At my church, (which one Sunday fell on the anniversary of Titanic's sinking), we sung "Nearer, My God, To Thee", which actually made me cry hearing it for the first time with lyrics.

Samantha the daughter of Richard and his first wife Margaret Bradley, she appeared in the likes of London's Burning as Firefighter Kate Stevens, and as Lesley in the sitcom Shelley from 1989 until 1992.But these are great documentary's.Very interesting and must take a lot of work and time to prepare. ...

I love all HG videos but this one is extra special. Huzzah Arthur and everyone who contributed to this awesome presentation!!💯💕🇬🇧
Having viewers do this should be an annual event. This was so awesome! Thanks to all who made this video possible! 👍👍👍👍

Beyond excellent and thanks to everyone that contributed to this video. One correction on Vivien Leigh, the film was "Fire Over England" not "London" and is an good film. I can not thank you enough, it is a wonderous journey.
I can’t tell you how much enjoyment I’ve had watching these videos of UK star cemeteries. It’s been so lovely taking a trip down memory lane. Thank you 🙏🏻⭐️☮️
I swear Benny Hill was one of the funniest men in his day. I remember that show fondly 😂
A M A Z I N G!! Am British but learnt so much about celebrities I've known as performers. How beautiful are our British and Irish churchyards. So green and individual. Absolutely LOVED this video.
“They tried to make me go to rehab and I said no no no no” Amy Whinehouse favorite song of mine R.I.P baby girl

I miss her
Romie Tha homie yeah
It cannot be a coincidence that it's already Star Wars Day in my time zone and I'm watching a video featuring Alec Guiness' graveyard.
May the 4th be with you all.
Nicko Dandy As you are a Star Wars fan did you know that Peter Mayhew who played Chewbacca died on Thursday April 30 at the age of 74.
Yes, I did know the news. Chewie is one of my favorite Star Wars characters, and Peter's passing still affected me emotionally. But he's one with the Force now and I hope he'd be reunited with the Princess, R2, Admiral Ackbar, and so many Star Wars actors that had passed away. May the Force be with them, always.
@@dandynoble19 He is also with Sir Christopher Lee(Count Dooku) and Peter Cushing(Grand Moff Tarkin) Also it's nice to know that Christopher ,Bela Lugosi and Bram Stoker are together.
The 4th?! It's the FORCE !
Stanley Wheeler Wow, you didn't know, did you? "May the 4th be with you" is a play of the "May the Force be with you", used to celebrate Star Wars Day in May 4.
This video was wonderful! Seeing all those famous graves of people I have admired was touching. I would love to go to England for the pure unbelievable history of the country. Thumbs up!
Loved Benny hill my comedy idol growing up thanks HG ❤️💯💯 xxxx
Another amazing video, and what a impressive list of tributes -- Florence Nightingale, Arthur Conan Doyle, Stu Sutcliffe, Anne Bronte, and one of my all time favorite comediennes Benny Hill plus many more, love all your work. Thank you for all this.
I loved this and all your episodes. Loved that Richard Beckinsale was in there. Thanks to everyone taking part. Keep up the fantastic work.
I'm glad Richard was mentioned so young to have died 😔
Boris Karloff, Grammy Award Winner for Best Spoken Word (1966) How the Grinch Stole Christmas ~ Benny Hill potrayed the toymaker in Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang (1968)
Holy crap i had no idea that the toy maker was Benny Hill. Chitty chitty bang bang is one of my favorite dick van dyke films. Thats an interesting bit of trivia. Thank you for sharing.
@@Kyolover8 also benny had a hit single " Ernie Fastest Milkman In The West "
I take it nobody saw the memorial next to Michael Redgrave’s. it was for Jack Hawkins. A GREAT actor. Starred in The Cruel Sea, Zulu, Lawrence of Arabia and Waterloo
I saw Kins... to the left of Michael Redgrave and Jack Ha... to the right of Peter O'Toole. But then every plaque must be dedicated to a known actor as it is the Actors Church.
A great but underrated actor almost forgotten now. He had real presence just like Burton. A real class actor.
And Ben-Hur as the Roman who adopts Judah Ben-Hur.
At my church, (which one Sunday fell on the anniversary of Titanic's sinking), we sung "Nearer, My God, To Thee", which actually made me cry hearing it for the first time with lyrics.
This was a masterpiece, thank you Arthur and to those that contributed to the filming of the famous grave sites in England. 👏👏👏👏👏
When you announced that you were going to try this experiment of having viewers submit their own videos of local cemeteries, I really didn't think it was going to work. But it's been just fabulous! I don't know why visiting these graveyards is so entertaining, but it certainly is! Thank you so much for doing this for us!
RIP Vivien Leigh, Charles Chaplin and Amy Winehouse 👏🇧🇷
Amy!!❤
I'm trying to find Vivien Leigh, do you know where in the video her grave is? Thank you
I read that one of Queen Victoria's daughters (second daughter Princess Alice) worked with Florence Nightingale.
I loved Amy Winehouse I still do I was 5 when she died and I didnt quite understand death. My poor 5 year old self. I was obsessed with her.
As always.....stellar! Fascinating material, presented perfectly! One of my favorite channels, and presenters. Well done Arthur!
Never clicked on a video so fast in my life lol
Never typed an overused comment so fast in your life
Same here... The one was brilliant
Me too
Wow! Just....Wow! Thank you contributors and Arthur for a fabulous episode! Wish they were all 47 minutes!!
Dusty Springfield’s marker made me so happy ❤️
She was one of the greatest singers ever. I loved that soulful, smoky voice..
George Formby’s grave is shared with his father George Formby Sr., himself a major music hall star. It was originally the father’s grave and George Jr., was buried with him.
Wow 8 years tomorrow for Amy with that's crazy it still doesn't seem like that long ago💔
Facts almost 10 years Now
Well done! Thank you to those that took us across the ocean! Was very excited to see another one of your videos ❤❤
Love it! Thank you to all who submitted these wonderful memorials! And to Arthur for putting it together and sharing with the rest of us! Stayed up late last night to watch and then I re-watched it today! Can't wait for the next one!
It’s amazing that you’ve been all over the country and even Europe to visit these graves! Thank you so much for your documentation of all this wonderful history

i love your videos, so respectful to the dead and you are also teaching us about their history so their life wont be forgotten. thank you.
Benny Hill, R.I.P. still love you always
Wow, just Wow!!! Everyone has said everything I wanted to say about how wonderful this video was!! I was thinking just how much time and effort is put into making these videos for us. From going through probably hundreds of videos, picking out ones he thinks we would be interested in, finding information on each person, finding songs, pictures, editing all of it and then getting it it here to us. That has to take a long time. That is dedication people!! Thank You, Arthur, for all of your hard work!! And Thanks to everyone that has done all of the superb videos from around the world!!!
What a great episode. Thank you all who contributed.
I live very close to Petersfield but had no idea Sir Alec Guiness was buried there! I’ll have to go visit him soon.
He would no doubt be happy to have you visit.
Benny Hill!! I watched that with my parents when I was little. That music is literally my childhood ❤️
I love my Taphophile shirt !! I can’t leave the house without someone commenting on it.
Hello I really love your tours of famous people in the graveyards I never realised that it could be so interesting,Just one item Richard Beckinsale had two daughters from two marriages one daughter born- Samantha Beckinsale - Kate's half-sister. Samantha Jane Beckinsale is Kate's older half-sister, who was born in 1966.Kathrin Romary Beckinsale 26 july 1973 Chiswick, borough of Hounslow ,London England Residence Los Angeles,California ,Kate's Mother was Judy Loe.

AMY!!😢😢😢 I didn't discover your music until after your passing and when I realized how amazing your voice and songs are, I was instantly more devastated that I'd never get to hear anything new. Your songs never get old to me though. Rest in Peace❤❤❤
