Fun Fact: John Glenn gave my home city of Perth in Australia it’s nickname “the City of Light”. On February 20 in 1962, John Glenn became the first American to orbit the Earth in the Friendship 7 spacecraft. On this mission, Glenn flew over Perth and the people of Perth turned on their lights to acknowledge his mission. Glenn observed that the city was clearly visible from space and Perth became known worldwide as the ‘City of Light’.
Spent an awesome liberty call in Perth in the early 80's while stationed on the Constellation, great city man always wanted to go back. My wife and I had plans to visit my cousin who lives there in 2020 and then all hell broke loose, cheers.

My Dad lives in Arlington and I frequently visit Arlington National Cemetery when I'm down visiting him. I was last there Thanksgiving. It's haunting and beautiful and so big there's always another part to explore. I like to wander around and get lost and take photos. One of my favorite places.

Ahhh, the late, great Esteé Lauder, whose cosmetic company pioneered the long lasting lipsticks with her ALL DAY line. LONG before Revlon came out with Color Stay lipsticks/ liners, eyeliner, etc, it was All Day in a large variety of colors, including Classic Red, Rose, a Berry like Mauve, etc. This was in the 80s when both my mother and I LOVED those lipsticks. My mother also smelled AMAZING in Esteé Lauder's parfum Youth Dew. Thank you Mrs Lauder. And Thank you, viewer for supplying her grave, which brought back wonderful memories of my mother, who sadly, passed unexpectedly in 1991. Much Love!💖😘👍🙏

This episode started in my backyard! Originally a Philly boy, I’m just minutes from Feasterville, my brother lives in Bensalem, my best friend lives in Lansdale, I used to go to Blue Bell almost every week, and my maternal grandmother’s family were coal crackers in Shenandoah, PA. Thanks for showing the world my little corner of it!
that's awesome....I live about 10 minutes from Shenandoah, and was excited when I heard Arthur say " now we go to Shenandoah, Pennsylvania" very cool to see that the coal region made one of his videos!
Arthur, you're the best. I loved all of this and especially Luther Van Dross. I sang Here and Now at my spring concert when I was a Junior in High School. I did not do it justice but loved him and his talent. ❤ Also Maureen O'Hara- my favorite all time actress. Such a brilliant, beautiful lady.
This has got to be the most interesting channel on You Tube. This episode was especially interesting for me since I am from Pennsylvania. I live within 20 minutes of where Nancy Kulp is buried and never new it until now. I knew she owned a home here but always thought she was buried in Calf.

I only heard about the fire at the club that killed Ty Longley a couple of weeks ago, my dad was shown the video in work as part of a fire safety lecture. It was horrific, the whole venue went up in flames so quickly and some of the bouncers near the stage blocked people from using the stage doors to escape. There were so many people trying to get out through the doors at the same time that a lot of them got stuck in a pile and suffocated from the smoke.
OK, I had to pause at Don Brockett!! I grew up in the Burgh, and was and extra in a movie with him. Not a Joke. Plus I Lived across the street from that cemetery of and on for 10 years. Look up the 2 biggest cemeteries I Pittsburgh, I spent so much time in both over 20 years. Lillian Gish is buried there amongst others, bus setiously, check them out. Also I will send you proper footage of the Lee grave's in Seattle at some point. Thanks for the inspo as always!
LOVE YOUR VOICE!!!! Thank-You for showing us Headstones that are rarely shown. Sure does seem as though people either passed from Cancer or Heart Disease, and MANY passed at young ages. It's a PITY!!!!

I love HG but after watching all these videos I can’t help but notice all of the other graves that go unnoticed. It just goes to show that eventually, after many many years, we will be forgotten.

Your tours are both addicting and fascinating, and as a fellow PA resident never realized how many famous people are buried here! Thank you are your research and hard work!
As always, this was a great episode. I can’t think anyone else who else is as detailed with CC as you are. I can only imagine how much time goes into that portion of editing alone. Your hard work is much appreciated.
I use to watch Arthur Ashe playing tennis (I played tennis in high school, college and in leagues). I was so sorry to hear that he had a heart issue and then finding out he had HIV from the blood he received. He did tell people that HIV/AIDS was not just gay men, it happened in a bad bag of blood. It was so sad when he died.
EDIT; I am from Nova Scotia, Canada! I am about an hour and a half drive away from the Alexander graham bell “museum” & his final resting place if you’re interested In seeing that :) I would LOVE to show everyone the resting place of the man who invented the telephone

So many of my musical heroes in this episode! Sarah Vaughan, Ben E. King, Sylvia Robinson, Luther Vandross, Pearl Bailey, Errol Garner and a couple of Isley Brothers!
Just another great piece of work, thank you for sharing!!
Thanks so much for visiting and remembering Luther Vandross, Ben E King, Sarah Vaughan....
Oh of the best videos yet!! I love the American history aspect to it!! You do a remarkable job at honoring our hero’s at Arlington! Keep up the fantastic work!
Moonlight serenade....amazing and was the first piece of music I became interested in
I only heard about the fire at the club that killed Ty Longley a couple of weeks ago, my dad was shown the video in work as part of a fire safety lecture. It was horrific, the whole venue went up in flames so quickly and some of the bouncers near the stage blocked people from using the stage doors to escape. There were so many people trying to get out through the doors at the same time that a lot of them got stuck in a pile and suffocated from the smoke.
I heard about it the same way, but some years ago now. I work for the NHS and it used to be referred to in the Fire Safety face to face training.
It was sad that Ty Longley went back for his guitar 🎸 ,costing him his life.
This has to be one of my favorites!!!!!
Another fine group of tributes. Thank you especially for the trip to Arlington, abbreviated as it was. Arlington has long been on my bucket list.
An amazing place. Plan on a multi-day visit--I have been twice and not come close to seeing it all.
I hope these viewers specials keep going
LOVE YOUR VOICE!!!! Thank-You for showing us Headstones that are rarely shown. Sure does seem as though people either passed from Cancer or Heart Disease, and MANY passed at young ages. It's a PITY!!!!
When he showed the graves of Milton Hershey and the other guy who made Reese's candy; I automatically wanted some chocolate. Lol.
John Denver was my idol and saw him twice in concert. He and Glenn Campbell inspired me to dabble with the guitar.
Thanks so much for submitting these great viewer's videos everyone!
Ben Franklin, a major American genius!❤️🇺🇸
You guys are awesome! You find graves of famous people that I never even heard of. This channel is so educational. Hats off to you, although some of it is sad, I am learning a lot. I am from Ohio, Akron to be exact, and I didn’t know so many famous people was buried in my state. Keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing.
I love HG but after watching all these videos I can’t help but notice all of the other graves that go unnoticed. It just goes to show that eventually, after many many years, we will be forgotten.
As always, Mr. Dark…the clips you include, the back stories…..just astound me. Sooo well done. You deserve an Oscar. 🏆 Thank you..for doing what you do. I am a huge, and grateful fan.

Reese's is the #1 Halloween candy too.R Lee Ermey was in a few commercials too,one was the former drill instructor as a bad therapist in a Geico commercial
I love that you insert little tidbits of song and pictures. Sometimes I am unfamiliar with the name but remember the face or tune. Thank you for all the hard work. Your work is much enjoyed♥️
Thaddeus Stevens was an incredible human.
The Johnny Cash song Ira Hayes .. is that about the soldier?
Yes "The Ballad of Ira Hayes" is about the man buried at Arlington.
Attaboy Thadeus Stevens! Well Done!!
Loved John Updike’s unique gravestone
Your videos are so well done. I love the information you supply at each grave and even the great musical score ! Thank you!
I've personally been to Benjamin Franklin's grave when I visited that part of Philadelphia in 2012! Cool moment, cool man!
Lombardi was the GOAT. None compared. Thats five NFL championships and the first two super bowls in 7 years.
another fantastic video I would like to thank all of the people that record these for Mr Dark and Co. It's truly appreciated.
Another great video Arthur!! Everyone of your videos is a history lesson.
Thanks so much for maureen.
Us Irish are so proud of her.❤
Really enjoy these videos brother. Never stop making content 👍
I am about an hour and a half drive away from the Alexander graham bell “museum” & his final resting place if you’re interested In seeing that :) I would LOVE to show everyone the resting place of the man who invented the telephone
gorgeous video
