mouth
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out! Yes, these full face mask are supposed to cover the mouth and the nose.
@@Sleeplayground Thank you very much.
They all suck. I have the first one. Leaks around my nose and drives my eyes out no matter how tight I make it.
Hi,
Yes, the Full Face tend to leak more because of the bigger cushion. Possibly try the Airtouch F20 with memory foam if you need to stick with the full face. If not you can still use a nasal if you allow yourself the time to get used to. N20 is my recommendation for years. Try without the mouth tape or chinstrap but use if needed.
F20... "drink some water with the mask on" ???
I have told patient's for years. Buy some bendable straws and pop off the quick connect, drink and pop right back on. That would be my suggestion makes it quick and easy without having to even take the mask off.
The straps suck. The velcro wears out very fast. The strap velcro doesn't last 2 months. The F20.
